She seemed such a lovely, positive lady. She doesn’t deserve Alzheimer’s (And just to clear it up, nobody deserves Alzheimer’s, I didn’t just mean this lady. But maybe if you think that playing a certain game means you deserve it, then you’re the 1% that does)
when the kid with that orange T-shirt started crying I lost it. Sweet to know that some kids really understand such important things and invest themselves emotionally
The little boy in the yellow shirt is an empath for sure. He's so tuned into her feelings. I'm amazed she can be so upbeat and positive knowing she has this horrible fatal disease and even be able to make jokes about Pac Mans eating her brain cells and becoming a baby again. She's a strong lady.
Cristian Coman what the heck? She’s a kid! And you are being rude? Look she’s very outgoing, which is a good trait. Thinking that you can bully a 8 year old is very stupid

For everyone looking for an update, I found an old article from 2019, where she’s still at an early stage and still fighting against Alzheimer’s! I feel like that sets a good tone for her current state!
You can tell that kid really thought about it and how she can't remember even her own friends names. He's one of the few kids who have empathy, it's really hard to find pretty much anyone with empathy for a complete stranger. Atleast not in the internet, pretty much everyone down here is sad for her.
my middle school religion teacher was telling us a story about an encounter with her dad in the past. her dad had alzheimers, and one time when she was visiting him and looking through old photo albums, he pointed to a picture of himself and said, “who is that man? tell me about him.” my religion teacher changed my life in so many ways, and she was the most genuine, kind, wonderful person i have ever met. she is the reason i got out of a depression. she worked so hard all the time, and treated her students with all of the respect in the world. i hope you all find a person in your life who changes you for the better, and inspires you to seek happiness. the best of wishes, your youtube friend genevieve
My boyfriends grandpa passed away two years ago right before christmas and when we visited him a few months prior he didn’t even recognize his wife in their photo albums from when they were in their youth and it was the saddest thing to see..

Sad to read that your mom has Alzheimer's disease. My dad had it. I was caregiver for him in my home for 2.5 years. Make sure you take the time to cherish the precious moments. Be strong.
You can’t really die directly from the actual thing going on in your brain but as you forget how to do basic daily tasks like walking and eating you can get a nutritional deficiency. Atleast from what I’ve heard correct me if I’m wrong

This approach to someone with severe Alzheimer's is wrongfully done. If they say something like "I went to the mall today" and they've already told you before, responding with "You've already told me that earlier" could upset them

She should do some research because that’s not true at all.
She’s so adorable and at peace with her circumstances it’s so heartbreaking 😩 my grandpa who I never met died of Alzheimer’s. Glad you’re bringing more awareness with this video

Oh the little boy with the yellow T-shirt made me almost cry ! What a sweet little boy ! Just the way he was looking at her with all the kindness and the innocence he got on his eyes ! I hope the lady will recover ❤
Anya Met The sad truth is one never recovers from Alzheimer’s, one only gets worse. The brain is destroyed bit by bit until eventually the part that controls breathing and other bodily functions is destroyed.. This lady, if she is still alive, likely is way more incapacitated now. I had two aunts who had Alzheimers and they didnt last more than five years after their official diagnosis.
Yeah the sad part is even if we find a cure it wont bring back whats already gone. Those parts of the brain that are already destroyed are gone forever all we can hope to do is prevent more of the brain from being taken.
the sad truth is that no one can really recover. they only get worse and worse until they die. it’s a slow process for my grandmother, but she’s at the point where she can’t remember people from out family, yet she still tries to stay so happy.

my middle school religion teacher was telling us a story about an encounter with her dad in the past.
her dad had alzheimers, and one time when she was visiting him and looking through old photo albums, he pointed to a picture of himself and said, “who is that man? tell me about him.”
my religion teacher changed my life in so many ways, and she was the most genuine, kind, wonderful person i have ever met. she is the reason i got out of a depression. she worked so hard all the time, and treated her students with all of the respect in the world.

She can’t recover, Though.
