So since there seems to be quite a discussion about the Titans. Here are some facts (This way people can stop spreading false information)
1) NVIDIA supplied me with all 3 of my Titans, not EVGA. It would cost EVGA much more out of pocket to send me the cards than NVIDIA.
2) I have no idea why NVIDIA denied sending more to Linus. My guess is NVIDIA was probably out of review samples. I had a meeting with NVIDIA in Los Angeles weeks ago where I pitched the idea of them sponsoring a completely overkill upgrade for Skunkworks as the PC represents my growth and passion for this genre.
Skunkworks has always been a constant reminder of how far the channel has come. They agreed to send me the Titans weeks ago, presumably before Linus asked. Either way, please stop making this about Linus vs Me, and like I said, EVGA was not the supplier of the cards.
Well said Jay!
*****You and Paul should pool the cards and see what a true overkill build can do.4 way SLI Titan X + 5x 1440 G-Sync monitor setup, please make it happen, as I know the 2 of you probally have that much hardware combined.
Odd Henning Nilsen how can you run 5 monitors? i thought the max was 4? but you can try 4way sli with 3x 4k panels...
Nvidia was probably afraid that Linus would leave the cards out in the rain....
Gershon Dharmanandan
The newst drivers has enabled us to use 5 monitors in a surround setup, it even lets ut plug in a 6th monitor, but it cant be a part of the surround setup (its more for monitoring other stuff, like your stream).

EVGA should hire you, Jay.
PSguy Mentalist As much as working for a company that I love like EVGA would be exciting, working for a company like EVGA while doing tech reviews would damage my unbiased reputation. :(
***** Damn, so I won't get my EVGA GTX TITAN J2C Edition..
***** No man. JayzTwoCents. You should hire them. lol
PSguy Mentalist There's a one (could be the only one for all I know) MSI R9 290X JayzTwoCents x Barnacules Nerdgasm edition.
Tumble Butt
Yeah but that's the only one..
The way you held the box in the beginning, made my heart almost stop pumping. Man, if that thing fell of the box.......
95btkh That thing was seriously suction cupped closed... wasnt going anywhere lol
***** I mean when you had the front cover open. :O
95btkh It wouldn't break if it fell man
95btkh So did he.
Dude, I'm really loving the new path your taking with doing reviews.
Its adding a flavour of character to it, keep up the good work man.
I like how Linus is getting a 'NO' on his second titan x request, while Jay gets send like 2 more without a problem xD
The no was direct from nvidia, he got another one from EVGA.
He bought them I believe.
alcowherd7 ok :D
He has a video up on that Vessel site with SLI titans
MefCRO Yup, EVGA sent those 2 to him for loaners
How'd you get 124% power limit?
My 980 Hybrid is maxed out at 110%
I recently discovered your channel, and I really, really hope it grows to millions of subscribers, cause you make awesome reviews Jay, regards from México.
Lovin' the new music and your little blurb about Fractal Design. Quiet explosion, lol.
Notice me Jay senpai..
1524mclovin You are noticed.
^_^
I wonder if Jay gets selected cards from EVGA, which perform better on OC...1600 MHz is insane!
Attila theHun Nope, because I have gotten both great overclockers, and duds. One of the 780s I was sent was absolute crap. So is one of the 980s in Skunkworks.
OK, thank you for clarifying!
I like how you keep your ads kind of funny, they don't bother me at all that way :)
-like really quite explosions :D
Your live review's are actually the best out there. Kepp it up Mr.Jay!!
Jay got three titans???? HAHHAAH Linus only got one!
And another from EVGA
True but only one from nVidia :)
***** lol
They won't send 2 titan's to Linus, but they did to you... ? Hmmmm
They sent Jay 3.
Wow, even more! They can also send one to me, lol :p
Didn't jay buy 2 of his?
TGHstudio One for me too X'D
Oh, that would change it...
Damn man, just the difference from December has shown. Your weight-loss is coming along great keep up the good job, we all proud you
Everything about this *Channel* is fantastic.
Wait? NVidia refuse to give a 2nd titan x to linus but they give you 2 more? Haha that is nice for you ;)
hahaha I know but Jayz says nVidia ?
***** This is completely false. NVIDIA gave me the cards, not EVGA. Please dont make assumptions, because thats how false info is spread.
Ugo Filion he bought the other 2
Read the comments below -.-
Any hint about the price ? 700$ ?
520 usd
***** $649 USD on the EVGA website.
www.evga.com/products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-1989-KR
David Padilla That's actually okay.
***** why will it be 1k? You only getting a liquid cooler added to it
***** evga is the same price as the other 980 cards, only one is more is the classfield for good reason through.
Great video as always Jay!
Was waiting for a product like this, I've wanted to have a water-cooled gpu for a while, thanks Jay!
Am I the only one in this community that still appreciates 1080p 30fps? :)
Yes... Yes you are! Lol
why 30 lol
***** I believe he means videos, not games
***** ah
***** 1080p 30fps or 60fps youtube videos dont have a lot of difference right? But with gaming it definately does.
How is Unemployment treating you Jay?
He's currently still employed for now
AbstractGaming Im not unemployed, I still have to fulfill my 2 week notice.
He still has his job he is done in April.
LUCKYJ3SS3 Look at his previous video, he explains everything
*self employment
Hey Jay, I really like the new format keep up the great work!
Very nice review Jay,I really enjoyed watching, looking forward to more..
Awesome video! The fractal plug was great!
Liking the live benchmark tests Jay!
Jayz you rock! Good informative reviews with good taste for occasional funny comments makes yours videos very entering to watch. Best wishes! :)
MAN i love your reviews!
Jay this was one of your best video ever! It was very funny!
I think live benchmarks is great concept and it really brings something interasting to it. Keep it up.
So great to finally see a cooler like this from Team Green!
Nice lip hole Jay, I can see a lot of detail on my 4K Vizio through youtube now. Thanks to you for that choice. That was a great early access video on the 980 hybrid. Have a nice day, dude.
Very nice! Watercooling where it makes sense, thanks evga, you da real mvp
Great one man :)
Keep up the good work !
Funny, interesting and informative video Jay! :)
I stopped the vid at 0:53 I seen the progress that you went through you LOOK AWESOME JAY!! Such a transformation wow wow! Oh the gpu was good too ;)
Nice video jay keep it up!
I love the live review!
Jay, if you looked at you on december YOU SEE SO MUCH CHANGE! In my eyes! Its so much diffrence
I picked one of these up off marketplace and I find it still manages to do a great job with a lot of modern titles. I upgraded to a 360mm rad and easily hold 32*C at idle and about 62*C under load using 3Dmark.
I don't know if you read this, but THAT was a nice ad for the Define R5. That was much more "your style" than the boring product ads you did before! Way to go Jay
very nice video Jay!
Hey Jay just want to say thanks for making the jump and being a full time content creator.
damn men i love your gpu vidz great to watch keep on the good work :p
My T3i has done that a few times - I'm pretty sure it's just one of the micro-switches on either the battery door or the SD card door not being flipped right. It should work again eventually.
YES!! More cards need to be like this!!
that back plate looks amazing!
Awesome card Jayz!
Ofcourse, you choose what you want to talk about, keep up the great work! :)
Sweet deal!! Love the design!
Totally agree with your single card water cooling suggestion.
Jay, been a fan for a while now. Been running two reference 980's since a month after they launched. Never been able to comfortable hold a higher clock than 1351mhz due to power limit and having to run the fan at max to keep it cool enough. Just ordered a couple of these cooler kits used off amazon almost 2 years later. I'm excited to see how much farther I can push my cards and how much more performance I'll be able to squeeze out of them. I'm running a 4770k@4.5ghz and the two nvidia branded reference cards. Can't wait!
I love the video and I can see the hard work you put in dude. What is the motherboard and cables in your test bench?
Very Nice review! :D
I love the look of this card, thinking of saving up and buying one :D
Just picked this sexy beast up from NewEgg @ $666.50. Thanks for the review and the 'over-the-shoulder' overclock testing. Thanks for your dedication and for making my purchase decision an informed decision.
lov the live bench marks
love the livet benchmarks
***** When you went to that other video from December the only thing that I could think was "Holy shit you lost some weight!" Good job Jay! Keep it going man.
Love your vids thank you
Wow amazing, I would LOVE it if they would release a kit for the Titan X sometime in the future!
Great review. Awesome card.
You are the man Jay. Im about to install this card, well , the 1080ti hybrid, and i needed to know if i should redo the paste, and throw on one of my unused Noctua 120mm NF-f12 PWMs.
Hey Jay, do you hae a Depreater rig with an nvidia quadro or something for video editing?
Great video as always!
Im not a Green fan but I want!
@JaysTwoCents
I love the wall shelf over your right shoulder ;)
How about hooking the 120mm Rad to the Titan X to see what kind of temps and / or overclocks you can get?
evga is my favorite gpu brand maker thing.. and for good reasons! holy ballz this card is so awesome!
interesting video.
good thing i stumbled upon this today :)
i have 2 lil questions:
is it a huge temp difference compared to other air cooled cards? + i guess in a closed envirement you could add around 5-10°?
btw could you say what keybourd is in front of the monitor?
I will be buying two of these for my new x99 rig!!
really like the live stuf ;)
Keep doing this cool videos. YOu are cool!!
Love it, it looks great. I do wish there was a 240mm radiator option though.
Jay, I really wish you ALL the best with RUclips. You are amazing, funny and very interesting to watch! Keep em videos up!
How long are the water lines on the card? Could you run them to the front of a case?
Nice Video Jay, can you tell me what settings you used on Valley? Thanks
Ordered 2 kits for my reference cards :D
Nice video, wish you would put up some graphs though of default settings/temps and the overclocked settings/temps though. Visuals are always nice.
Two videos in one day 👍👍
Jason Hughie No, one was yesterday and one was today :)
Beautiful card, If i didnt have a watercooling setup i would have defo bought this.
Nice thing by EVGA :) I have GTX 780 Ti on EK water block and getting 81 FPS in Valley Extreme HD preset :P And btw your channel is awesome Jay.
***** Hey man nice video. I have a little question that isnt related to the video. How do you go about cleaning all your 10+ fans on your main rig? Do you just take em all out every time they get dusty? Thanks:D
and you are my favorite youtuber :)
great video Jay keep it up I hope AIO gpu cards grown in types and numbers
Would you do a beginners water cooled pc build and what case you would use.
Good job toots
THATS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR !
i love this 980... i bought MSIs 970 :'( (its a great card)
I smashed that like button to death... now it's injured lol, great video!
Hey Jay, what quality settings did you use for this test on Valley? I see you used 1440 but what about the other settings? I would love to know just so I can do a comparison with my card. Thanks Jay!
When you showed that old footage I really noticed how much weight you have lost. Well at least in your face. Way to go!!!
What is the keyboard on your test bench? It looks freakin cool and I want one.
I can't wait to see you putting a water block on the titan x, I think I might do that to mine when I get it, I need fast rendering, but not the heat coming from the stock cooler
Hi Jay, Should I upgrade my Spectrum ZX81 ?
I usually don't like or trust anything with a closed loop water cooler but this card looks very interesting. I would love to take it apart.
Already :D dude you keep your word. Mad respect
ricardo medrano Our words are our greatest assets.
***** I don't think as men that words are our greatest asset.
I wonder, would SLI work with such a model? Considering that it connects to the fan that you put in the back of the case, there's only room for one there...
lol that "it has a back plate" had me laughing so hard!
Very cool review Jay! This is card is your brain child as thought up by EVGA.
Jay have a live stream were you overclock the the card to its max to see how far it will go!
I can see that you are owning this full time thing.
I love the fact that they are selling the cooler on its own. Not because I'm personally going to use it but because it's a great gateway into watercooling gpus.
If you please. How would you rate the audible levels of the pump compared to somthing like the h100i or swiftech 220x during idle and during gaming. Thank You
Jay, why every damn time you review something I want to go buy it?! XD
