There was a moment - I think it may have been after hitting his 49th hr in Miami - where the camera zoomed in on his face as he let the bat slide from his hand and stood for a few moments gazing up at the ball arcing high into the stands with a look of complete serenity, as if he were calmly watching the flight of a passing bird. In that expression there was no bravado or any emotional display - it was as if he was seeing exactly what he expected to see. That's my Ohtani moment.
One of the most impressive things about him is just how damn fast he runs for having such a huge build. He’s 6’5 in cleats and is buff af! Great great video, but one huge mistake….a wrong information here. Shohei didn’t insist on becoming a two-way player. Out of high school, he wanted to come straight to the MLB. He would have been a first player to have done so in Japan. So he asked all of the teams in Japan not to draft him but Nippon Ham Fighters insisted talking to him, while suggesting to become a two-way player. The manager, Kuriyama, suggested him that he could give Shohei the opportunity, become successful as a two-way- player, that might help him to have a better resume for the MLB. Fighter’s was willing to give him the opportunity which Shohei never thought was allowed in the professional baseball. He thought he had to choose one way or the other. So you can say that Kuriyama is the reason why we can enjoy this two-way-player ❤ I know Shohei wanted to play in the WBC but having Kuriyama as a manager, I’m sure he was more convinced to participate in it as well.

Nice video, but let's clear this up: they're not the 'Ham Fighters'-nobody's out there battling lunch meat. They're owned by Nippon Ham, so just call them the Fighters or Nippon Ham Fighters.
He may be on the most uniquely dominant run in the history of the sport. He has 4 seasons of 8.9+ bwar in a row. Only a few players have ever done that. 3 mvps in just 4 years. The only player with a better stretch is barry bonds when he was fully juiced. Hes about to become only the second player ever to win mvp in both leagues. First to ever do it back to back. the previous highest war as a dh ever was 7. He put up 9.2 this year. He breaks multiple records every year. If he can bring his 2022 pitching with his 2024 hitting, we could see the first 15+ war season since the 1800s.
Shannon is right, he absolutely should have got a billion, particularly with the deferral. Dodgers could invest the money they owe him and it'd be worth twice that by the time he starts collecting. I can't understand the sweetheart deal they gave him and why other teams didn't come in and gazump the Dodgers.
What weakened your body and allowed your injuries to manifest? Why did you have a better 2021, 2022 season, but suffered another injury in 2023? Figure out the cause. Reduce and or eliminate the cause so you can be at full health and full strength in order to fulfill your dream so the world can experience your greatness and the human potential..

ohtani didn’t “want” to be a two way player. he wanted to play in america, but he stated that going to a country where they don’t speak japanese at such a young age wasn’t really ideal. and when the fighters offered him being a two way player he signed with them.
He is discrete and disciplined
Those features are not seen in many young players
Talented and disciplined
Pitcher with a 50/50. Just that itself blows my mind. Just give it a minute.... BOOM
That video was so good i love ohtani!
Finally the Mangas I've read became true. When life imitates art 🎉
and he just won it all last night
Amazing video, you'll def grow quick if content like this keeps coming. Also you should seriously consider doing a rewatch of the vid, potentially with a friend, just to check for errors. There were many times (at least 3) where the number you edited in on the screen doesn't match the number you say in the voiceover. It doesn't matter that much but it's definitely a little distracting
Felt like I was watching an anime lol.
you need more subs mannn! what a great explanation
Anaheim gotta be kickin' themselves for letting the GOAT go!
When someone says you can't. Show the 🌍🌎🌏 that you can. If not try like HELL
your channel is wayy too underrated
Love to hear that
The G.O.A.T !
NOW SHOHEI OHTANI IS PLAYING BASKETBALL FOR THE MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES #17
Shohei - yes, 1 in a Billion yes with 50 50. That's Japan, produces A1 in a lot of things....
I always thought Ichiro was the GOAT, then Ohtani came along...
Love the video. That billionaire dollar man deserves everything he’s getting. On god.
Asian Pride!💪
Magic keeps on getting those 💎💎💎🏆
Can't wait to get an anime about this
He have anime name major
Main character.. Goro shiguno
I hate the LA Dodgers with all my heart, but I can’t bring myself to say bad things about Shohei, Bets, or Freeman, those three are pure class.
Facts
Kobe’s spirit lives in ohtani. Both insanely beyond obsessed
700 million dollars is wild.
Hall of famer in only three seasons to me.
I didn’t know Ohtani had that Kobe mentality in him.
Now you know!! He does it however woth humility and grace!!😀
Every little league child will have their 👀 on the 🏆👀. College ⚾ will be thinking that I can do it too. Work harder. Listen learn work
I was just chilling, and I never thought much of having another GOAT as baseball is widely considered as a one way GOAT aka Babe Ruth, as yall know, he will never be as close as modern baseball but he was far ahead of his time, and now we finally get a debate or well crowning a new GOAT
I'm not kidding when I say that he is this generation's Babe Ruth
來自日本東北的野球少年!
Well done video!! You have my sub please keep it up as it was informative and entertaining at same time!!!
Welcome aboard!
GOAT 🐐
one in a billion ? theres 8.16 billion people on earth in 2024 so there are 7 more people that can do what he does ? he´s 1 in 8 billion.
great video! and your first 2 posts are Judge and Ohtani who are going head to head in 2024 WS!!
Almost like I did that by design 🥴
Nice video, but let's clear this up: they're not the 'Ham Fighters'-nobody's out there battling lunch meat. They're owned by Nippon Ham, so just call them the Fighters or Nippon Ham Fighters.
Ace of Diamonds 💎
Domination
Great video!
He’s the baseball god.
I would take him over Willie. Mays had throwing errors. Ohtani has only made a few base running errors. I know, he doesn’t play the field.
Bro released his inner Goro Shigeno
6:58 should be the new MLB logo as a silhouette
This is the John wick of fucking baseball
Ohtani started the 2024 Spring Training with a bang🎉 and ended the season with a WORLD SERIES RING! 💍
😂😂😂
Shannon is right, he absolutely should have got a billion, particularly with the deferral. Dodgers could invest the money they owe him and it'd be worth twice that by the time he starts collecting. I can't understand the sweetheart deal they gave him and why other teams didn't come in and gazump the Dodgers.
1 in a billion means there’s 8 other people like him in the world
He is Goro Shigeno from anime called Major anime
I think about Tiger Woods Micheal Jordan Wayne Gretzky Babe Ruth … OHTANI talent is superior!
The guy is totally off the charts is an Alien 👽
What weakened your body and allowed your injuries to manifest? Why did you have a better 2021, 2022 season, but suffered another injury in 2023? Figure out the cause. Reduce and or eliminate the cause so you can be at full health and full strength in order to fulfill your dream so the world can experience your greatness and the human potential..
I just wanna know what his diet is, and was growing up to be 6ft 4!
Don’t forget the World Series!
