Solar panels won't help in a community power outage. They just help with the production of power.

  • @leonardmsl68

I would look into a propane generator before I look into solar on the roof, and then you have to give off a spot in your garage for the batteries and everything else. God-bless and safe travels

  • @18-tolife20

Click bait sir please don't become that person!

  • @treetrimmerify

Solar panels work only when you have power to help reduce the energy you -buy but don’t have a battery system to help in a power outage

  • @regalbaby82

I vote for a Generac generator.

  • @edgarreyes-gy7nh

Yeah them compressors are hard to find... we went thru so many auto part stores and ended up finding it at 1 800 radiator. I know the feeling in this heat... get it installed brother... it's a life saver... stay hydrated brother. Turn and Burn 😎👍

  • @TexasVet64

Generac hooked up to a Propane tank is your best bet.... Solar panels are waaay overrated and won't do you any good with frequent power outages. Dollar for dollar a power generating system like Generac is much better than solar panels. And, if your current home isn't your "forever" home, the Generac system would enhance your home's value. Solar panels are too expensive for what they actually do.

  • @SuperBigDog2U

Need to gauge your daily electrical need and research if there is a panel/battery option that can support your home with that amount of electricity. Not cheap, but depending on what electricity costs you from the pole, maybe it would pay for itself. Probably inspections and such required too, additional permitting, to set it up. May be worth it in the end, just have to research your needs vs effort and cost in setting up panels/battery.

  • @rye-bucksjerkpan4571

Solar panel depends if it’s cloudy it’s not going to charge and most solar panel nowadays they don’t sell the batteries. You have to buy batteries separate my advice get you a generator to run your home if you have the money to buy you a solar system you definitely have money to purchase a generator to run your Home

  • @erniebowling4164

you need a Arctic air license jet. it's a fan / AC . yes you need to put water in it but it lasts up to 14 hours. yes you have to froze the water.

  • @venusfly1323

I agree with D_in _DC get a whole house generator one of the companies that make them is Genrac. Talk to a rep from Genrac. Can't wait to see Mystery Lady all pimped out. Be safe.

  • @f.s.wisetransportllc.4677

Solar panels are the way to go, I’m getting set up to have Tesla solar panels installed if not I’m going with Generac brand generator that runs off natural gas

  • @djsimmons4141

I put a Generac in my house “3400sf” for 10K in 2022. My tree canopy made solar none feasible.

  • @johnsadventures6783

I definitely wouldn't put solar panels on my roof. That is a lot of holes in your roof. It's takes many years for them to pay for themselves.

  • @timmcdermottgetgf2250

Hi LoneStar Texas Ranger and family

  • @JoshsTruckingadventures

Alright that’s the landstar truck for me. Except wrong kind of trailer lol

  • @randysellers8995

I believe you would be better served by putting in a propane emergency ( Backup) generator. Although in Texas a solar system may pay for itself before you would have to replace batteries or panels. Do your homework.

  • @matzrat5006

Yes they are worth, Dont mount on your roof.

  • @KT-deweycity

    They sell home generators!
