Freeman is also taller but his swing is very short and his bat speed is really slow. When Ohtani guesses right and hits a home run, nobody complains, but if he swings and misses they criticize the guy even though he's having one of the greatest seasons. His batting Stance has his hands almost over the in high inside corner. It looks almost impossible not to get sawed off. It's not easy to hit a 100mph fastball and not open up. When he's late and loses balance, Joe Davis thinks he swung too hard, I don't think he's swinging hard at those pitches because he thinks it's a juicy home run ball. It's just kind of annoying because I end up hearing all the Dodger fans complaining about the same thing he says. He really influences

As a fantasy manager, I would bring him out for a 9th-inning relief before the playoffs if there is a game where the Dodgers are behind by double digits. It would be part of his "rehab" with zero pressure... but also to preview that option during the October run IF something catastrophic happens to the current bullpen with injuries, etc... Why not? He's already throwing every day as part of his rehab, and if he feels good, he can do some rehab in a real game.
