And Kersh too! So many good people on the Dodgers. Always have been. One reason I root for them and why I think it should be hard to root against them. :-)
Rarely will you see three superstars in a sport be so selfless. Freddie and Ohtani playing through the pain barrier, and Mookie Betts has basically been a utility player the past couple years despite having one of the greatest outfield gloves of his generation.
Traveled to LA for a Halloween concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Next morning I left a little early to beat traffic. Around 11:00am suddenly the freeway is closed and I'm stuck on a overpass. I look down and 5 open top busses of Dodgers and the World Series trophy traveling to the parade were right there below me! I watched Freedie's grand slam 100x and Ice Cube's performance 100x too so it was amazing I got to see the whole team unexpectedly.
I'm a diehard Yankees fan and I'm absolutely gutted about this WS loss (though completely unsurprised) but the Dodgers are my NL team and I love Freddie Freeman so much. So happy for him. How can you not love this dude?!
I'm 71 years old and been a Dodger fan since they moved to LA. So happy my team won again and so happy they were lead by a class act like Freddie Freeman! Dodger for life!😊
I am in Australia, Freddie is a brilliant role model the world over, with his kindness, humility & sportsmanship. We need more Freddie's in this world.
As a poor kid from Anaheim, that never got to play sports, who had to pay his way through school in Fullerton, I get to live vicariously through him. He's the exact kind of ball player I would want to be.
My g/f and I grew up in SD. But, my dad was born in LA and a die-hard Dodger fan. So, by extension I was a Dodger fan, who attended Padres games growing up. Been living in LA since '87. Now, I am a Dodger fan and it was my g/f who insisted, after I got her back into baseball, that we attend Game 1. I thought it was too expensive, but she talked me into it. So amazing to watch The FF GS HR as a walk off in game 1! Most amazing baseball memory I witnessed live. Ty, for that FF!
My grandpa was named Fred, he was a huge Dodgers fan, back to Koufax and Drysdale, found newspapers clippings of his. He would be very proud of Freddie.
I've watched Freddie for more than 10 years since he started as a Brave who was a well-known killer of my beloved Washington Nationals. Freddie's always been a class act and it was a delight to see him thrive on the biggest stage. Congratulations!
freddie is an amazing player and person. he deserves every bit of success that comes his way, especially considering how much he had to overcome this season. dodger fans are so lucky to have him! 💙
Freddie, WS MVP with a grand slam walk off homer and record 12 WS RBIs, and the day after the WS win he sets up Iron Man, Hulk and Spiderman for his kids’ Halloween!! Superstar and a true family guy, coming back after his son Max’s difficult condition. And we saw real team-spirit vibe from the whole Dodgers line up no ego’s everyone busting their butts for the team. It’s like Freddie repayed LA for the love and support they gave to him and his family when they needed it the most ,thank you Freddie you deserve this win and the mvp and thank you for giving me a WIN as a dodgers fan. 🎉❤
It was great it will go down as 2nd greatest moment but Kirk pinch hit, on a bad heel ,vin scully with the iconic call and he hit it against the most dominant closer of his era it's gonna be a debatable moment ever.
I am a die hard Mets fan and obviously when he played for Atlanta as usual they seemed to always get the best of us. But man, he just seems like one of the nicest guys in baseball, like the Paul Rudd of baseball. I am not a Dodger fan or a Yankees fan but a Freddie fan and everything he gets is well deserved and I am happy his son is doing better as well!
I was little when the Twins came to Minnesota. Happy to have had 2 world championships in 87 and 91. The Yankees have the Twins as their whipping boys around the past decade in regular season and playoffs. Once I saw Freddie Freeman play in the first game of the world series. He stole my heart! He is a true champion! And an amazing father! The last dodger I felt that way about was Orel Hershiser .

I love Freddie❤, and he did a great job from the first WS game, and I was moved by his home run at the end. Even in Japan, everyone was paying attention. You are a hero and a great father.
