If he was thrown out at 3rd then how is that 6-6?
Counts as a double I think. Baseball stats are weird
It gets scored a double because he reached 2nd base safely, then was thrown out trying to advance to 3rd
@@pitchiq That makes no sense. A hit is counted as a 1, an out as a 0. He was thrown out running so it's a 0 (out). Is this some new rule in baseball?

@@pitchiq That rule talks about Batter or Runner Interference. I saw no such thing in Ohtani's attempted triple.
