  • I took the Honda CRF 300 Rally to ride with a couple of mates to the highest point in Cebu (Osmena Peak). On the way we explored the mountain roads and valleys via remote tracks, rode the most impressive road i've ever encountered and had the best tasting soda. A truly incredible ride.

No worries. Go back soon before they complete that road if you don’t want pure cement roads.

I'm flipping jealous!! I commute to Alegria (town after Badian) to Lapu2x city once or twice a month, but I still have not been to badian highlands despite passing that town multiple times!!
I can't wait to sell off my R3 and have a proper bike

I saw it a couple of weeks ago when searching Offroad tracks. I mentioned it to my mate on our last ride. Possibly going to head there in the next week or two. Is access a problem? It’s private land right?

Hi and thanks for the sub. I bought both my CRF's from GUDMoto as they have a branch in Barili where I live. DU Ek Sam Lahug often have the Rally in stock. I've bought from them before and they were ok.

I just cannot wear that protective gear in the tropical heat so I drive a car with AC in the Philippines.

I can understand that. I went through a period like that but the bikes kept calling me back. I’m experimenting with motocross gear on some rides which is much cooler.

@@dave642haha , nor did I until this year. I’m going with a body armour vest with jersey over the top, knee guards under motocross pants , an open motocross helmet with goggles and a hydration pack on my back. It’s amazing what a difference it makes. The helmet vents so well and I’m barely sweating and now the rides are enjoyable.

In february this year wanted to go to Osmena peak while staying in Moalboal....seemed to be straightforward on Google maps 😅 managed to get there and back two up on a little Click but it was a bit of a nightmare...don't think we took the same route as you did here! On the way back especially about 3 or 4km wasn't a road...just a downhill rocky track and a twist and go was not ideal to say the least....so hot it was just t shirt and shorts I'm afraid. Osmena peak was amazing but have to admit I was glad to get back to Moalboal 😁😅
