This is way better than "Pimp my Ride". Makes more sense, too. In a local car show I saw the KIA EV9. With turnable seats so that one parent can sit facing back in direction of the kids and have direct interaction. I know that's a new and expensive car but I'd love to see this or similar mods in that kind of car. Like using the cars 230v or 12v system for the entertainment, adding a proper screen to the root, putting 3rd party solar solutions on the roof, etc. But great video 🙂
I love how you are spouting all kinds of technical terms your kids dont seem to understand but you kind of have to explain it for the audience, quite funny to me
I imagine the kids are used to their dad spewing white noise when talking about tech again. Then again, they seem genuinely curious and might pick up more than we realize. Maybe they do understand half of it. Also, if asking a question and getting a boring white noise answer, why ask another question, and another? Maybe they really do want to know.
There's also the time my parents said the ride was too short to put music on, so me and my siblings (there's four of us) spent the next half an hour singing 'the song that gets on everybody's nerves' nonstop. I'm pretty sure we had music on the drive back.
I think Linus mentioned on a WAN that his son tried to explain that number (or the weed number) to him as "it's a meme, it's funny but nobody knows why" Long may that continue.

I love the Linus family content. It really shows how good of a dad Linus is, and the team (including the little ones) works well together.
For cooling, most vehicles have their pressure vents located in the “trunk” area, that could be used to exhaust the heat.
Wow, it just hit me that we've seen Linus's kids grow up on this channel. They are all so big time flies. Great video 😊
I never realized that Linus's kids look like if him and Yvonne had kids
That's because they are kids that are his and Yvonne's
That is infact how genetics works.
😱 YOU’RE RIGHT!!!
LTT watcher discovers genetics
They are beautiful kids. Most often mixed couples had cute kids, mostly because they look less like their white parent. Mixing is good and healthy for the gene pool!
Linus in WAN show: "I don't want my kids getting too spoiled..."
Linus on main videos: "My kids can't go on a roadtrip without a full 3-monitor gaming den!"
I don't know man, that's not really spoiled. Like spoiled kids would have uncontrolled access to their devices. Linus could just shut the PCs down if the kids misbehave or something like that
They're in an old minivan playing together on a single PC, it's not a private jet with individual ipads and a theater.
To be fair, the kids were involved in building this, so they learned something and will value it more
@@Abdullx200this very much. And the computer's config and content are easier to manage, and the screen is always visible for spot checks. That's one of the things I really like about how he has the family computer room set up.
The little sebastians are so cute 😭
little sebastians 😭
love these kids they just ask about anything and everything its great
I actually do like that Justin listened to what Linus wanted done not how he wanted it done and gave a better solution. That can get you into trouble but in most cases that's a damn good attribute.
Reminds me of road tripping down the west coast with my family back in 2003. My dad fabbed up a portable 10ish inch 480p screen to mount on an Original Xbox. Looked like a ridiculous laptop!
Many hours playing Fusion Frenzy and Midtown Madness in the back of my parents Doge Caravan. Good memories!
Now, 2 decades later, just took a flight & enjoyed Red Dead Redemption on my Steam Deck. As cool as that is, it will never be as cool as my dad’s jerry rigged OG Xbox setup.
This is the most wholesome content I think I have ever seen on RUclips. You can truly FEEL the wholesomeness coming right through your screen!
Alex definitely trying to score the "Cool Uncle that let's you destroy your parents stuff" point 😂
as someone who cheers his niece's to play with SIL's makeup I love it 😂❤
2:33 the boy saying please quietly, then the girl hearing him so she says it louder which gets her chosen over him.
So sad.
11:12 man if i have kids in the future im looking forward to these moments, teaching them about stuff you are interested in and them just absorbing it.
Loved these moments with my dad.
If only all family content on YT was this wholesome, hope you and your family have a great time on your trip Linus!
Wow, I don't know why but I loved how cute and wholesome this one was. It seems so cold to put it this way, but the charisma of Linus, Alex, and Linus' kids energy working together is so strong.
I noticed the sneaky editing @24:17 There is "camera movement" added to a cropped image to make it feel more authentic. Really good editing and nice added effect.
The love you have for your family is awesome and I feel like your crew is like uncles to them .. they will learn so so much from you all
I love how you are spouting all kinds of technical terms your kids dont seem to understand but you kind of have to explain it for the audience, quite funny to me
I imagine the kids are used to their dad spewing white noise when talking about tech again.
Then again, they seem genuinely curious and might pick up more than we realize.
Maybe they do understand half of it.
Also, if asking a question and getting a boring white noise answer, why ask another question, and another? Maybe they really do want to know.
IN MY DAY KIDS HAD ONLY VIOLENCE AND BOOKS TO OCCUPY THEMSELVES!
There's also the time my parents said the ride was too short to put music on, so me and my siblings (there's four of us) spent the next half an hour singing 'the song that gets on everybody's nerves' nonstop. I'm pretty sure we had music on the drive back.
Lookin' out the window and old cassette tapes were the entertainment provisions. 😅
Future is here OLD MEN!!!😂
Now theres melatonin pills.. and you can put in their juice box..
And sometimes books weren't available.
the struggle to not say 69 about the solar panels charging had to be real
Nnnnnnow look at that!
Knowing when and where to make that obvious joke, is a sign of maturity.
I think Linus mentioned on a WAN that his son tried to explain that number (or the weed number) to him as "it's a meme, it's funny but nobody knows why" Long may that continue.
@@Metal_Maxine Tbf, the 420 meme is mostly funny to me because... Godwin.
( yeah I know it's not supposed to be about that birthday, but it still makes me chuckle wryly)
Man, I follow Linus since he was closer to his son's age. It warms my hearth, really beautifull thing to see happen, such beautuful kids, and a great family.
More family content. U have such a beautiful family. reminds me of my siblings growing up
“If that isn’t the chunkiest puck I’ve ever seen” - Linus that’s the most Canadian thing I’ve heard yet 🤣
Watching this, I just remember a comment from Linus on the WAN show about how proud he was of his seat covers because he had managed to keep the van's interior in perfect condition even with three kids...
11:40 lol classic. what's this? what's that? what's this? gotta learn all the new things
As a former Honda tech who accidentally exploded every airbag in a customers car, i appreciate you unhooking the battery.
Linus and Yvonne's kids should be credited (even if just with pseudonyms or "Kid X") as hosts at the end IMO! They put in the work!
Seeing Linus working on car stuff with a big heart and the family reminds me of working on cars and trucks as a kid with my dad. The engagement and clear, simple instructions from Linus is a lot like how my dad would show and teach things. Brought back good memories I forgot over time. Thanks LTT, much love ❤
@3:56 I also may have giggled at poopy cables
i read this with peter griffin voice
My dude really said castle crashers in the year 2024, I love it.
Castle crashers is eternal
As a parent (and a middle child)... you picking the one child who said please made me very happy.
Linus’s family is so freaking wholesome! I love these videos!
The kids earned their fun by helping, very wholesome.
3:28 aww, parent-child love is always lovely to see
Did his wife have an affair like 3 times in a row? Those kids look like paid actors lmfao
@@yikes710 lol i think they're just a little shy in front of a camera
linus having his kids in these videos is so wholesome. he seems like a great father
A machinist tip for straight tapping: make a metal block with different holes for each size of tap you want to use manually, will make the tap go straight everytime, no fuss. saves a lot of frustration from happening.
This is sick to see. Throws me some personal nostalgia too! My dad, my brother and I were the first people to put a xbox (first generation) into a Semi-Truck for a Semi-Truck Convention in the early 2000s.
The lastborn is such a giggly bundle of joy😊😊 And the middle child is well... a middle child🙂
That’s mean
@@TRT_1000 I'm willing to hear a second opinion
@@KevwePatani the middle child in this video did nothing to make this dumb insult reasonable. Everyone is made different, and judging someone for order of birth is unreasonable.
@@TRT_1000 This is textbook projection. As I said before I'm willing to hear a second opinion and then I'd reconsider my comment
If you are a middle child or know any you'll be aware of the vibe that they give. I did not mean anything derogatory or insensitive, I only typed out an observation.
Thank you for caring
@@KevwePatani I have a middle child brother. They do not have a particular “vibe” that qualifies for celebrating the youngest more than the middle.
I love Linus family content, not only because it's sweet seeing how he interacts with and teaches his kids in a really patient, sweet and fun manner but also how polite and inquisitive the kids are, they're going to be SO knowledgable in tech as they get older (just got to 12:00 - and there's soo much tech and doodads questions like 'What's that?' 'Whats that do?' And after Linus gives a full detail answer as if an employee who's already knowledgable and just has a gap in their knowledge they ask 'Why?') - then you have Alex who's like the cool crazy uncle who'll turn up to the barbecue and ask "Who wants uncle Alex to teach them how to plasma cut?!" 😂
Hopefully Linus doesn't drop the mini van
spoiler alert : he did
I understand why Linus got a CEO to take over for him now. More time with that amazing family
I love how the kid just says what
"I have a small problem". Yeah, height 😂
gotem
zing!
we talking about the vertical height or the below height?
R E K T
Why you do unc like this
I love that after years of Alex and Linus chaos, they found the ultimate way to add more chaos... children. xD
I love how the kids start giggling at the simplest things, it's so adorable.
The family build vids are always good fun. Nice seeing how much the kids like helping out. But it's probably good Linus got fixed. If he had another one now, it's first words would either be segue or sponsor.
Linus kids are lucky, when I was 2 back in 2002 this was my dream ride. Long distance drive, chill in the backseat and what not.
Now as an adult I can only just watch
04 explorer had a TV, plugged in a ps2...coolest shit ever
