I saw this in Springfield MA on the tour - I recall the Clapton fans were pretty loud and rowdy when Santana first started, but became mesmerized - EC had tough act to follow, but then this song as the encoreblew everybody away,
I was outside of Memorial Stadium in Baltimore waiting to go in when a wind storm came up and knocked over stage scaffolding and injured stage crew. Concert was cancelled. Sucked big time.

I saw them together in 1975 in Minneapolis and it was magic. Both were in top form.
