I watched this video cause it was recommended. I was surprised it had only 800 views. This looks easily like a video made by someone getting a consistent 150k views. Incredible work
The list is great. Though I would swap McLarens for Aston Martin. McLaren interiors do feel rather plain and Astons are just more... gorgeous. I would probably put Genesis higher (my favourite Luxury car brand against MB and Audi and BMW etc.), but even though they are crazy, they need just a bit more presence. But wise choices otherwise :)
I drive a Genesis G90 Ultimate. People have mistaken it for a Bently. Everyone who gets in says it's better than a Mercedes and BMW. I've owned BMW's and Mercedes' and my Genesis is shitting on them. This car is a pure Luxury. Just because the brand doesn't have the "cache" doesn't mean they don't know how to make luxury cars.
Genesis poached the Bentley designer and some articles call it the “budget Bentley.” My brother owned one of the genesis coupes before the rebrand and his car was mistaken as something much nicer all the time. I don’t doubt it. Glad you enjoy it. And it’s cachet
@@carsofmedicineappreciate the spell check. Maybe my phone thought I was talking about a weapons cache. 🤔🤦🏾 My wife didn't want me to get that car. But after the 1st ride she wanted to steal it. In 2022 when I bought it my next goal was to buy the audi R8 but then alot of my coin went bye bye with the FTX and cotps crash.
Yeah they suck! And lose way too much value way too quickly..the initial price can be 60-80k and in 2 years drop to 30k hence their ghibli prices now compared to when they are released
Panel gaps off by 0.2 cm may have been an issue in 2012. I agree the interior is spartan, but the quality of the material is still there and upgraded in the 2024 models. The luxury comes from the tech: the infotainment, using your phone as a key, the supercharging network, the performance, and the range. The Model S was the most luxurious EV sedan you could buy for years until the Porsche Taycan. The Model 3 competed in size and price with the BMW 3-series. Not having Tesla on this list would be a disservice.
Why Tesla? what is luxury about it? premium materials? premium ride quality? WHY??? My take - Just a hype. Disagree? prove me wrong please, I am serious.
Buick does sadly have a core audience 😂Toyota with the Camry have managed to attract the younger crowd..but Buick just screams senior citizen or safe first car for a teenager! And as far as vw! They are basically the father of most of the brands on this list Bentley..Bugatti..Audi..Porsche they all fall under the Volkswagen umbrella
Buick is definitely very popular in China. They can't axe it in the US market, or it would lose some status. I also heard they're more common in the Midwest, but I live on the US East Coast, so I wouldn't know.
I mostly disagree with this list. GMC and VW shouldn't be here at all. ultra-performance should not be considered luxury because quality materials are inherent to building high-performance. some of these brands like tesla shouldnt be here either because they are considered hi-tech and not luxury
Luxury is subjective. There is no list that everyone will agree on, which is why I welcome comments! GMC identifies as a luxury/premium brand hence why it's on the list. Tesla was not in my "luxury" tier, but the brand is definitely more than an economy car and should be in the video as the Model S and X are "luxury" vehicles.
Lexus LC500 looks ugly as hell and their cars are just sad. BMW are incompetent, Merc is just a mess, Audi built quality is awful. Pretty much only OK luxury brand right now is Caddy and that's only when it comes to sedans. Their SUV's are terrible. Lotus is solid. Ferrari and Bugatti are overpriced as hell but good. Genesis will be great once cars go all electric. Others are not even with mention.
That Ferrari typo, though

Thanks man! It’s tough gaining traction on RUclips. Appreciate the comment and view
Cadillac in front of Lexus is crazzzy

Man put Bentley, cars with VW indicator stalks, in the same category as Bugatti.
🤣🤣 Bugatti is #1 fam

I don’t agree with Maserati because lately they are expensive for low quality
Definitely overpriced. Where do you think they would fall on the list?

Great video!
Tesla ain't luxury. It has the interior of a 2000's kia. Don't get me started on the panel gaps.
Ah yeah the panel gaps. That'a what i look for in a car. The panel gap width. Screw drievetrain, chassi and aerodynamics. Panel gaps is where it's at.

Aston Martin should be further higher
Are sports cars like Ferrari considered luxury? They have none of the features or comfort of luxury cars

I need clarification because I didn't put them in the luxury category. I'm not here to prove you wrong, this is an opinion piece lol
Vw in the same sentence as Infinity & Acura…!?!
Lexus might not be the most luxurious but they last twice as long and save gobs of money on maintenance
