How about tapping the wire for fuel pump even before it gets to fuse box? That will be very difficult to trace. As it stands right now, Thief will suspect fuel pump and check out the fuse box. Maybe 5 sec to bypass for knowledgeable thief.
Im liking this vid. Made three switches in case they find one the other two will still be off. Thanks for this helpful deed to save others in a bad situation
Not trolling here, but you just gave the viewers (and average thief) the 411 on where you installed the kill switch on your car. Guess where they will be looking after they see your tutorial? Don’t get me wrong, it was a good tutorial, I really enjoyed it. I would just not post it for everyone to see where I installed a kill switch. The goal to stall thief for as long as possible, so they give up and move on to the next car without one, because like you said, no car is impossible to steal. However, you can make it a pain for them to do so. I however have the best kill switch on my cars, it’s called a 45 ACP deterrent switch. Man, It works miracles.
If a thief checked your fuse box really fast, they would see that wire and they could just pull it and swap a fuse from a different slot in there really quickly
Dont use the fuel pump fuse! Imagine that fuse falling out or barely connected plus It's hokey as hell! Use the clutch or brake switch ( yes the one where you have to hold the clutch or brake in order to start it. Way easier as all you do is relocate it from the pedal to another location. It's free and it works. Twice now I had someone punch the ignition and obviously someone tried to use the OBD port as the rubber boot was missing. No luck for the scumbags
take out the fuse with the wire and plug in a new one and we are good to go. 10 sek tops. Yoy shoud have cut the wire behind the fuse box and put the wire there, that would be harder to se and fix.
Good video! I'm going to set my car up like this over this weekend :) The way I see it is if they want the car bad enough, they'll get it and it's impossible to stop. Something simple like this to slow them down or deter the amateur theif is fine by me! Thanks for the video!
Very helpful video thanks. I drive a 2000 Civic and those things are easy to steal. Mine got stolen a few weeks ago, cops found it, and the dudes at the tow shop told me to install a kill switch so I might have to do this. You're right no car is theft-proof but in a joyride theft situation like my car a thief isn't gonna waste time trying to bypass a switch. A more valuable target, maybe
kwirkLA That's how I see it. Unless you piss somebody off and all they're after is your car, i don't think they're going to spend to much time trying to steal your car. My brothers car ended up at a chop shop in mexico. It sad to wake up and have your car gone. Thanks for watching!
Christian I finished the kill switch and it came out great I live in south central so now I can sleep with out worring that I parked my car to far from the house thanks man. Next I will try the SRS light off.
Just wire to your fog light switch or radio knob, (*never to anything hanging out or to your fuse box or panel, from the switch itself*) or a fuel pump shut off somewhere outside, under the wheel well...thieves dont sit there trying all the differing switches or knobs...but they will drag the hand in obvious kill switch locations (humans are lazy, stereo installers being easily predictable, because of cost, repetition, etc locations are routine) I have mine paired to my fog lights, (*not your headlights*) and Ive had 4 88-93 Fox 5.0 Ponies over the last 20yrs in a high car theft location and literally have video up, of me laughing at people trying to steal one, the only way to get it is to have it towed. Great tips! Peace!
Good idea Christian. Regarding the switch: I would use crimped connectors, which I would solder to the wires (not the switch, of course). A good, fast solution. Thanks!
I have the exact same car and I worry every knight that my car will get stolen thank you for punting this video up thank you, may god bless you with a bunch of kids.
Tip: instead of drilling a hole through the fuse, just blow it using the 12 volt battery. Attach cables to the battery terminals and touch the other ends to the fuse.
Well done my friend...this coming from an electrician. I was happy to see that you installed another remote fuse, again well done and the same set up I have on my car.
Why not just short/blow the fuse, or better still buy an inline fuse holder and keep the fuse to insert into that, after using small spade connectors to insert into original fuse housing?
i'm kinda like a mad scientist experimenting on my truck. Currently, I run a self made (DIY) HHO Generator fashioned inside a comparable sized milk crate in my truck bed (outside in case of 'H-Bomb' *BOOM* I got a safe place for all the glass from the pickle jar to go but my redundant safeguard is in the thermodynamics of the stator vacuum pressure.) with its tube going under my cab to the engine compartment, then to a smaller pickle jar that fits perfect in the area in front of the brake booster on the 'cool side of the engine' with one hose in from the crate in my truck bed and one hose out to my air intake right before my throttle body.. Your video gives me the idea of how to make an on/off (I/O) switch for my fuel pump. Just what I need to confirm my truck can run without gasoline except for when starting up. I mean, to shut off the fuel pump and run my engine completely off of Hydrogen. I'm harnessing the forces of nature here bro and you'll be the first one to know if it works after I shut off the fuel pump with your switch. Thanks amigo and nice looking girlfriend you got helping you out. Respect. Caveat* I'm no real Scientist, Professional or have any Certification to prove I know whatever it is I'm talking about so don't quote me on sh*t!
+Atlas WalkedAway should you want to revert, you would need to solder and shrink wrap vs a fuse can just be replaced and its as good as new. Unfortunately it going the same for security... Can be bypassed if you know where to look.
Youre both acting like solder and shrink tube requires a contract with NASA. I happen to be an electronics engineer and my rsx can only be stolen with a flatbed and no witnesses so I do have a perspective on these things. It takes 20 minute to install a perfectly hidden switch with robust connections, but if you want to screw with the fuse box, solder to copper allows, add two more resistive solder joints because you need to add an additional fuse with additional resistive connections, and leave ridiculous wires hanging out of the first place a thief will look once he busts your ignition lock and the car doesn't crank, then be my guest.
from experience, make it a hassle & time consuming to a car thief. The longer it takes them to steal your car the faster they will give up, especially when there's a gun pointed at them.
You should run it from the starter of your car. A thief will check that box and cut the wires to avoid the switch, but from the starter will take him too much time.
I think that wire is a little bit to thin to connect with 15 amp current potentially!I would take a bigger lead.. A to thin lead can potentially get to hot while driving a long time in the summer and melt the isolation. There a lot of cars that were burned because off such sketchy work in the electrics. You cant compare it with a speaker wire, because through a speaker wire goes AC!And only a bit of bass which has the most power. But on this goes a DC current and that goes continue in time, compared with the speaker wire.Look at the thickness of the wire inside the fuse! And thats only a very short wire and you are gonna make a longer wire and so with more resistance. And more resistance means more heat..
Install two 1" +/- pieces of heat shrink tubing before soldering over the wires and allow enough clearance for soldering the joints after soldering slide heat shrink tubing over soldered areas and use a hair dryer or other heat source to shrink the insulating tubing over the entire connections. Next, never try to hold anything with your fingers when attempting to drill holes as you can seriously injure yourself when the drill bit grabs and turns the material by then it is to late to release the part. OUCH! Other than lack of experience in these areas a great well thought out video. Thanks
thanks Christian for sharing this video. some car dealers here are selling this about 1k RGT (USD 400) LMAO.. luckily i saw your video and now I know this should not even cost more than few bucks.. haha
By far the best video regarding this topic I've seen, simple enough that literally anyone can do it without electrical experience, while effective enough that any 2 bit thief will get frustrated and give up, move on to the next car, 3 thumbs up 👍 👍👍
The fuel pump fuse is a popular place to run a Kill-switch system. A good Car Thief knows this as well. If he is targeting your model car, along with a slim-jim he is gonna have a fuse or 2 with him. He breaks in, car cranks but wont start, he opens the fuse-box, sees the installed wire, pulls it out, pops in a fuse of his own, takes off with your car. Maybe a break locking device would be a safer bet??
+Rohan Ebanks most Definitly. A user commented not to long ago and I like the way he said it. This Is like level 1. Simple but easy to by pass. I hope to have video soon that makes it more complicated but its difficult to make something that is difficult look simplier to be able to make it a successful video.

Very usefull video thankz, quick question the fuse we have to drill it to the point where the wire breaks? The one goes across from one side to the other
Great video, however, there are quite a few dudes in comments who throw shade on your efforts, I say to them if you can do better make your own video! Hey, it may not stop a thief or carjacker, but it will at least slow them down or maybe they will move on to something easier. Thanks for putting this out.
WeightPull ChAmP he could have but he is just using the original fuse "slot" as a point to connect his ring circuit with the switch ,it is not a bad idea and it looks neat and tidy and is not dirty or covered with oil,but yes splicing the the pos or neg wire would work, however you would have to start messing around in the wire loom or get your fingers full of muck splicing it near the actual pump
what are the cons of this? since you kill the fuel pump would this damage the pump or any other components such as the computer thinking there is a fault going on or so???
You're over thinking it, if the pump is off/no power how would it damage it..... It can't, the computer doesn't care if there's gas or not it's still going to crank, just like when you're going down a hill with your foot off the gas, theres no fuel going to the engine (in modern cars)
If you get really creative, wire a three way switch in series with a relay that routes the start solenoid signal to the horn. So that not only will the car fail to start, it will also sound the horn so long as the car cranks over. So someone hops in your car and manages to get the car to turn over "BEEEEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEP"
Better to put the switch on the GROUND wire to the Fuel Pump. It's easy to locate and easy to tap in to. And....NO ONE WILL SEE WIERD WIRES COMING OUT OF YOUR FUSE PANEL. Much more covert and easier. Your welcome. 😉
There are a lot of things you can ground that will keep the car from starting/running. Multiply switches for severe situations. There is a problem here with having your car but with a dead battery after an attempt. Fixed by jumper cables. A pro thief will look at the fuse box before giving up because it is wire central.. And switche(s) out of sight under the dash and seat.
Have you thought about using an accessory button for an accessory your car no longer has? This might not be applicable to a newer car, but a cruise control button on a car without cruise control or the ac button on a car with the AC stripped? would the accessory button work the same as the toggle?
So long as the switch is made to work as a latch. If its a a momentary it wont work. I actually really like that idea. I might go out and buy a sun roof switch from the junk yard and do it. Haha
Thought about the cruise control, ac, fog light, defroster, etc.. the continual accessory buttons. and several of those are 15A circuits anyway so you know the switch can handle it.
Do you need to add in that extra fuse? I understand you do it so you don't have to redo the fuse that you rigged up again but is it necessary for any reason??
i just did the same thing for my radio cause it wouldnt turn off with the truck.i did not add the extra fuse so i was wondering what would happen if i didnt have the extra fuse and if it failed would it do any real bad damage .btw i have it hooked up to a 20 amp toggle switch ,same amps as the fuse needed to run my radio just to add that in.
The entire point is stealth. They don't know that, you do because you watched the video. Switch is installed in a low key area. They could just think it's a beater and move on to the next.
Use stock looking wires, and don't mess with the fuse, interrupt the connection somewhere else down the fuel pump wiring, also use a fuse there as well...and place the switch 100% out of sight...even if you are under the dash you should not be able to see it. This should be combined with other security measures as well and a really good car alarm. system...and GPS tracking...some thieves don't bother with getting into the car they use tow trucks and jack your shit in less than 10 seconds.
Alex Fernandez If you don't mind me adding to that answer, it does need the same amperage fuse. The reason is that a higher amperage fuse won't blow when the circuit's maximum amperage is reached, nullifying the purpose of it and creating risk for damage to the car and/or fire. A lower amperage fuse is likely to blow too early, making the circuit stop operating even under normal use.
Great video. Simple and straight forward. I have one question. Could I do the same for starter fuse and go from there? Same wiring setup, just wired to starter fuse. Looked everywhere and can't locate fuel pump fuse on 90s Toyota.
Definitely! The fuel pump is usually the best choice because people who do steal cars know that the starter is what most people put the switch on. Not only that but the fuel pump is inside the car and is nearly impossible to force start it ie.. give it a current. A starter you can actually make it turn from the outside.. (I wont say exactly how). There are other fuses that do the job too. On some cars they have a fuse called ignition coil or something like that but whatever stop your car from running is all you need! A thief only has a few minutes to start your car and if they don't do it withing that time, they just leave. Thanks for watching!
+Christian Macias Nb With newer cars, even if you force the starter to run, the ECU needs at minimum a signal from the crank angle sensor and/or other sensors to start. Without those signals they can force the starter till the battery is dead and it wont start.
+RMRKV1 that would be true if you want the armature to spin. If you want it to actually turn the engine over there are other things that need to happen my friend.
Thanks for the elaborate video. However, you have removed the fuse from the fuel pump circuit, an essential protection for the fuel pump. Maybe you could have installed the switch on the wire running to the F. pump? Just a thought.
Hi there. I have the same car. It has 2 issues that disturb me, and I want to solve them somehow. Would you help me? -1. That buzzer alarm sound just disturbs me a lot. I don't want to remove it totally but just to reduce the buzzing volume it makes. Maybe cover it with some plastic tape to block the sound a bit. I couldn't locate the buzzer. Where is the buzzer on this car..? -2. From time to time my kids just cannot close the doors so good. The door is open when the car is running. It indicates with light that the door actually is not completely closed and locked on the dashboard, but it does not buzz signal. I would like to set a buzzing signal for open doors as the car runs. Is there any way to set the buzzer to signal when the doors open when the car runs? Thanks...
Why does everyone want to switch the hot? I would think it makes more sense to switch the ground. It's DC. // Edit.I tried it. Starts right up with no ground!
so how would i wire that kill switch with my horn so that when my kill switch is on and someone try start up the car the horn would go off and stays on when the car is cranking but turns off after it stop cranking?
A relay and a dpdt switch(or dpdt if you can't find a dpst). Connect one half of the switch like the video but the other half with have a ground and a connection to a relay that will trigger it. Then the relay with honk the horn. When the ignition completes the circuit on the relay it will honk. This is great idea and if I get a chance I'll make a video on this!
If you do turn the switch off on accident for whatever reason. You loose vacuum assisted brakes and power steering. This means you will need to step on the brakes much harder to stop the vehicle and also pull the steering wheel harder.
Christian Macias Actually, most steering wheels just lock up when they're shut off - that is mainly why this is so dangerous, especially on the highway. Killing the engine leaves you coasting, but if you cannot turn the steering wheel, you're as good as dead, because you can't restart the engine until you've braked and shifted into park. The reason the Jeep Cherokee KL remote hacking experiment by Wired was so dangerous, was precisely because of that. Do not put your kill switch in a place where you can bump it.
Good idea but I would of tapped into the wire going to the relay out the back of the fuse box so if they look they don't see something that looks way out the normal at a glance
this is like Level 1 beginner install. Level 2 would be removing the fuse panel and installing the switch on the circuit without any evidence that there is a switch installed. Level 3 would be to use a cellular or RF keyfob receiver instead of a radioshack switch.
Wait, you can just buy that shit? This plan sounds foolproof, why doesn't everyone just do that?
I think I'M going to do that.

This was really well put together and not to mention clear (We can actually see what you're doing). Subscribed.
Except everything he did in this video is improper and very dangerous.
manual the American kill switch
but what if the theft knows how to drive manual.
This happened to my brother. I'm guessing the guy was a professional. Hot wired the car, and pop the clutch. Didn't hear a sound.
yeah my manual car was stolen last week, but i got it back two days ago :) now kill switch lol
Lololol, nice one Empty.
The american kill switch has always been fast food
*Watch the video analyze it, and improve from it..*
Thieves don't like to work. If there is the slightest difficulty, they just look for an easier prey.
@@herberar I do agree that it would deter 90 percent of thieves tho
All they would have to do is just cut and connect the two wires.
@@HoneyBadger_DIY Yeah they could do that too. But to be fair. 99 percent of thieves will just give up with the car doesnt start.
Great video man, I'm heading to Radio Shack now. Just got my car back after a week of being stolen!
Good video! I'm going to set my car up like this over this weekend :) The way I see it is if they want the car bad enough, they'll get it and it's impossible to stop. Something simple like this to slow them down or deter the amateur theif is fine by me! Thanks for the video!
The only way they're gonna steal mine is with a tow.
Version 2 use a relay switch. And come from the engine compartment to a switch
Thanks for the post, this is the best video showing step by step on how to accurately install a kill switch. Thanks again.
Neva Mind Thank you! I tried making it as simple and safe as I could.
will still fuck your car
+Christian Macias damn.. how'd you find out where the car ended up?
Good vid!! What was the rates amperage on the kill switch?
Or it doesn’t matter
The rating on the switch matters. Installer’s use relays. A relay uses a small current to control a large current draw.
Great tips! Peace!
What kind of wire are you using looks like speaker wire in what gauge does it have to be
I think he meant heat shrink and not shrink wrap.
Mate, you're a hero! Really nicely presented too, clear and easy to follow. Subscribed.
Nice. Just got my 1992 GSR Teg ripped off today in San Diego. Wish I would have had this in it. Good vid, easy to do
the basics always wins over bollox . welldone kid good video
This is one of the best videos for avoiding thief's from stealing your car. Thanks so much +christian macias
Tip: instead of drilling a hole through the fuse, just blow it using the 12 volt battery. Attach cables to the battery terminals and touch the other ends to the fuse.
I thought the badge on your front grill was the kill switch.
Omar is Rad lol I agree! lol!!
I recommend having two switches in series instead of one switch. One switch on the dashboard and the other one wherever you prefer to have.
The fuse is there for a reason, to protect the device, should not bypass that fuse and use as a kilo switch.
This is like the best kill switch video I've seen. Thanks for the work you put in to it. My Honda thanks you.
Another good kill switch is to connect a switch between the main distributer power wire running to the selinoid.
Why in the world would you screw with fuse? Just split the wire between the fuse and the pump.
Atlas WalkedAway bc his modification doesnt permanently damage the vehicle wiring. he can remove the switch and just put a reg. fuse back.
gary hutchison And just how do you permanently damage a wire?
+Atlas WalkedAway should you want to revert, you would need to solder and shrink wrap vs a fuse can just be replaced and its as good as new. Unfortunately it going the same for security... Can be bypassed if you know where to look.
Christian Macias at least someone was tracking me lol
Youre both acting like solder and shrink tube requires a contract with NASA. I happen to be an electronics engineer and my rsx can only be stolen with a flatbed and no witnesses so I do have a perspective on these things. It takes 20 minute to install a perfectly hidden switch with robust connections, but if you want to screw with the fuse box, solder to copper allows, add two more resistive solder joints because you need to add an additional fuse with additional resistive connections, and leave ridiculous wires hanging out of the first place a thief will look once he busts your ignition lock and the car doesn't crank, then be my guest.
RadioShack ohhh I miss it 🥺
from experience, make it a hassle & time consuming to a car thief. The longer it takes them to steal your car the faster they will give up, especially when there's a gun pointed at them.
You can use 2 small male spade connectors instead of the broken fuse.
or you could intentionally blow the fuse instead of drilling through it.
Thanks
thanks Christian for sharing this video. some car dealers here are selling this about 1k RGT (USD 400) LMAO.. luckily i saw your video and now I know this should not even cost more than few bucks.. haha
I would wait a little longer if you can. I'm getting ready to make another one that is much harder to bypass!
+Christian Macias will do.. I'll await for that. thanks again bro.
No prob!
A wise man once said if it works it works 😂
I hope to have video soon that makes it more complicated but its difficult to make something that is difficult look simplier to be able to make it a successful video.

thank you so much man every other kill switch video is so dumb or fake yours actually worked thanks for the help.
Very usefull video thankz, quick question the fuse we have to drill it to the point where the wire breaks? The one goes across from one side to the other
Yes. You're purposely breaking the little wire.
Great video, however, there are quite a few dudes in comments who throw shade on your efforts, I say to them if you can do better make your own video! Hey, it may not stop a thief or carjacker, but it will at least slow them down or maybe they will move on to something easier. Thanks for putting this out.
second fuse it's on + wire or - or it's doesn't matters ? thx
+SambadaTed it doesn't matter you are just putting a fuse across the circuit
+zghvbn1 but why couldn't he just leave the original fuse alone, and then just spliced the switch into the fuel pump power supply?
WeightPull ChAmP
he could have but he is just using the original fuse "slot" as a point to connect his ring circuit with the switch ,it is not a bad idea and it looks neat and tidy and is not dirty or covered with oil,but yes splicing the the pos or neg wire would work, however you would have to start messing around in the wire loom or get your fingers full of muck splicing it near the actual pump
+zghvbn1 Always but a switch on the ground, it reduces the amperage the switch takes
2:10 This home boi be having 3 hands.
🤣
what are the cons of this? since you kill the fuel pump would this damage the pump or any other components such as the computer thinking there is a fault going on or so???
You're over thinking it, if the pump is off/no power how would it damage it..... It can't, the computer doesn't care if there's gas or not it's still going to crank, just like when you're going down a hill with your foot off the gas, theres no fuel going to the engine (in modern cars)
Is this guy some demigod? He grew extra limbs to help with the soldering.
I totally trust my fuel pump to some speaker wires LOL
Better to put the switch on the GROUND wire to the Fuel Pump. It's easy to locate and easy to tap in to. And....NO ONE WILL SEE WIERD WIRES COMING OUT OF YOUR FUSE PANEL.
Much more covert and easier. Your welcome. 😉

Great idea to stop thieves from taking off assuming he has the keys or does not know a damn about electronics
UhOh
very smart idea my young bro! i actually spliced into my ignition wire ,, but this method is so much easier.. thanks for posting... you da man!
thanks... my 00 civic got stolen friday ... i recovered it so im doing this to my 07 too
Freaking krazy!!!! Love the helping hands setup you got. Precise and accurate hands!!!!!
How do u install this in semi trucks
Thanks for the informative video. I appreciate you putting it up.
+Kimo Clyde haha yea, sometimes things slip by you when editing. Its hard not to repeat yourself when not on a script.
when you drill the fuse were you hitting the metal part of the fuse or just the plastic.
We hit the metal in the center to break the contact
Do you need to add in that extra fuse? I understand you do it so you don't have to redo the fuse that you rigged up again but is it necessary for any reason??
Yes
i just did the same thing for my radio cause it wouldnt turn off with the truck.i did not add the extra fuse so i was wondering what would happen if i didnt have the extra fuse and if it failed would it do any real bad damage .btw i have it hooked up to a 20 amp toggle switch ,same amps as the fuse needed to run my radio just to add that in.
Easily bypassed by removing the modded fuse and plugging in a regular fuse.
+hsucks If you know where to look!
The entire point is stealth. They don't know that, you do because you watched the video. Switch is installed in a low key area. They could just think it's a beater and move on to the next.
I might try installing hood locks and pulling the ignition coil wire.
Thanks for the video and keeping it short and simple
Use stock looking wires, and don't mess with the fuse, interrupt the connection somewhere else down the fuel pump wiring, also use a fuse there as well...and place the switch 100% out of sight...even if you are under the dash you should not be able to see it.
This should be combined with other security measures as well and a really good car alarm. system...and GPS tracking...some thieves don't bother with getting into the car they use tow trucks and jack your shit in less than 10 seconds.
under the shift boot in a manual is a good spot
Do you use the same fuse as the original in the fuse holder? Or do you use a bigger amperage fuse?
It needs the be the same amperage fuse.
Anthony Blanco Yes, that will work just fine!
Cool, thanks.
FINALLY! an easier way to install a kill switch. Thanks!
I don't have a "fuel pump" fuse can I use the "starter relay" fuse?
You're an idiot he did just that. GTFO
Wow RadioShack can’t remember when I seen one open
A 5 minute delay kill switch would be nice. Prevent car jackings
This method can be effective in the countries which they are stealing vehicles , i like it
What country isn't stealing cars? North Korea?
So the first fuse is being used just as a mount? It's not a fuse anymore? You drilled through it, right?
So...the fuse resistance is equal to the switch's resistance?
Thanks...
this is cool.i agree with this.it lower the risk off your car being stolen.come on guys lets install this.
Does the fuse holder matters where it goes positive or negative or it could go on either or
Either or.
Why does everyone want to switch the hot? I would think it makes more sense to switch the ground. It's DC. // Edit.I tried it. Starts right up with no ground!
Thank you Man, very easy to understand. I will install my on my car. Thanks!
Theives are smart to open the breakers compartment and they will see the wires you connected to it easily.
A 15A fuse... and you use speaker wire to attach to it? Can that wire handle 15A??
so how would i wire that kill switch with my horn so that when my kill switch is on and someone try start up the car the horn would go off and stays on when the car is cranking but turns off after it stop cranking?
A relay and a dpdt switch(or dpdt if you can't find a dpst). Connect one half of the switch like the video but the other half with have a ground and a connection to a relay that will trigger it. Then the relay with honk the horn. When the ignition completes the circuit on the relay it will honk. This is great idea and if I get a chance I'll make a video on this!
when you said connect horn it reminds me of the jokes that Jeremy Clarkson does like connecting the brake wire to the horn 😂
simple but effective; good job. Question: does it matter which wire gets the fuse holder (hot or cold)?
so the fuse u drilled wont work right its just to have the wires attached in place?
Do you know if accidentally hitting the kill switch while driving would hurt the engine at all? Or would it just cause a slowdown/stop?
You basicly just turn your car off. So there shouldn't be any major.
Very dangerous on the highway. Don't put it in a place where you might hit it accidentally.
+Daniel H agreed. I had someone put it behind their seat and rear passengers would kick it and accidentally turn off the vehicle while driving.
