  • Kawasaki Z900 vs Kawasaki Ninja 650. In this video I let Sean (one of my subscribers) take my Kawasaki Z900 for a ride here in the Philippines so he can experience the thrills of the beautiful 949cc inline 4 engine. He has never previously ridden anything more powerful than a Kawasaki Z400. He also gets to try out my Kawasaki Ninja 650 and then we compare the two bikes.

    😎👍🇺🇲
I can remember the days of lower HP bikes.
That was a long time ago.
With road bikes. I went from a first Gen CBR 600 to the RC30 to a VMAX. Then I turbo charged the VMAX.
All down hill from there 😁
Personally. I'd like to hear more about the road hazards or the unusual things you come across.
The conditions there can be quite different than other countries.
In my area. The conditions can be quite predictable. Rarely come across sand or debris. Mostly watching for other drivers on their cell phones.
I suppose if I had to choose.
Knowing what I need the bike for. I'd probably choose the rally 300. Mainly because I'd need transportation and the ability to carry stuff. 25-30 HP is like riding a scooter except for the familiarity of a clutch and gearbox.
If I could sneak one of mine in my carry-on. My KTM for sure. Super light and lots of extra power.
    If I could bring 2.
My two stroke 500. It's lighter than the KTM and makes a sound like nothing else.
That would be for showing off for the locals.😆
It's extremely impractical and painful to ride.
I don't think it would hurt the video to narrate a little about what you're avoiding or watching out for.
    Just my 2¢.
Cheers from the PNW Seattle WA USA area ✌️

      Hi Frank,
Thanks for the comment. I’m thinking of doing a series that covers everything you need to know about riding here. Hopefully that would be right up your street.
Noted regarding the narration, almost like a hazard awareness video that we used to have to do back in the UK to get our bike license. I’ll have a think about that, it’s definitely a possibility for a future video.
The Rally would definitely be a good choice here. I also have a Tenere 700 on order which should also be well suited and with a bit more power for longer rides.
      Have a great weekend.

A tenere 700 on order...... nice to be rich in the philippine.....Lol
Tenere 700 is top heavy for off-road.

      @@Alan-rz2fc haha rich, not quite.
I’m just not a slave to mortgages and debt.
I’ve heard about the Tenere’s top heavyness. I don’t think it will be a problem for soft Offroad and my height. I’d consider a KTM 890 Adventure R or Aprilia Tuareg but the KTM isn’t available here and the Aprilia dealer hasn’t got back to me…
