So when I was in school, my school went on lockdown. It was halloween, and we were about to say scary stories. Then we heard the alarm. We shared a class with another class, so we opened the door and went in. I didn't know what had happened. When we went to lunch, we all sat in one side away from the outside door. You were right
@@DUTCHGAMERNL2 ik it sucks i go to skl where all of thats possible
I’ve never experienced a shooting. But when I hear these stories I immediately start crying because I feel so much like sadness and suffrage when people tell stories about how they were once like holding hands with someone and then an hour later they realized they couldn’t do that again. Those stories just turn me into a different person because I immediately feel unsecured and upset and worried when I’m usually happy and outgoing and positive. I also think about my 5th grade language arts teacher who was my favorite teacher and how she would care for every student and it was almost like she had a special connection to every single person she taught so when I think about her, I start thinking like what happens if something like a shooting starts happening and she’s not there to help me or if she’s affected by it because it just is the worst when you feel like your in danger and you want someone that you know can help you through the moment to be there but they aren’t. So I really feel some type of sympathy for the survivors and families of shooting victims and I just want to say how sorry I feel for them and how much it hurts not just the Family, but the person reading about it in an article or watching a video about it too because it really impacts the whole group wether they experienced it or not so I just feel so sorry for shooting victims who did not survive. I also I’m saying this to any shooters reading this because if there are any which is a slight chance, I want them to know that these shooting affect more than they think just like me and yet I don’t even know anyone who’s been in this situation and I’m crying just writing this so please be aware of this before you ruin more peoples lives. Think about how that might’ve been you or how it still could be you. Your whole family would be devastated. Not just that, but strangers like me who understand how the survivors and victims families felt when these situations occurred. If more people put their feet in another persons shoes, than this hopefully won’t happen as often as it currently is. Thank you for reading this if you did.

The fact that Americans actually need to have this conversation sumorizes the problems of this country
Not really school shootings happen everywhere. It sucks that people judge somthing or someone because it happens a lot its essentially a lot like racism yes a lot of americans have guns but not everyone who owns a gun is bad
Though shootings are more common in the US due to the lack of more extreme and protective rules
[REDACTED] or we could be like the Middle East where women aren’t allowed to walk around without covering their face. And we don’t own guns because of hunting but to defend ourselves from the government.
Thank God though, in my years of schooling in America I didn't ever have a school shooting. Where I school now though is much more strict, literally has barbed wires and guard with rifles and a metal detector. My school in America was literally like open to everyone. Anyone could come in through a window, though the main doors were locked till the office people buzzed you in.......sry 4 da long reply :/
@@willtindall8263 Yes, but school shootings are more common in the US. I do imagine though it is more due to the lack of gun safety. Most gun owners are good with the safety measures they put in place, but there are more cases of people either not being safe enough, or planning attacks in the US.
One time we were practicing for a lock down drill, and we lined up all of our desks at the door. The principal tried to get in, but she could so yeah our barricade was safe 😂😂😂
My school has had 2 school shooting threats and one kid brought an Airsoft gun to school, all this year. I don’t feel that safe at my school, of course the people who did the threats and brought the gun to school were expelled.
Also my french teacher was very calm during the airsoft lockdown, she looked out in the hallway multiple times and barricade then unbarricade the door.
Imagine walking into a classroom, expecting kids hiding under desks, but instead just getting a face full of glue sticks.
No offense or anything, but this made me laugh so hard that I choked.

She’s so positive. I don’t know what I’d do if something like that happened at my school. I would be so worried for my friends in other classes, but especially for my parents, who work there.
The fact that I pictured my entire college campus and possible escape routes I could take to get away while watching this... I hate that I even had to think about that. We need to do something immediately in this country to stop gun violence
Same here except looking at all possible escape routes at work. I was a manager at Walmart when all those walmart shooting happened In a short span. Were not safe anywhere if you really think about it.
I’ve never even considered a shooting could happen at my college. I get to my classes early and I’m usually one of three people in the building and it just freaks me out how.
"Have you ever heard 'Oh, that'll never happen here'?"
"Yes."
"Do you believe that?"
"No."
That was the saddest part to me for some reason. Such a young person to have already lost their trust in adults. I get that your country is super into guns, but the prize seems to have been traumatizing entire generations. At some point your entire population will have PTSD and they’ll have gotten it before their 9th birthday.
@@notcompletelynormal It isn’t the guns fault, it is the person who is using it.
@@rasputin6110 how about both?

Uh, yeah! She's a school shooting survivor who got shot TWICE! Listen to her advice!!!!
+RESPECT
exactly. what happened to her happened because she listened to the teacher's advice of "hide behind a desk and be quiet"
School shooter shot teacher first
Her advice is great. Not only for school Shootings. Whenever you're in danger, don't just trust blindly to superiors. Do what your (in that moment probably not well working) brain tells you to. Instinct is there for a reason. It's there to keep you alive.
Here May 25th 2022. Watching after the 28th school shooting in the US. Too many guns in the hands of private citizens. The babies should not fear getting shot at school.
This made me cry knowing that this could happen to anyone in school you never think it will happen but you never know. People need to take this more seriously especially the school board they need to find Bett ways to deal with a school shooting.

Elementary, Jr High/middle, and High school is hard enough to go through. Bullies, Rivalries, Teen angst in general, is stressful. And we all went through it. I cannot fathom adding getting murdered. I went to school to get away from a very physical and emotional home life. School was my safe place. And in jr high, I joined the school band. Literally, my two band instructors, my section leaders, and a lifelong crush of another person in my section, saved my life. Even the first day of high school, which is so stressful and awkward, was easier to deal with because the month leading up to the start of school, we were already attending summer band practice. So in the middle of the first day of a new year, I had an hour to literally breathe and feel like I went home. I’ll never forget it. Opening the door to the band room, the cold air hitting my face, seeing over 75 kids in controlled chaos, and having one of my fellow drummers laugh and make fun of my choice of new attire for the first day of school, usually complete with some type of projectile being thrown at my head. Me having to duck and retrieve it, to hurl back at them. Knowing 100% in my heart, that any one of those people in that room cared for one another and all kidding, wrestling, practical jokes were done with love.
Except for the flute players. Percussion and flutes just like oil and water. And everyone knows percussionists are alot more fun. Ha ha.

Same
Same xD
Same😂😂
Hud J same bruh 😂
I’m dead😂😂😂💀
I remember when I was in school I was so scared of this happening and every time I was in a different classroom I used to look for places to hide or to get out of there, which sucks to think about it
Thank you for her alive
It’s awful seeing children in America scared to go to school, in the uk we only have fire drills
It's almost funny how ignorant you are that you think terroist attacks and school shootings only happen in the U.S.
cofeebeans Never said that! Sadly terrorist attacks are unpredictable and happening everywhere, school shootings however are mainly an issue in the US
Maisie Prescott True! My work has had lock down drills, which is a good thing for sure and I agree even if guns aren’t so much of a fear over here, it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be prepared
we have a few different disaster drills (namely fire, tornadoes and earthquakes, as those would be most common in our area and our school is locate directly on a fault line), but lockdown drills are by far the most common one we practice. we had an assembly on shootings at the start of the year and teacher commentary on the classroom-specific procedure in each period.
Totally agree- at our school we've only had one lockdown drill and our teacher never called it that, we just had to turn off all the lights and hide against the classroom wall. Other than that we get plenty of fire drills, as well as the whole "Run, Hide, Tell" thing.
Hey maybe I don’t actually mind being home schooled.
Lol same
.yeahh same
I hate it lol
Yeah same
I mean you never know....
This made me cry😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
My school has adopted a new action focused approach to these situations, and we have all been trained on things like barricading and attacking instead of going into lockdown. We had a drill recently, and my older teacher yelled at us to get against the wall and be silent and go into lockdown. I have never felt so frustrated, she just didn’t understand the danger that she was putting us in. Her classroom is one of the most accessible (vulnerable) in the building and I don’t trust her to look after us if this happened to our school.
Everyone: throw your supplies
The quiet kid: nails him in the eye with a pencil
Headshot
I'm shoving my ruler down their throat 😌
hes using hax!
Quiet kid vs quiet kid
Um I’m an art student in school and I carry a pouch of really dangerous supplies like a sharp pencil and pen, pocket knife (usually sharpening pencils) and a few others and they could come I handy I gues
Did anybody else’s anxiety go through the roof
I didnt even notice my leg violently shaking untill i saw this
Mine went all the way to the moon
Mine was so bad that my dog came to calm me down and bringed me my blanket
@@binkaxo6197 oh wow, that's good that your dog knew what to do, but bad that it got that bad
That's what stuff like this is designed to do.
My heart goes out to anyone involved in any part of a shooting.
To those who survived and/or lost someone to a shooting: I hope you can make a full recovery. I hope you can feel happy again. I hope you can lead the rest of your life happily and gratefully. I am so, so, so sorry you had to go through that. I know it probably hurts, a lot, but I believe in you. You got this.
To those who passed away in or because of any type of shooting: R.I.P. You're missed. I am so sorry and I hope you're in a better place now.
To those negatively impacted by a shooting in any other way: I know this is scary, and many things in this world are, but I hope you can live at least somewhat happily. Just know your feelings are not invalid and it's okay to ask for help. Violence is scary and I hope you never feel so trapped that it's your last resort.
And finally to anyone who has or is thinking about shooting a school or any place: I am so sorry you feel like this is all you can do. I'm sorry about whatever hurt you. You didn't deserve that, but does everyone deserve to be negatively impacted because of that? I see your pain and I hope you can feel better. I hope you can find someone who listens. I hope you can find peace.
You got this everyone. There is someone who will listen, you just need to find them.
"Do you feel safe in school?" I just can't say yes to this anymore.
My school has around 200-300 people with considerable gun threats only every 3 or so years. I know there are many more death threats though. I try to keep my best social acts towards everyone, simply for the fear of life. Most recent threat happened to be about 2 weeks ago.
May peace be with all those who have died and their loved ones who have experienced shootings.
33 people died that day
R.I.P❤️❤️
Carolyn Pinho nope 17
That was just in her french class
May they be remembered and never forgotten
R.I.P
Respect to all those people
When the girl said “throw all your supplies at the shooter” all I can imagine is someone throwing their eraser and someone’s head 😂
Meanwhile me safe at home
I think of me putting siccoes in there eye
I would use pencils to stab there eyes
😂
Wait woah I’m famous y’all 😌 step out the way
This is such a hard topic to speak openly about, I live in the UK so we don’t get school shootings. Just the thought of someone coming in, watching that teacher and student get shot. The amount of trauma she must have faced; Schools need to do something about that, can we also appreciate that girl who spoke up about how being in a little bubble will just make it easier for the shooter to get too us, it proves my point on schools are so dangerous and you never know how wrong something can go. Creds to that woman for being so brave about speaking up! x❤
I’m not American, I’m English but this is so scary I feel so bad for those who live in unsafe countries and have lost someone/ experienced something as horrible as this :(
You have to be 20 years old to buy a normal hand gun. You have to be 18+ to buy an AR-15.
America explain.
Facts
Army at 18. Alcohol at 21.
What kind of analysis was made?
Adam Well here in Tennessee you can only purchase a handgun at 18 but you can’t even carry it around. It has to be kept in home. At 21 then you can get permit to carry.
Fun Fact: In Germany you can join the Army with 17. But you can't buy Assault rifles.
@@natbluecat5332 question: in order to learn to use it, can you carry that specific gun at the shooting ranges? Or you just have it there and learn how to use it with something provided there?
I can't imagine how hard it was to lose all your classmates/friends in one day and without warning
It’s possible others survived. She was shot and survived, I’m sure some of them unfortunately passed but some of them probably survived with her.
marmar 6_6 30 died
Wait I have friends at school
I meant u
At 0:56 I think it’s sweet that she’s asks for permission or just say If it’s ok to laugh about it 🤍
from a place where there was only 1 school shooting in history (nz in 1923) I am so entirely relieved that I don't have to worry about my school being shot but I feel so scared that someday someone might just have a bad day and do somthing like this and I cannot imagine what it's like to every year have to do a school shooting safety protocol and even have to witness or take part in a school shooting
She’s so brave for talking about something like this, I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for her
Idk she seems to have more of a proud warrior mentality
Bennet Russell Yeah she does, but it’s probably still very difficult for her
@@sodiumchloride8250 yeah
Yookie Cookie Yeah, that’s what I said, sodium chloride
@NaCl yessir
I remember a terrorist attack a school in my country in peshawar on 6th December 2014
So many kids died and some survived including a girl in 8th grade in my school
She was absent that day due to personal reasons and when she was told she was grateful for the fact she didn't go but also in shock so many died
We have a memorial every year on 6th December to support the kids who died only to gain education
I think that this is very good to have someone talk to these kids about this topic and let them know the details, I think that this is a very good video.
The fact that the shooter shot almost everyone is terrifying. We always think “if we just hide they won’t shoot us” or something but... just wow.
I always worry about that like what is hiding going to do? I mean its in school hours if it does happen are they suppose to think we arent there??
I’ve always planned to play dead. - Among all the other bodies they might not notice.
Ella Rose Vlog’s yeah. I always thought I would play dead, but honestly I might help fight. I love my friends and wouldn’t want to just let them die :(
the key is to hide in either the most obvious spot..or in the most least obvious spot...
Example, Hiding in a bin or a bush a way from school grounds
Other Example, hiding behind a door, or anywhere thats so dumb a killer wouldn't think your hiding there
@GamerCupcakegirl also if the shooter is at one end of the school they say they might have us go outside and run in the forest near my school which honestly isnt that smart because the shooter could also go outside
