I know many of us have already driven the Sibonga-Dumanjug Mountain Road. But, there are also many of you out there who haven't tried taking this route going to Dumanjug probably because they are used to taking the more popular Carcar-Barili-Dumanjug route. Or probably some doesn't want to try because they are having second thoughts taking an unfamiliar road.
Worry no more because today's vlog is about this route from Sibonga Poblacion (corner Prince Hypermart) going to Dumanjug's Barangay Tapon (Exit/Entry of this road). Let's start our vlog in Sibonga. And, by the way, Sibonga will be celebrating its annual fiesta this August 10. So, mark your calendar mga Igsoon! From Sibonga, I will be riding "Siloy", my Yamaha MT-03 to the mountain barangays of both Sibonga and Dumanjug. I will make a short stopover to co-feature Pityak Falls or Tubod-Dugoan Waterfalls in Barangay Tubod Dugoan in Dumanjug (very near Sibonga-Dumanjug Boundary).
Apart from the road and the views we see while driving this road, I will also talk about the different barangays I pass going to Dumanjug. At least you get acquainted with the places you will pass by when you drive to Dumanjug from Sibonga.
I will take my lunch in Dumanjug then I will be motorcycling to this same road (Dumanjug-Sibonga Mountain Road) but will make a detour in Barangay Doldol. The road that connects to Sibonga-Dumanjug Road in Barangay Doldol is an access road going to Barili Poblacion. I will show you the road there so that when you are somewhere in South Cebu and you want to go to Carcar or Barili, you can take this route to avoid the traffic from your usual route.

Bai, I suggest you drive from Santander, the southernmost point of Cebu to Mantalongon (in Dalaguete) by using only the mountain roads. It would be a great scenic drive passing through tiny villages, vegetable farms, lush jungles and scenic views of the mountains.
