Uncontested stolen bases and homerun derby meat pitches will earn the MLB 50 billion Yen. The Japanese cannot get enough and their money does not care about hallowed records. You can go watch every stolen base on youtube; about 20 seem legitimate. Mike Trout didnt even steal 50 lol. MLB is corrupt for the cash and merch sales.

While Lindor contributes to the Mets, Ohtani contributes not only to Major League Baseball, but to the legacy sport of "baseball" as a whole.
Would people who have no interest in baseball pay to go to the ballpark to see Lindor?
Before that, would a family gather on the couch and turn on the TV to watch Lindor?
Such a phenomenon is happening every day to watch Ohtani.
The difference in scale and dimension is obvious. The enthusiasts who are confined to their respective frames of basketball or baseball and cannot see "the huge crowd of indifferent people who are not there" are not "enthusiasts" but "minor-minded" just like "regulars who go to long-established restaurants.
Today, even art is not tired of being an "exemption" for the wealthy, and is not only rotten at drawing in the masses who have no interest in art, but also realizes that "learning from them will lead to the art of the next era.

Love this!! As for best single game ever, I distinctly remember being a kid and hearing seeing an Arod highlight early Yankees career i think, I'm thinking augustish... 11 rbi's I don't remember the rest of the stat line tho. That's gotta be up there too.
Looked it up. April 05 with the yanks. 10 rbi's 3 Homer's one of em a grand slam

Shohei always wants to win games more than he wants to achieve his own records.
This is because Shohei believes that the team's championship is more important than his own record and that the ultimate goal of baseball is for the team to win.
His own performance happens in the process of his team winning the championship, and his most important ultimate goal is for his team to become world champions.
It is time for the interviewer to notice this way of thinking of Shohei's and choose questions accordingly.
Shohei's top priority is to realize the team championship. He does not consider the achievement of his individual result as his primary goal. This is why Shohei is able to stay calm and not get nervous in the face of a big achievement, and as a result, he is able to achieve an amazing record with ease.
This is probably similar to what the Japanese often refer to as “the triumph of selflessness.”
When we all have a strong desire to achieve something, our body tenses up and we cannot move properly.
This is because the cognitive mechanism of the brain, which controls the ego, also stimulates the autonomic nervous system, which controls the unconscious.
However, if we maintain a feeling of unselfishness, the autonomic nervous system will function normally as usual and the body will move naturally without tension.
This is a kind of utilization of the basic structural mechanism within the human body.
Otani must have naturally learned how to control his emotions with this kind of mentality in the process of growing up.
That is why he is able to achieve amazing big records that many people would be surprised at so easily.
Everyone should learn this kind of methodology from Otani's actions.
What we should discuss next is not how great Otani is, but the mechanism of his mindset and process that enabled him to achieve great results.
