    Remember that every time he hits a home run, that's an at bat guaranteed to give him _zero_ stolen bases. So the two goals are not just separate, but in active conflict.

      @Neurotik51 4 месяца назад +6

      @@Bobbybabybobbybubbie Only 7 RBIs though right, though that isn't exactly under his control. In this case two stolen bases was pretty equal to a solo HR because it allowed him to score on the subsequent sac fly. Would have been another double too except he tried for the triple and a pretty much perfect throw nailed him. I do agree the last home run is kind of w/e being off the position player (even I could have hit that pitch out), but it's still a homer. If only he'd gotten that triple man, imagine getting the cycle with 3 homers lol, absurd.

He saw Mays, Clemente, Duke, Yaz and all of those "Golden Era" Baseball players. So, with that said, and knowing he was a lifelong Baseball erudite, I will always remember him telling me "I've Never seen or heard anything like what Ohtani can do. He is literally head and shoulders over Everyone INCLUDING Babe Ruth (have to mention He was a Yankee fan!), and it's not even close!" He also missed that famous "Ohtani Double Header". Damn, he would've flipped with that one! probably because most of those guys played in this era where they made stealing bases way too easy. literally back to back "historical seasons" (acuna 40 HR 70 SB) after making changes to the base size and how many times a pitcher can pick off. i think the stolen base number is way over blown. what shohei is doing at the plate and as a pitcher is why he's the greatest. not because he can steal bases in this era where they made it too easy.
