I have a dvd about ayrtons life in Brazil and his story as a racing driver and there was a point where he walked with Gerhard berger to the Tamburello corner on the imola circuit and they both voiced their concerns about that corner and Ayrton predicted that one day someone will die at that corner but what he didn't realise is that he was predicting his own death but if there had been a gravel trap and a tyre barrier at that corner, Ayrton probably still would have crashed but the impact wouldn't have been quite as intense as it was at the time and he would probably still be living today. RIP Ayrton ❤
Wtf are you talking about? the impact wasn't intense at all. It was the broken suspension piece that killed him on the spot when it hit him through the visor.
I know what you're saying, any difference in trajectory or speed could have affected the way the suspension came off the car....a few cm any direction he would be alive. The other bloke in the comments has some serious issues.
@@AndreaP76it wasnt the suspension that hit him, the suspension broke, and upon impact with the wall his head got slammed into the steering wheel, and he died from that
Brilliant visual commentary editing there buddy adds more weight to already a legendary story.what a mindset senna had going to monaco.no wonder how he flirted with the walls every corner.
Whenever, Senna beat Prost and that is lot of time, Prost was nowhere near him. In qualifying, Prost was like dusted. Lot of time, system tilted in Prost favor by Balestre then, only he was able to compete with Senna.
And Prost beat Senna a lot of times. In qualifying Senna was faster but in races Prost beat Senna most of the time. In 1990 for example Prost driving a slower Ferrari almost won the championship against Senna who drove a clearly faster McLaren. Senna had to crash on porpoise into Prost to stop him from winning the championship.
Valeu Senna!!!
Yeah but it's missing the hilarious part, Alain just said "shit" because he couldn't believe journalists would eat that nonsense up, instead they really did. That's how much hype and aura there was around Senna, that people did in fact believe all the idiotic stuff that came out of his mouth.
A simple exaggeration, but it could be a half truth too: What he actually might've done is just switch off his brain, dive into his subconscious, rely on his muscle memory to drive (enter what in racing terms is called "the Flow") and just start calculating an optimal lap. It's not an outlandish or unusual concept either, there are videos of F1 drivers sitting holding a wheel with their eyes closed pretending to do a lap.
@@m1co294 Senna was not a native English speaker; that's how a Portuguese speaker would explain visualizing the outcome of your own actions in the car from the outside. That's how you "remove" yourself from a situation and see it from the outside, with your mind. Prost only said BS because he didn't understand what Senna was saying. Senna took a very 'religious' approach to his things, i don't know if that really was how he thought or that it was a tactic, like a 'prank' almost of sorts in order to intimidate. But senna actually did exactly what Prost himself did : calculate. Senna took himself 'out of the car' for a moment by not focusing on his driving, almost reaching instinct levels driving, and thinking about 'tactics', and calculated that he'd be better off with changing tires despite losing position or some time, but calculated himself the tire gains, and as such, 'came back' focused on the race itself, having decided that was the way to go.

Acho que se você se conversar com pilotos só uma coisa importa ser o melhor e o primeiro lugar humildade ser honesto isso é fora das pista
