Im not sure if I am high. But I have rewatched your video about 5 times. I dont think you explain what the difference is regarding an on board water tank.
It just needs to go back to dock and wash mop more frequently taking more time than x1. As today I suggest t20 Omni, it was recently on Black Friday and has hot water washing. Just made a video about it
Hey - I'm choosing between the Dreame L10s at £1000 or the X1E Omni at £849 - which one would you pick? We have almost identical floors to your house, a mix of hard floor and carpet. Thanks!
I think overall the Ecovacs x1 Omni is slightly better. The mapping is word but mops a little bit better. Downside is that x1 doesn’t lift the mop while Dreame does, so it passes on carpets as well, while the x1 avoids carpet. You need to manually remove mopping pads to vacuum carpet which is a downside. Also Dreame has automatic cleaning soap addition which is a bonus. But if the prices are the ones you said I would go for Ecovacs since they are pretty similar but 150£ less is a lot. Hopefully I helped you in decision making!

X1 does have onboard water tank, x1e does not. So it only wets mop when washes them

Does the differences in mopping cause problems for when the X1 travels to further away rooms?

No the x1 and x1e don’t lift the mops. As far as I know it’s only the t20 and x2 from ecovacs
Is there a control mode for telling the robot to do mop only and/or vacuum only or both vacuum & mop same time?
There is mop+vacuum, mop only (setting) and vacuum only mode (you manually remove the mopping pads)

Is the white one the same as the T10 OMNI?
It’s very similar. Not sure what’s the difference with x1e Omni
