    Charlie Minn has done several documentaries about mass shootings such as 77 minutes that covered the McDonald's shooting in 1984, 49 Pulses that covered the Orlando nightclub shooting, Parkland: Inside Building 12 that covered the Parkland school shooting, 915: Hunting Hispanics that covered the Walmart shooting, and many more. These documentaries give you a good insight of everything that transpired.

      @@ActiveAussie2024 He makes good documentaries people just don't like that the topic is graphic but that's real life it really happened it's not like he made all this up and made some CGI to show graphics stuff it's like people want to ignore it and act like it didn't happen versus addressing that understanding how bad it was and trying to come up with a solution

    • @ActiveAussie2024
      @ActiveAussie2024 8 месяцев назад +1

      @187mrsmith I agree with you. I think his documentaries are fair and balanced and they focus on the people directly involved, the victims ,with their permission, and also interviews with first responders.
      I think this is responsible film making. Better to show what really happens in graphic detail, or most people just forget about the shootings a week later and "move on".

    I almost died at the San Ysidro McDonald's that day, along with my mom, dad and little sister. My dad was going to meet up with my mom for some money because they were separating, and they were going to meet up at the McDonald's but met at the park across the street instead. I experienced death as well growing up but not up front like those kids. For example, I started elementary school when the shuttle challenger exploded, and my school was named after it and some of the kids from my class had relatives that were on that shuttle. Also, one of the kids in my elementary school died from one day to the next. All the kids knew her and all of a sudden, the teachers announced that she had died.
    I'm grateful these kids are alive, but this experience will only make them stronger. I grew up a very strong kid because I saw people die all around me, not to that extent but in a way that was traumatic for me to experience as a kid. It sucks that in the Mexican tradition, kids have to be so strong because they experience so many things that make them grow up so fast. The Mexican government is corrupt but for Mexican kids living in the United States, life is different because we are driven by love, emotions and our Mexican blood and we all stick together, no matter what. In the end, Mexican people are resilient.

      So you almost didn't die if you went to the park, you were only a child, and your parents probably didn't want to end their marriage in a busy McDonald's restaurant. A park across the street is a much more appropriate place to end a relationship. I can totally understand that, but I wouldn't claim to almost die. That would be a little exaggerated, extreme and over the top. The part about the government too. It's an excuse people give all the time. Even illegals complain about our government, but you don't see them leaving do you. Now the space shuttle, now that's way off topic, now it's pretty much story time. I can tell you a story about my uncle John, he was in the ARMY in Saigon Vietnam, he rescued Vietnamese children in a camp when his leg was blown off by a grenade, he works at IHOP now!! But I'm fine!!

    • @vladthe3impaler
      @vladthe3impaler Год назад +3

      @@gordsruby5963 It’s a good example of cause and effect. The butterfly effect. The consequences of our actions. Every action has a consequence and not all consequences are bad. If they were any closer to the McDonald’s or actually on the McDonald’s premises they likely would have got gunned down and slain. So in a way, he and his family did unknowingly avoid a gruesome death that day.

    • @gordsruby5963
      @gordsruby5963 Год назад +4

      @@vladthe3impaler Ah... well let's try out your "cause and effect theory shall we? The youtuber claims they almost died during the McDonald's massacre right? Mother, father and sister were all supposed to go to McDonald's, without money, because they needed to get money out, the parents were separating, so they decided to go to the park instead. Which makes perfect sense, they either didn't have the money, or the decided that "the park" was the more appropriate place. Now the part where the space shuttle challenger is thrown into the comment makes no sense, having a friend that knew people who died in the challenger, or the school the commenter attended was named after the challenger adding a childhood friend had died are all narratives that were thrown in like a story. Trying to make viewers believe they were around death, as perhaps the massacre was a part of their Destiny. I don't buy into the story I'm not easily fooled, I'm not gullible and I don't believe everything I see or hear on youtube. Believe in half of what you see and none of what you hear. Enjoy your day!

    I don't think interviewing these children at this time is helpful. It is retraumatizing. We all know what happened. There is no good from having the children recount this just to profit from it. Shame on these 'film producers'.

      You mess with Gods children you will burn. You can’t negotiate sin. The devil tricked him. God gained 21 souls and the devil gained one. But guess what it STILL means nothing to the devil. The shooter was tricked and lied to by the evil that contaminated his family and him in the end. Messing with Gods children is hands down a no from Heaven.
