Cool content. Before getting a whole house generator consider and look into solar panels. Tesla has a good system with power walls battery backup. You can run your house off the batteries.

I got an alignment at lubezone in brookshire, texas off i-10. they were able to get me in and out in about 1hr. but i went on a Saturday when they weren't busy.

You’ve mentioned in several videos that you stayed driving that truck in order to earn back your money before putting a driver in it. Wouldn’t it be cost effective to put the driver in it sooner, while you drive one of your other trucks? This way you have revenue from your direct driving loads, as well as the revenue from that second driver’s loads. I’m a little late asking this question, but it’s still relevant. Be safe out there. 🏍🇺🇸🎒
I’ve mentioned it several times, I still have repairs that I want to do to the FLD. And I want to build my savings up for repairs/maintenance for myself and the driver. In addition to paying him downtime for possible breakdowns. If he and I broke down with major repairs on the same day, I would be in trouble.
So what would he drive? The FLD needs work too.
@@danrogers8583 Do you assume he’s not doing pm because it’s not on video, or do you have insider information? While in the service we had to pmcs our vehicles every time we took possession and prior to daily use. We still had break downs, though. On deployments it could place you in danger real fast, so that’s why we had those daily checklists. I tend to believe he’s doing his checks, because now and again he captures it on video. It may not be to your standards, but he also might not be showing everything. If you argue that’s bad considering he’s modeling for others, I’d tend to agree. It’s his channel and I’d never take anything online as seriously as some people, because you have to remember that all it takes to be a “journalist” or RUclips “star” is a phone. I’ve investigated deadly crashes of all types for the DOD over the years and to have the driving habits on video like we do today, would have saved me so much investigative work. We see this in courtrooms almost weekly now.

With all due respect, I’ve ridden motorcycles for 45 years and 1M+ miles, it’s not my responsibility to speed so that you can get out of your camping spot in that left lane. I make it a habit not to linger in your blind spot, but I’m also appreciative of people using that left lane for its intended purpose: passing. Be safe. 🏍🇺🇸🎒

@@teebrown1642Common sense tells me that I should not pass on the right, also. However, trucks camped in the left lane, leave me no option at times. Common sense also says that speeding to pass a vehicle is illegal, regardless of the circumstances. Departmental policy also allows LEOs to use discretion (and common sense) when deciding to ticket vehicles either camped in the passing lane (impeding traffic) or vehicles speeding to pass. Both instances are covered in most state statutes, if my memory serves. I have been retired from that line of work for some time, but my common sense is still working quite well. I appreciate your common response. 🏍🇺🇸🎒
So in this case would you not slow down? That seems like the most sensible thing to do if your not gonna pass. Plus, it's not like he was camping in the left lane, he just passed a werner truck coming on the hwy.

I would not place myself in that position in the first place and if I’m a truck driver, I’m not going to expect a fellow driver/rider to compensate for my driving choices. If you’re looking 12 seconds ahead focused on the task, you’ll avoid problems in the first place. It’s just the professional thing to do.
Common sense left lanes are for passing especially when passing a big rig due to the blind spot🤔🤙 in this video he moved into the left lane to let the Werner truck on 😎
