  • I've been searching for how to stay cool on a motorbike while riding in the Philippines for the last decade and I've finally found thesolutions that not only keep me cool but also allow me to enjoy my rides here much more.
    In this video I go through the gear, tips and tricks that I use to stay cool in this hot, humid environment.

      I checked in to it.
      Doesn't look like putting it in the carry-on will work.
      So I'm going to dress it up like baby and strap it to my chest.
      They'll never know.

    I agree on the mx getup for a day's ride, but when I go farther I still go with my all season gear but I wear long sleeved shirt underneath and a balaclava on my head, soaking them wet every 2 hours or so. I zip up my jacket to control the evaporation so the wind doesn't dry me out too quickly. I would do this several times a day when I did my Philippine loop and some places were hitting 48 to 50Cs.

      I must use my balaclava. Never do but cooling my head as you say would be effective.
      How many days did you do your philippine loop over and on what bike? I’m planning to do it either this year or next.

      Road rash, when your skin gets scraped by the road surface when you fall off. Very painful.
