I just want to thank you for the videos. Being in a wheelchair all my life made my dream of trucking impossible but through your videos i get to experience it at least a bit. Thank yo so much. keep trucking
Hello, I'm in the Kentucky Army National Guard currently on deployment in Kuwait. On the civilian side back home I'm a trucker gratefully working for J.B. Hunt Intermodal. Like you, I also have a love for trucking and appreciate the work you do in all of your videos. I watch them whenever I can over here. They are done so well and to tell you the truth, they make me a bit homesick for the road. LOL. So I just wanted to give you a little thanks. Keep up the good work and Godspeed!
NEW DRIVERS, when you have a sealed load make sure the receiver verifies and breaks the seal. if they tell you "go ahead and break the seal" tell them no someone needs to verify it. That's how warehouse people will scam you. Ask me how I know.
Trucker Glenn, have they told you about "keeping the big one between the ditches and the little one in your britches"? Congrats on your new job. You truckers keep this country alive. I appreciate you!
If your load is inspected by the authorities make sure they put a new seal on and make a note on the paperwork with their signature and/or stamp from that Authority.. If you pick up a preloaded trailer put this (SC) on the paperwork SC stands for shippers count. Some will put down SLC Shippers load count. SC is just as good.
Jack, I always carried binoculars with me. Great for finding addresses, entries/exits and especially helpful when looking for cross streets in cities. Rand can be close but close only counts in horseshoes!
Always a fun trip to Laredo!! Last time I was there, ran into another driver from my hometown, in Florida.....small world. Was nice to have a real conversation, with someone who knows your background, so far from home.
Hello Jack, I was heading to Laredo in that traffic nightmare. First time I had to wait in traffic getting into Laredo in 9 years going there. We were allowed to stay on 35South, all the way to exit 13, the T/A. I heard a couple of trailers flipped. We didn't see signs of accident. Waiting for loads to cross the border is the hardest thing. I speak Spanish and yes they are never sure when load is crossing , to many variables involved. Stat safe and thanks for the great videos.
Hey I'm from Laredo TX im a night dispatcher for M&J Carriers I used to work where they routed you and there's always accidents every other day its ridiculous
Well Jack, you finally proved to me that you and I are the same kind of Trucker, Old School trying to change to new ways but not putting up with shippers and receivers' shenanigans...""I LOVED THAT PART of todays video.""" Thank you for showing most of a Truckers' life in total. Dave J (still gigglin')
Jack & anyone else if it’s meal time & there is a Stripes Convenience store inside they have the Laredo Taco Company. Great tacos made right there with a large selection of ingredients
Yeah um your missing a pallet lol, Colton CA got me on a few different times but now I video record the loading process until the seal is on and video the unloading so I know which company is doing the scamming. When I know which company it is, they go on my blacklist (list to not do business with). We aint got time to play games with these companies.
Last time I was in Laredo I had a pick up at a warehouse right near the Rio grande in the couple hours i sat there I watched several Mexican families wade across the Rio grande
this is a big reason why I have flatbeds, intermodal, and coil haulers. If a receiver has a problem with the load I say talk to the shipper we're here to deliver it. My drivers don't have to wait for hours and days to drop the load. Intermodal drops the trailer then picks up a new one and heads on. That and theres a lot more money in it than youll ever make in a van or reefer.
Greetings Indiana jack! When you said Sullivan , tx I knew exactly where you were at. It's actually Sullivan city,Tx . These are all border towns including hidalgo , Tx that run from Laredo all the way to Brownsville ,Tx through hwy 83 which is right at the bottom tip of Texas .AKA - as The Rio Grande Valley , I myself drive a day cab w/48' flatbed hauling lumber for a local lumber yard that is just located about 8 miles from hidalgo , through all these border towns to Laredo . I subscribed to your videos a while back but this is actually the first time I post a comment . Welcome to The Rio Grande Valley . Have a safe trip Indiana jack .
I think I heard you say you live in Tampa. I was born and raised there. I didn't think any trucks went to Tampa. I would love to get a load going back there. I have not been there since '97
indianajacktrucker I don`t blame you. I pulled reefers for a large food redistributor and sleeping with it constantly blaring nonstop, makes for awful sleep.
I have been to Laredo once when I droved for Werner. amazing. never dreamed I be at the Mexican border and that far down in Texas. Hope top go there. again.
JACK, CHICKENS ?!?!?!? This chicken & this egg were laying in bed together. The chicken reaches over & lights up a cigarette. The egg says "Well, I guess that answers that age old question..." !
When I was in the military the motto was "hurry up and wait" when a General was coming to visit we had to paint everything , and I mean everything, fun times, yep..
Well jack, you made the right choice by taking the other load because those folks down there make a habit of lying about everything. I look forward to seeing you safe and sound out of that part of Texas. Not the best place for gringos to go. LOL. If you know what I mean. "The Swede", looks great and I'm looking forward to the trip back to Florida with you. Thanks as always for sharing your adventures on the road.
Lmao good for you, I do the same blasted thing with loads coming across like that lol, I wait only certain amount of time and if not arrived i let um know I'm going and tell um to let mexico driver know he can keep going or give up cause I won't be there to load lol
Chaotic Logic I still don't see how this is legal. next time I go to the store Im going to tell them they have to pay me to take my crap to my house. unreal...
Jeanne Klice I'm curious how long he was held up in that nightmare of a line. Detours like that could be a disaster, (especially in a reefer), if you ran out of fuel. 😱
Hey jack........ did you see any MAN or SCANIA truck in Laredo tx? ..........Many drivers mexicans are driving them to U.S border........... both European trucks are common in some mexican companies.
I worked in a super market for 28 years and sometimes when they trucked in cauliflower. If it was damp they would throw it all out. I was told by the time it was in the produce shelf it would turn black and be no good. Such a waste.
It might be a good idea to tell those who claim something is missing that you just video everything (and store it on the cloud...), including the sealing and breaking the seal so you at least have not to worry about your position!
Hey, Jack, is CB still popular among truckers? I remember back in the 1970's that everyone, truckers and civilians alike, had a CB. I'm just wondering if I bought a CB now, would there be anything to listen to? Thanks.
avlisk Not nearly as popular as they used to be. Depending where you are there are still a fair amount of trucks that have them and use them. When I was on the road, I found most who used them only wanted to talk trash and complain. CB isn’t what it used to be.
Since you're gonna be on those Louisiana roads on which you frequently remind us of the "shaking scale" why not load some onions, tomatoes, and a bit of cilantro? By the time you get to Tampa you can unload ready to eat guacamole. You already have the main ingredient, avocados. All that's required is the mash and mix. Louisiana highways for that and you can increase the loads worth substantially.
Laredo is the no.1 port with Mexico but not because of truck traffic, it is because of TRAIN traffic. And the mexican authorities decide where the train traffic crosses.
I just want to thank you for the videos. Being in a wheelchair all my life made my dream of trucking impossible but through your videos i get to experience it at least a bit. Thank yo so much. keep trucking
Jack you are correct Laredo Texas is the largest port of trade between the United States and Mexico

I find your videos very interesting. Thank you for sharing.
it is nice to see even re-runs by you. Happy Holidays!
I love driving to laredo
Driving to Laredo is great. Going to Laredo sucks.
Nice ride. Glad you have another load going home to FL. Have a great weekend and be safe.
Always fun to watch, thank you sir👍
NEW DRIVERS, when you have a sealed load make sure the receiver verifies and breaks the seal. if they tell you "go ahead and break the seal" tell them no someone needs to verify it. That's how warehouse people will scam you. Ask me how I know.
I'm a new driver thanks for the great info
Trucker Glenn, have they told you about "keeping the big one between the ditches and the little one in your britches"? Congrats on your new job. You truckers keep this country alive. I appreciate you!

Laredo is STILL the busiest truck port in the US
Good point, I forgot about Agriculture checks.
Thank you for the good videos. Stay healthy and stay safe.
Your new truck looks good even if I'm not a big Volvo fan. But, it's always nice riding with you Jack......... thanks.
Lord help me for the gut busting laugh I just had when you showed the "Refers Receiving" door and the mariachi music started......
MaestroDawg65 Timing is everything🤣
Sometimes, Jack goes on a comedy tear!
It was perfect for the scene, bery funny!!👍👍
Love ur vids Jack keep them comming,,,,the Mexican music at begining was the funniest..!!
Bango music cracks me up too... lol.
Palos Garza park out side and walkn to office then pay them 80 bucks sucks thanks for visiting my city
Jack, I always carried binoculars with me. Great for finding addresses, entries/exits and especially helpful when looking for cross streets in cities. Rand can be close but close only counts in horseshoes!

You must be most patient man I’ve ever seen, you don’t get excited about anything. I would explode having to wait like u do !!!

Another great vid Jack you take it steady my friend
I like that shot of the parked trucks in the beginning that features the “Big Blue Screw” truck (Werner).
Great vid jack. Sorry i haven't been up to date on them. Just started school. 🚛🚛🚛
Well Jack, you finally proved to me that you and I are the same kind of Trucker, Old School trying to change to new ways but not putting up with shippers and receivers' shenanigans...""I LOVED THAT PART of todays video.""" I like this MAN always it gives me knowledge 👍
I always wrote Shipper Load and Count. Then have them sign it. It saved me more then one time.
Oh God I know that place where you picked up... Too many CR England trucks and trailers.
That waiting around would drive me crazy
you can't spell???
Yeah um your missing a pallet lol, Colton CA got me on a few different times but now I video record the loading process until the seal is on and video the unloading so I know which company is doing the scamming. Ugh..... good ole' Laredo LOL. Every expediters nightmare! safe travels dude.
Great video as usual. Stay safe.
I delivered to Laredo tons of times and every time i go there it is a nightmare just trying to get unloaded or even just a drop and hook.
Good video Jack.. I thought I saw you in McGee Ms.yesterday.
You may have answered this in one of your previous videos but i was curious to know if your still with Knight or are you picking your own loads now?
Wow that is crazy you were real close to Mexico how is the Swede doing and that is nice that you are going to Tampa that is amazing jack 😀😀😀
I think I heard you say you live in Tampa. I was born and raised there. I didn't think any trucks went to Tampa. I would love to get a load going back there. I have not been there since '97
Do you intend to keep the reefer trailer or will you go back to dry van?
Probably go back to dry van.
indianajacktrucker I don`t blame you. I pulled reefers for a large food redistributor and sleeping with it constantly blaring nonstop, makes for awful sleep.
I hope you have a better experience picking up your Avocados! I always tried to stay away from border loads. Drifter
I enjoy your show.
Great video!!
love the mexican music! Lol
Love that black beauty Jack!! That rig would look good on you lol!!
that camera position makes it seems like you are way over the line. it unsettling to watch
caderly Try being strapped to the front bumper!!!! lol
Oh, that's footage from a SWIFT driving simulator, LOL. 13:48 looks like he's taking out a row of side mirrors. :-)
I have been to Laredo once when I droved for Werner. amazing. never dreamed I be at the Mexican border and that far down in Texas. Hope top go there. again.
Jack, for someone who didn’t like grocery delivery you may have bought the wrong type trailer.
Jerome Baker That's what I was thinking, screw those grocery whses
I’m a local driver here in Laredo and I hate going to that warehouse. The gate guards suck.
When I was last there I had an argument with that very clerk at the window because he did not want to give me a clear signature on my bills.
Great video
Where is the office?
¿Donde esta la oficina?
Seems to be a lot more waiting involved with reefer freight?
Laredo always reminds me why I like to live on this side of the border.
That racing team must have some hellish horse power to compensate ,
Been through Birmingham, Al lately? They have so much construction on all highways.
Try New England. My father says there's only two seasons in New England, Winter and Road Construction. It's true!
I went through it about 6 weeks ago. Insane amount of construction. On the other hand, it's a simply beautiful city!
I went through birmingham just this morning and seen orange barrels all the way up 65 till i got off on I-22
SpiritBear12 correct. As soon as it turns nice in the spring it constant construction. I’m in CT.
Howdy neighbor, I'm in Taxachusetts.
See you in Dallas
JACK,
CHICKENS ?!?!?!?
This chicken & this egg were laying in bed together.
The chicken reaches over & lights up a cigarette.
The egg says "Well, I guess that answers that age old question..."
!
Hey Jack did you have to wash your trailer out. You did not mention it. I know some places have have a wash out.
I knew those caves looked familiar !
hi jack, great video, the music not so much. thanks for the ride be safe out there....
My hometown!
Hey Jack great video once again. Do you have any ideas as to when you're going to make an Indiana Jack The Movie?? Or some type of Part 2 Movie?
When I was in the military the motto was "hurry up and wait" when a General was coming to visit we had to paint everything , and I mean everything, fun times, yep..
Truckers motto is about the same as the Army's Hurry up and wait1
@indianajacktrucker great video are you a owner operator?
Love the vids hate that tick left turn right turn
Well jack, you made the right choice by taking the other load because those folks down there make a habit of lying about everything. I look forward to seeing you safe and sound out of that part of Texas. Not the best place for gringos to go. LOL. If you know what I mean. "The Swede", looks great and I'm looking forward to the trip back to Florida with you. Thanks as always for sharing your adventures on the road.
Careful now, don't go too far south into Florida! Not a place gringos either too many Latinos down there. If you know what i mean! Lol.
Having a good time with the cold box, Jack?
Don't you just love the caves? 😄😄😄😄
The Swede is looking good Jack
hope you are enjoying your new truck------C'mon
Lmao good for you, I do the same blasted thing with loads coming across like that lol, I wait only certain amount of time and if not arrived i let um know I'm going and tell um to let mexico driver know he can keep going or give up cause I won't be there to load lol
Having to pay for ppl to unload their freight is the biggest scam.....that is why i would never do reefer
Chaotic Logic I still don't see how this is legal. next time I go to the store Im going to tell them they have to pay me to take my crap to my house. unreal...
Nice video Jack, feel free to eat my share / part of broccoli, I skip this time to eat it (not a fan of it)
Oley!!! I hate going to Laredo! They think we're in Mexico! Love the song!
Dave Austin lol no Texas/Tejas
How are you enjoying the reefer life Jack?
I would also have asked the worker if hes having chicken tonight. Haha
Dam it i make this route every day pull material for everyone out here from Laredo to San Antonio
That’s quite a backup.
Jeanne Klice I'm curious how long he was held up in that nightmare of a line. Detours like that could be a disaster, (especially in a reefer), if you ran out of fuel. 😱
Oh the "Joys" of trucking! lol
Does the swede have a APU ?
Every day's a holiday, and every meal a feast. Trucking for fun because you're sure as hell not making any money.
Mexico talk at 12:40... 12:45 you were a 1/4 of a mile from world trade bridge into Mexico.
Welcome to world of produce. Hury up and wait.
Hey jack........ did you see any MAN or SCANIA truck in Laredo tx? ..........Many drivers mexicans are driving them to U.S border........... both European trucks are common in some mexican companies.

Do you have A.P.U. on that truck?
Sullivan City
We used to live in the Mission Tx area, miss the Mexican food
Hey, Jack, is CB still popular among truckers? I remember back in the 1970's that everyone, truckers and civilians alike, had a CB. I'm just wondering if I bought a CB now, would there be anything to listen to? Thanks.

If you don't have one installed... you'll find out that it would've been nice/useful to have.
Welcome to Laredo,My Second Home With Landstar
They going to put your broccoli on one of their buddies trucks so they don't have to wait. They look out for another

The produce fun continues.
