The 1st 4th down attempt in the 1st quarter, on the road, just inside the 20 and down only 3-0, Quinn should've taken the easy chip shot FG to tie the game at 3. That was a ridiculous call at that time
They did it twice. After throwing away two easy field goals. I thought for sure Washington was gonna lose. Then that doink to win the game was a fittig way for them to win. They have had a few near miss wins this year.
I may not be a Washington fan but I’m very proud of what this team was able to accomplish, just one year removed from going 4-13 and having a bottom offense and defense the very next season they go 12-5 and win a playoff game with a rookie quarterback, what an amazing turnaround

The first Superbowl I saw here live on UK tv was Superbowl 17 in 1983, the Theismann/Marino match up. Picked Washington as my team and so it has been since. There's been some great times and long periods of frustration but this year has been a revelation. From where we were last season to now is an unbelievable turnaround and I'm loving it. Raise Hail!

I'm a huge Jayden Daniels fan and he just proved how mature and at ease he is, even in the biggest moments. Washington hasn't won a game in the playoffs since JD5 was 5 years old, the wait seems to have been worth it. This was a phenomenal playoff game and there's more to come. Yeah that's not correct. The last time Washington went to playoffs was in 2020 where we lost to Tampa Bay 31-23 in the wildcard. This was the 1st playoff victory since 2005 which was also against Tampa Bay ✌️

Dan Campbell gets a ton of criticism for the 4th down calls in last year's NFC Championship game but here is a shining example of one game where Bowles "took the points" to tie the game. If he had gone for it and got it, they could have milked the clock and gone for a TD. The result may have been very different. As a Lions fan, I gotta give props to the other Dan Gamble. He played to win the game and they got it. See you in Detroit.
I think knowing and weighing the situation is important. When Campbell twice passed up a chance to kick a field goal and give his team a three score lead against Niners last year, which would have essentially put the game away, those were bad decisions. Especially with how the Niners body language was. They were playing desperate and looking gassed. Those two fourth down stops gave them not just a chance, but a emotional lift. Those are things that analytics will miss.

This is the only game where I didn't know which team would come out victorious. It was the best game on Sunday. I hate this for Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans because they were clicking on all cylinders. I've been impressed by the Heisman trophy winner and million dollar smile, Jayden Daniels, and the Commanders this year.
Glad to see Washington finally has a QB. As long as I can remember they've always been a team that's had pretty good talent throughout the roster, but absent a QB and good coaching. This year has just been magical. I'm loving my team for the first time in a long time. Every game is exciting!
I'm a huge Jayden Daniels fan and he just proved how mature and at ease he is, even in the biggest moments. Washington hasn't won a game in the playoffs since JD5 was 5 years old, the wait seems to have been worth it. This was a phenomenal playoff game and there's more to come. Yeah that's not correct. The last time Washington went to playoffs was in 2020 where we lost to Tampa Bay 31-23 in the wildcard. This was the 1st playoff victory since 2005 which was also against Tampa Bay ✌️

Dan Campbell gets a ton of criticism for the 4th down calls in last year's NFC Championship game but here is a shining example of one game where Bowles "took the points" to tie the game. If he had gone for it and got it, they could have milked the clock and gone for a TD. The result may have been very different.
As a Lions fan, I gotta give props to the other Dan Gamble. He played to win the game and they got it. See you in Detroit.
I think knowing and weighing the situation is important. When Campbell twice passed up a chance to kick a field goal and give his team a three score lead against Niners last year, which would have essentially put the game away, those were bad decisions. Especially with how the Niners body language was. They were playing desperate and looking gassed. Those two fourth down stops gave them not just a chance, but a emotional lift. Those are things that analytics will miss.
Yeah, but if (ironically) Campbell had "taken the points" at 20-17, the eventual Commanders FG in the end, would've made them on finish on 26 points :)

This is the only game where I didn't know which team would come out victorious. It was the best game on Sunday. I hate this for Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans because they were clicking on all cylinders. I've been impressed by the Heisman trophy winner and million dollar smile, Jayden Daniels, and the Commanders this year.

Love this team. I have been a Washington fan my entire life. So many ups and downs. Some of the best moments and many of the worst. But this season has been amazing. HTTR. Let's go! Ride this wave to Detroit and have fun.
Definitely the most fun game to watch this playoff season so far. These teams both played like they wanted it and both offenses and defenses made crucial plays. A fun watch overall, sad that it basically came down to that fumbled snap.
