I don’t know about that. Dominecans can play some baseball. There are great players from every country as the wbc showed. But they are taught differently. Their fundamentals are good. They can bunt, sacrifice, and move runners over to prevent double plays and get in scoring position
I know this is about Shohei, but as a Mets fan seeing Alonso on that list shows how good his ROOKIE season was, the rest of those guys were established players already
They need to give him another year off from pitching just to be safe. No need to rush him back to pitching in the MLB next season. Just let give him another year to practice during the season because they did sign him for a 10 year contract.

No he won't, because 50/50 is all they will recall.
The G.O.A.T does it again gotta love this dudes playing. Hope to see him play soon great job ohtani
I’m just going through RUclips videos of Shohei Ohtani “breaking the record game” and giving a 👍 thumbs up and moving on. I’m hoping to get to 50 videos and 50 👍 comments so I can be like Ohtani-san and follow his lead into the 50/50 world we live in 🌎✌️
LOLLOL!!! 😂😂🤣 That’s a hilarious comment! 👍👍
Something is seriously wrong with you…
He should get another 700 million.
yes!
Crazy but true, look at the views... Dude is insane
He gets the around the same in sponsorships deals
So yea he already does, that’s why he deferred that money
The Billion Dollar Man. And it ain't no TV show. 🙂
They need to amend the contract… pay the man a billion dollars.
OMG Shohei Ohtani you are AMAZING!!!! The GOAT.
WOW, now let's celebrate this historic achievement . Congratulations !👏👏
Shohei will inevitably become the GOAT💯🐐
I don't even like baseball, or really any professional sport anymore, but the headline caught my eye. Not everyday someone sets an MLB record. But for a _pitcher_ to hit 50 home runs in itself is shocking. Who else has done that, Jim Abbott?
He better get MVP this season!
Luarbiasa....🎉🎉🎉
1/1 player. It’s an honor to be able to watch this man day in and day out
We watched history being made!!
Already goat
Ohtani will likely be the only three time unanimous MVP.
He will probably win more than 3 MVP s
I don’t gamble but I would bet on it, if it was even money
@@BrianYakata-m4zGambling is bad.
Greatest hitter of all time and because he can pitch greatest pitcher of all time
Best player of all time
Japanese players dominate American baseball...the best players in the World. 👏
I don’t know about that. Dominecans can play some baseball. There are great players from every country as the wbc showed. But they are taught differently. Their fundamentals are good. They can bunt, sacrifice, and move runners over to prevent double plays and get in scoring position
GREATEST SPECTICLE!!!!!!!!
There is no player in baseball that has been more dominant than Ohtani. I've seen games where he pitch/hit and beat the opposing team himself. This isn't football or basketball where one man can take over like that. It's insane.
My father went to the game. Beforehand I told him "I hope Ohtani puts on a show..."
Anh... He’s ... SHO🎉😊
Ohtani is the goat.
Ohtani the Super Saiyan!
He is on pace to be the GOAT! No question about that
There u ALL go with the GOAT STUFF.. It’s GENERATION and decades .. for any sport .. yes it was a priceless game and what he did . Just give him props and have his career goin .
Once he wins the Cy Young Award next year and wins the World Series this year, then he would be the GOAT.
I want a shohei ohtani anime
With one world series ring, yes ohtani will become the Greatest Of All Time.
undoubtedly 💯
how many gold gloves he got?
@@mikekinsella2822 haha you must be funny at parties
@@mikekinsella2822if u were a coach would u put him in outfield and exhaust his energy when he can pitch and hit? NO. he is special he doesnt need to play defense. live in your own world because 90% will agree Ohtani is a beast
@@mikekinsella2822 I can rattle off tons of gold glove recipients that many people have completely forgotten about.
To reach 40-40 is rare and hard enough but 50-50 you got to have incredible power and speed (that's an all around player) some like Judge has power but no speed, Dal la Cruz has speed but very little power, Acuna has speed but 40 is his limit (he was'nt going to get another 40-40 this year, befire Acuna got hurt sliding on May 28 he was hitting only .250 with 5 homeruns and 8 steals) the 50-50 mark will stand for a long time.
and then there's the pitching.
"Nerded out on what?" 😮😂😂😂 Ohtani got her entangled with her words😅
Shohei Ohtani is the best all round baseball player in history.
He is the baseball goat. 🎉
Had Babe Ruth ever faced fast ball over 100 mph? Curve ball or others?
Nostalgia is not a good thing in any sports.
🐐
The 50/50 Club sounds amazing
If he shows up in postseason he will go down as the greatest all around ball player ever!! Also love this trend of putting your power hitters 1 in lineup. Get them to plate an extra couple times a week that way. At least
He will, during the world tournament he proved that he is very clutch and can come up big-time in big moments like the Mexico game and of course the famous Trout match up
Ohtani is so unreal…
he's the Best player in the baseball world by being ONLY HALF of what he's capable of!! GOAT ALREADY in baseball!! He's only continuing to prove if he's the GOAT of ALL SPORTS!!
Life long Yankee fan here from nyc and all I want to do is watch GOATANI
If any of you are skeptical.
Just have the athlete you are rooting for break the record.
It will be a lot of fun. Please do it.
