Hi Hayley, so nice to see you in living color! Been following on IG for a while now. Personally, I love ‘day in the life’ videos! Not sure how other people feel about them, but you’ve got a fan in me. OneThreeQuebec is a beautiful plane, love the colors! I soloed in a C150 so many years ago, 1976 to be precise. These days I get my aviation fix from watching people like you. Thanks for taking me along on today’s adventure 🤗
Can’t wait to see what airplane you chose! I’ve had several and each one has been special to me. And yes, I get teased about changing into PJ’s immediately when I come home each day. I don’t care. I just do me😇
Hi Hayley, I love your videos! I have been a pilot since 1978 and love watching aviation videos. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into your daily life. I really wish someone would have talked about sun protection while flying. We do get exposed to more UV rays while flying. I ended up with skin cancer although not Melanoma so not as bad. (I'm not blaming it on flying but I'm sure the extra exposure didn't help) Those hints you give might help someone someday. Enjoy your time in the air and stay safe!
Awesome vid Hayley.......I soloed in 5 and a half hours back in 1965 (yeah, I'm an old guy now) but still remember how fantastic is was. I wish you well and hope you have many students fall i love with flying. God bless
Nice one Haley! I intend to do the same thing you are doing so you are a few steps ahead of me. Intend to relocate to the Miden/Garnerville area from Fair Oaks CA at some point also.
My first plane was a 1968 172 bought right after I got my license in 1983. $12k! Moved up to a 177 for aerial photos job. Glad you're back on your feet. Good luck w instructor work!
Only one English muffin to eat that is Thomas. Didn’t know they had sourdough. I’ll have to look. Question are u instrument rated? Wondering since all are VFR flights. Good video thanks for doing them. I fly a 160 Cherokee out of KIPT 😎
Hi Hayley. I just subscribed to your channel. The area you live in is beautiful. I was stationed at Beale AFB for about 6 years and my family and I used to head up to Tahoe when we had the opportunity. I have been retired from the Air Force for several years now. It was interesting to hear you are a CFI. I have been thinking about getting my sport pilot license. Was just curious if you instruct for that license? What are your thoughts on the sport pilot license? Please let me know if you can. Again, thank you for sharing your excellent videos..
I’m a Big Egg Person…I think it’s Important to have Eggs of some sort for Breakfast, they are Good for your Eyes & Brain. They give things that you can’t get from Vitamins. The Doggos were giving you Confidence and Emotional Support! Yep PJ’s or Sweat Pants of some sort First thing when Work Clothes come off. You Living in both Florida and Nevada…are Good No State Income Tax States. Keep Up The Great Content Hayley!
Is the ferry pilot gig something you get to do while building your hours? Can you do a video on your journey from zero hours? Wanting to start my PPL and then on to commercial, but it seems CFI is one of the very few gigs left to build hours from 250 to 1500+ and go play with the big boys.
Just a little piece of advice that is worth exactly what it cost. If you manage to get your commercial, and then consider doing ferry work, think about what you are doing. Not all ferry work is picking up a new airplane and taking it to its first owner. Instead of three hours on the tach, a typical ferry flight will have eight to twelve thousand hours on the tach, fifteen hundred or more since a major overhaul, will probably be out of annual, and be on a special FAA ferry permit for that flight. The plane might also have been parked on the line for three or four years without any runtime. There's a reason why you got that flight, and generally it's because the people who know the plane have said, "No way. No how." I'm not trying to be negative, but my experience with ferry flights have almost all fit into that exact scenario. I'm not a hot blonde who is charming and photogenic as blazes, so I only got offered the dregs. I'm just one of ten thousand guys who struggled to build time.Fortunately for me, along the way, I happened to become an architect, instead of an airline pilot. I was one of the lucky ones who didn't take just any ferry flight that came along. I knew way too many pilots who were better than I ever dreamed about being who went down with sometimes depressing results. And that was when these ferry flight planes were less than twenty years old, instead of the sixty or more years old that they are now. I've been a pilot for sixty years, and haven't had to walk home yet. I hope to put in a couple more years where I keep that personal record alive. "Alive" being the key word in that sentence. Good luck,
@@FlywithHayley that’s good ! Happy for ya! I’m just jealous lol. I remember my CFIs being poor trying to make it on CFI pay until they got hired by the airlines.
Where does her money come from? No disrespects but that's a lot of home/hangar/plane, etc for her claimed occupation. You need 100k/year to rent an apartment in NJ (NJ sucks, I know).
I’m going to be making a video all about it! But in short- I’m a marketing and media manager for an aircraft sales company, ferry pilot, CFI, and mortgage loan officer. Wear a lot of hats I know 😅
@@FlywithHayley I really dont think you have to explain to anyone about your business Hayley. People can be rude and nosey...with a touch of jealousy and envy. Best wishes to you 😊 guard your privacy sweet lady.
As an fyi, my mother has been working as a nurse in a hospital for a few decades, shes told ne a few times, all the doctors there advise against running, you have no idea how nany oeople ruin their bodies by running. Everyday people come to the hospital because of numerous problems from running. Youll pay later in life for running so much.
Absolute rubbish, I have a 46 year history of nursing in various settings including the military and have been running throughout with no injuries and no adverse effects whatsoever.
If my lovely pilot comes to Florida lest fly … I own my aircraft too and I love to share shore or long adventure or just pass buy say hello we can give u space to your new beautiful plane in our hangar here in KHWO Love Yuri
Good luck, we’ll be following along with your channel. My wife and I have been pilots for over 46 years we bought our first plane in 1977.

When I was CFI I was eating Ramen and skipping eating every other day cause I couldn’t afford it.
She ain't paying for that house...I live in Reno and that area she is in is one of, if not the most expensive in the entire area.
Congratulations on the channel. From one pilot to another I wish you much success. Ill be watching for sure.

We have a modern hi tech glass in our shower 8 years in use no loss of quality to the glass!! Well worth it
Rain-X makes a water repellent spray for shower glass that will bead up the water.

I would have started the fireplace before I made breakfast. But that’s just me 🎸
MEV is a great little airport. I usually fly in there when going to Glenbrook. CXP is fine but not my favorite and I avoid TVL for tax reasons.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day

I have a question on what you have to do t become a ferry pilot. Out side of a PPL, what path do you need to take to be a ferry pilot?

Вечером ты едешь домой и не видишь как у тебя в машине горит лампочка показывает спущенное колесо или мало воздуха в колесе ...
What kind of squeegee technique is that?
the best kind
No more ferrying jobs?? Glad you have recovered from your accident
I’ll still be ferrying! Should be flying and making a video on a fun new diamond soon 😊
What no 50% off a new Diamond! Jee Whiz.
