Holy Crap the view out of that cockpit 😎👍
Stunning view outside AND inside the cockpit!
THE MUSIC AT THE END OF THE VIDEO SO BEAUTIFUL. LOVE IT.
"Rusty" Pilot here, flying again after too many decades away. Great to follow the flight, the Diamond is an aircraft I'm hoping to get a few hours in...we'll see. For now it's back in a 172 with CFI, knocking the rust off.
From a Londoner, it’s cool to see you flying a Diamond. Keep up the awesome content
Love watching these ferry flights, can't wait to see day 2! Totally relate to what you said about just going to the hotel, offloading footage, and laying in bed after a long day of flying - I never have any energy after flights like that. Doordash and bedtime for me LOL
Thanks Stevie!! 😄 exactly lol there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes
cant wait to see Hayley ferry a DA62 back from CYXU...go girl
Great job! Love your relaxed attitude. Safe flying and thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the ride Hayley.
Great video…the views on the approach to Lexington did not disappoint! Thanks for taking me along 🤗
So, so jealous. I flew a DA40 once out of Roanoke, VA. Fell in love. Was doing 45-deg 360s with ZERO vertical deviation from the get-go. That WING! Power-off stalls were a dream; power-on with a little wing-drop but not bad. What a joy to fly. You've got a good gig there, young lady.
What an incredible flight due to the weather conditions, the landing to the final destination was beautiful with green fields and the sky opening up with the shining sun showing the horizon ahead. It must be an emotion that you feel every time you take off to a different place. It was a great video that I just watched.
Thanks for sharing all the best and very well documented
Just watched. It's not hard to spot a class act you would trust with your family. Thank you.
Many good takeaways from this video regarding flying and avoiding active threatening weather with backup plans and alternate routes pre-planned. Great explanation of the whole process for those wanting to learn all about flying like me. I may never get the opportunity but it sure is fun to learn about it and fly along with fantastic aviators such as yourself!
In 1996, I got a tour of the Diamond factory, a brief checkout, and then ferried a brand new DA20 Katana to Tucson, AZ. What an adventure!
Love Diamonds. Nice first day. BTW, thx for answering the question about the Debonair vs Bonanza.
Love this channel - a breath of fresh air.....
As (new) DA40 owner of course this was going to pop up for me. Loved it. It is surprising to me that the Diamond does get slow quickly without power. I am used to the PA28 or C172 sinking vociferously without power (which has its own charm) but this is new fun.
Diamond... what a good name for an absolute gem of a plane
❤❤ so much grace and Beauty!
Beautiful plane and pilot. Love watching dreams well executed ❤
Hello Hayley from Prescott Arizona thank you for sharing this information and nice video with us and as fly safe and please keep making your videos
Your living my dream Hayley, great videos, keep them coming, and good luck with all your endeavours
Great to see you in a Diamond again
Your very soothing to listen too. Great aircraft 😊. Thanks
love this and look up to your videos so much! training and have my checkride in a bunch of premiers da40ng's in FL :) the tundra looks sweeeet!
Great video. I drive by the Diamond plant frequently on my way home from work. I used to enjoy flying DA20s out of YXU after I got my commercial. Keep the blue side up.
This little aircraft has a lot of good stuff built in. Looks like a nice ride too.
Its the same factory during WW2 where DeHavilland Mosquito bombers were built and prior they repaired Avro Ansons, Lysanders reconnaissance planes and Fleet Finches (trainers). London Ontario Airport also has one of the best airshows in North America!
Now there is a challenge for Hayley. Fly a Mosquito. I think she would love it.
Very interesting. Thanks for that little piece of historical insight.
That windshield is AWESOME!!!!
Always excellent videos Haley..
Enjoyed the video! Time well spent.
great video - enjoyable. Watching from Oregon!
Nice to see another aviation content creator in the London area!😎 Great content, keep it up!
Welcome to KLEX I’m a 54 year old student pilot. I fly out of KLEX over on the west side. The track you flew over was Keeneland, to your north east I’d the training track at Calumet Farm. Enjoy the bluegrass state.
Hi Hayley Herberg, So nice to meet you. My congratulations on your successful flying by DA 40 Tundra Airplane from a Diamond Factory. Hayley you proved that you are a wonderful pilot
Interesting aircraft ... love the cockpit and parked next to tanker 69 , ha haa !! Thanks for sharing Haley !
Enjoyed your trip, really interesting what you do.
Good morning Hayley. Hope you have a safe flight.
I enjoy the videos a lot! also, KLEX is where I did my very first landing, cool to see the pov from another plane
Not a pilot - but I'm aware of a professional when I see one. A real pro - fun to watch and learn.
great video - thanks
Loved it. My son lives 3 miles from the bluegrass field. Also Lexington was my first cross country.

Haha my friend from flight school sent me this video and I remembered you 🤣 that was me fueling your plane in Charleston, I’m glad I could help! I thought you and your plane were both super cool. :)

This is the first, pre subscriber, video suggested to me. What ever you did with the meta data seems to be working on this one.
You would forget fuel or oil before your snacks …it’s a must 😎
What a cool job.
First video I have watched on your channel. Great radio and flying skills. You have a new subscriber 👍🏻✈️🇺🇸
Nice job. Regards from UK.
I spent a week up there at the Diamond factory to get my mechanics' certification for the DA-20 & -40 back in 2005.
DA20 and especially the DA40NG is great plane to fly. I love the autopilot too 🙂
Awsome views 😊
Use to deliver a/c for a broker back in the 90's /early 2000's . Some of the funnest flying i've ever done but never got to fly a brand new one from the factory. What a great adventure!!!
Well done Thumbs up 👍
Very professional.
Wow wee ! What a pretty pilot, she's lovely. Nice personality with an interesting and pleasant presentational style.

Hi Hayley. This is the second ferry flight of yours I have followed. I am very much liking your video and the Diamond models. A word of caution for you from my optometrist and a good friend who has retired as a pilot with the US navy. Wear good sunglasses as much as possible. UV affects your eyes as much or more as your skin. With the design of the Diamond, it allows a lot of sunlight to enter. My friend, the pilot, said it was mandatory as a navy pilot for him to wear sunglasses where ever possible because of the risk of eye damage.
I understood that pilots should not wear polarized sunglasses but be sure to wear pilot’s sunglasses. If the cockpit has digital instruments as the polarized glasses will greatly obscure the visibility of the instrument cluster. I don’t know if modern instruments have compensated for this.
Not true, I’ve been flying for nearly 40 years (career coming to a compulsory end next year) and I never wear sunglasses, the most I’ll do is wear tints if I’m landing or operating into sun but never at any other time.
Always surprised with US VFR pilots claiming to be too high on final, whereas they’ll end up in people’s backyards if they lose their single engine on short final on an ILS glideslope. Here in Europe, flight schools will teach us VFR descents so a to reach the RWY in case of engine failure. Now, when on instruments, clearly you have no choice…
You did have some weather that day. That weather did drop a Tornado. Enjoyed the flight.
KCRW is such an interesting airport, cool that you ended up there.
I miss flying into Charley West…let’s go Mountaineers!
Very Gorgeous and Professional great video❤.
Lexington, Keeneland race track, Horse Farms
You a an absolute doll!
Thats a very nice looking pit
AWESOME VIDEO 👍👌✨
LOVE it ✨✨✨
Awesomeness girrrl😮😂❤good job👍🏽💪🏽💕
Hi Hayley, what a dream of a job. I’m so jealous!
New subscriber fun to watch. Thanks for bringing us along.
Beautiful flying and so relaxed. Once done flying to aviation runways, head for those in Milan Hayley, if you get my drift. ;-) Take care.
Looking good Hayley!! - TigerJ
Hayley, you're such a fun person to fly with :) Love the smile and cool confident attitude. How long have you been flying?
It’s been a little over 4 years now!
@@FlywithHayley Awesome, love the energy. Looking forward to watching your continued growth and adventures :)
Inspired by your professional demeanor. It's how all Part 91 pilots should comport themselves.
Just found you, very entertaining, Thanks
i just got back from a flight from detroit metro to nashville to dallas it was a bumpy flight coming home from texas to nashville.
Man, I love diamonds aircraft. Hello from Phoenix Arizona I used to fly a D4 out of Scottsdale. Thank you for the video. Also a very pretty lady.
Beautiful Pilot!!! Keep the blue side up! I am now a subscriber...
Awesome! Hayley Herberg
First time on your channel, can you give us some background on your flying career like where you went to school and how many hours you’ve flown.
Confident and stunning
Cool airplane. I didn’t know about Diamond Tundra. I have large tires and gravel guards on my Cessna 206. I land at BLM and foret service airstrips in Montana, Idaho and Utah.
“I have an autopilot!😂” i felt the same way with my C206. First personal plane I’ve owned with autopilot. The Boeing’s I flew had it. Not the Beech 1900 at my second commuter job.😢
Never turn down a few extra gallons of fuel. Can only have too much if you’re on fire!😂
I start lookin for FUEL at quarter tank in ANY THING ;)
Some cookout view!
First flight followed, enjoyed. Thank you. Follow more. Regards, phil, Suffolk U.K. 🇬🇧
