Yes sireeee I’m 71 years old n that’s the best one man hitting performance I’ve ever seen n I saw Reggie hit 3 homers in one game n won the series but somehow Freeman was the mist dramatic homer or Grandskam in baseball history if u ask me boy !!!!!!
Watching Freddie Freeman hit 4 homers and 12 RBI's in the series, Amazing. Watching Dave Roberts break Yankee fans hearts again, fantastic. Watching the faces of Yankee fans during the biggest meltdown in Baseball history in Yankee Stadium, PRICELESS!
I'm so impressed with Dodgers' ability to overcome so many obstacles in this post season, from losing starters, to Freeman's ankle injury, to Ohtani's shoulder injury, etc. and still won the World Series. This is a special team and I'm so glad their hustle and hard work paid off in the end and became the World Champions.
Bobby Richardson set the record with 12 RBIS in the 1960 World Series. That Series went the full 7 games. Freddie Freeman tied his record in just 5 games. Freeman's accomplishment is greater for that reason.
Remember when he fired his agent because of how all of that went down? The Braves asked for an answer in a certain amount of time. They didn't get it. They had to make a decision. It wasn't the money. Nobody in that organization wanted to see Freddie go to LA.
As a Dodgers fan i am so grateful to management for signing the hometown kid Freddie and im even more grateful to the Atlanta Braves for being THAT STUPID and cheap to not give him the 6th yr on the contract even though he wanted to stay in Atlanta. BWHAHHAHA 😂😂
Don't put that on the Braves. Our front office matched everything the Dodgers gave him and more. Freddie loved Atlanta but his home life pulled him back to SoCal. Still will be remembered as one of the great Braves players of all time and I appreciate every moment of success he has with the Dodgers.
@@blessembreaksHad more to do with Freddie's agent trying to play both sides and put AA on the spot. Everyone hated the result; Freddie is still loved in Atlanta. It really didn't have much to deal with the money, it was more about Anthopoulos not negotiating with chiselers.
@@MrBendylaw in the end y’all didnt budge from the 5th yr. Im not talkin bad about Atlanta fans u guys are great, but your management literally made the stupidest, cheapest decision and it wont age well. U dont treat your HOF’ers like that, especially ones that have come up thru your system
@@blessembreaks Chipper Jones came through our system, played his entire career in a Braves uniform, retired, HOF, Freddie's best friend... His take? Why don't you look it up and learn something so I can stop typing. Anyway, I hate debating baseball fans from other teams; everybody's wrapped up in the laundry. But let me tell you this: when Freddie hit that grand slam, Chipper was whispering in his ear "That's a Yankee. You have to kill that".
How were the Yankees dropping the ball n making the dodgers get extra outs n the cat never covered first on a routine grounder ???? Yikes that was like Murphy’s law any could happen is gonna hapoen
If you look more into their team, you’ll see the lack of hustle and discipline. Works fine in the regular season, but baseball gods will teach you a hard lesson.
Why would the Yankees put Kahnle in when he throws 42 mph changeups instead of sticking with Holmes? That was when I knew the Yankees were going to lose. The Dodgers had no problem extending Treinen.
That’s when you knew brother ???? What about the judge fly ball he dropped n Cole never covered first on a routine grounder n it was then I knew they were giving up all the momentum n we’re gonna lose !!!!!!! It was the judge drop the easy pop caused the comeback for real that was the big change in the vibe
The Yankees lost the World Series due to Aaron Boone's mismanagement. He never changed his lineup. He had to move Aaron Judge to six at bat instead leaving him third at bat. Since the Yankees lost their second straight game to the Dodgers; Boone had to change his lineup and put Volpe 1st at bat, Torres 2nd at bat, Chisholm 3rd at bat, Soto 4th at bat, Stanton 5th at bat and Aaron Judge 6th at bat. If Boone would have changed the lineup as the one described above, the Yankees would have won the World Series! Nowadays, managing any MLB team by the "little book" as Aaron Boone did is obsolete! Especially, in a World Series where there is not tomorrow. If you are not sure about not managing with the "little book" because it is obsolete methodology, then you should ask Dave Roberts who brought Walker Buehrle in the 9th inning into the mound to secure Dodgers World Series Ring! ⚾️
If you believe that lineup change would win the series you're out of your mind. There was zero chance your 5 players batting sub .200 in the post season was gonna do anything against the dodgers. Even if it went to 6 or 7 games. The dodgers were NOT going to lose in dodger stadium.
He didn't do much at all during the World Series, but he did a lot before that. I would say that Padres would've beat the Dodgers without Ohtani, it's a team effort. You're not supposed to do everything yourself.
@zaimanity8893 offcourse he help but the dodgers got him to be a difference maker in the playoffs not in the regular season..dodgers been the best Team In regular season the pass 10 years
All while injured too. He’s a badass warrior
We will probably never see anything like what Freddie freeman just did. Absolutely insane, congratulations dodgers!
Lifelong Braves fan. I hated to see Freddie leave. But, his World Series performance was awesome. Happy for Freddie.

Freddie Freeman best World Series hitting performance ever💯
That 5th inning was rough for us. Congratulations, Dodgers! ⚾️💯
Aaron Boone has to go major collapse tonight
As a Red Sox fan I am happy for Dave Roberts!

You kinda just knew Freeman was gonna own this World Series after his epic walk off slam in game 1.
I’d never seen a hitter so locked in and driving things in a WS like 2013 (post-Marathon Bombing) David Ortiz. Not in my lifetime anyway….until now
Penny pinching Braves ownership caused this. No way he shouldn't still be a Brave
Remember when he fired his agent because of how all of that went down? The Braves asked for an answer in a certain amount of time. They didn't get it. They had to make a decision. It wasn't the money. Nobody in that organization wanted to see Freddie go to LA.
Nope. It was his agent that screwed it all up, he lied to Freddie and he fired him because of it.
And mad dog said, "There's no way the dodgers are gonna win the World Series." 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cant wait for first take
Guy was MVP 3rd game in... He was close to hitting it out today
Started with the game one grand slam to win the game.

Doc Roberts... because he surgically dismembered the Yankees roster into flailing imposters of themselves.
I knew what SVP meant.

Doc Rivers meets Dave Roberts 1:37
Walker being Walker!
The Yankees literally hit for the error cycle.
Tied for most RBIs ever even though it was a 5 game series only
Yep , all time legend , even reggie buys him a beer in October.
With Judge being exposed in center field , I don't think Sotois coming back to the Yankees
Heartbroken. Oh well, at least Ohtani has a ring. Shocked.
I wonder who ESPN is cutting next?
January 5th inning
Can yall explain this in NBA terms?

When he walked Mookie in front of Freeman and loaded the bases, it was all downhill from there.
Boone has to be fired. He sat and watched the 5th inning without switching the pitcher. Yankees were asleep with a 5 point lead.
To think this World Series cost $15 billion and Tim Kurkjian and Scott Van Pelt now talk to each other from inside Disney rides
The year is 2100. Random team, let's not get comfortable, were up 7 runs in the 5th inning, don't Yankee it fellas'! Snowball of Errors.
Well they had to win at some point. They payed for a championship with a loaded team
Will Smith has won 5 straight World Series
Eh I've seen better WS performances.
You will never see another team win a world series with there entire starting pitchers out...
We already have the ohtani bandwagon fans saying he was the reeason we won and he should of been the mvp 😂😂😂
