@@josephpeters2619 There were a few models that looked like that that supported TDM. Once the retina 5K iMac was introduced they no longer supported TDM, but the 5K used the same chassis as some earlier iMacs that did.

Like I have DDR4 not before I like it, but because the smaller motherboards for my Tower100 case with DDR5 went WAY over budget for me, so I had to reuse half of my old DDR4 with a cheap mobo and ONE DAY I will get a proper DDR5, but for now, I manage "as is".

I love my setup even though its old as hell it can still game at 60 fps in any game at my monitors resolution of 1360x768. Linus's videos make me genuinely sad i cant afford the new stuff but i'm thankful i have what i do. I'm fortunate to even have a gaming rig and to not be stuck on console.
I had that exact buzz lightyear figure growing up, sadly it was in a flood when I was a kid, found out when I was 20 my aunt kept it in her basement for almost two decades, fixed it up and lost it in a move but it was a lovely hit of nostalgia to see it here.

Start a tech business. I regularly have to dispose of trucks full of old pcs and crap. Seriously, I gave away like 25 computers this year with 8th gen intel cpus.
When I was working at a company building computers (Evesham Micros, they were shit), I wanted to build a spare PC that I could use to browse the internet when I was bored, but I was limited to only the parts that weren't on stock, ie whatever I could find lying around that had been forgotten about. That was a fun day or so, sneaking around when I was supposed to be working. (More fun than screwing harddrives into sleds for a 32 bay NAS anyway)
It was a close game but I gotta give it to Linus. Not only did his gameplay look better but the sound systems are galaxies apart. Yes, having a boombox as your gaming speakers wins you a ton of style points. But you lose just as many points when you hear it. Oh plus I think Linus’s setup was a little more sleek and looked more like battle station I’d be happy to sit at for hours on end.

back when i started in the computer biz.. yes 1992.. i did PC hardware for a few years... i collected a warehouse full of crap.. way way more than what i see linus got here.. about 2004 or so, i was done with PC stuff except for myself.. i had moved on to networking/servers/etc back in 1998.. so i had a neighbor who wanted me to teach him "what i knew about computers" so i told him to get a big uhaul and meet me at the warehouse.. i gave him all of it.. ALL of it.. i told him this is how i learned.. cept I didn't have the internet.. the guy now has one of the biggest/best computer stores/services in his area.. this guy was working in a home depot when i met him.. now he's wealthy and prosperous.. i like to think i had a pretty important hand in his journey..
