    Did that exact same run back in November 2004. Had a culvert collapse under my trailer, effected a self rescue. Then the conveyor electrics (480 3 ph.) messed up. got loaded and had enough time to deliver that night in Buckeye. Scale arrangement was exactly the same at delivery. I was one of the first trucks to ship from there under that new arrangement in Farmington.

    that's how they load corn and unload corn here. hope u had a good Christmas Jack. Me and my family did. My wife's mom is happy that she is moving in with us. We are in Florida and it's nice here. Paperwork is being processed and they should have everything done tomorrow. Then we can head back home to Texas. Mom (Mother In Law is happy that i helped moved everything which is light weight. And everything fit's in the trailer. Mother in law sold her car to a neighbor. She will get a new one when she get's moved in. And be safe driving when it's New Year's Eve. I won't be on the road but will be at friend's. And we will all sleep there.

    Some of the trailers (dry van) type I would fear the sides would swarm. However a Great Dane would be sturdy enough to handle the stress on the sidewalls. I saw just this week where a JB Hunt trailer lost a couple of pallets of Coors Beer the beer came thru the side of the trailer. Hitting a pot hole or some sudden change in travel by the driver caused the mis hap.

    • @MasterWitchDoctor

      couldnt happen to a more deserving company, JB Hunt hurt a lot of independents and to this day I have zero love for that company, he was a PRICK with a capital PRICK.

      I think it was strange dumping loose corn in the box of a truck trailer how did they remove the corn with a shovel just a stupid idea why didn't they use a dump truck o the Indians are so bright not.

    • @jackson_68
      @jackson_68 4 года назад +2

      @@cathy9160 Such an ignorant and bigoted statement.
      Do you honestly think grain would be shipped in a van without means to unload it?
      Had you been around at all, you would know that the receiver likely has a platform which will raise the front of the trailer to unload it.

    I fail to understand why they would not have used a regular grain hauler type trailer instead of you're dry van. The grain haulers either dump or drop thru open doors on the bottom of the trailer. Haul loose corn in Dry Van. Nah. Didn't make sense.

    Weight scales.....Scales of justice....Guilty !!! Sentence is eat all corn in trailer in 5 yrs.
    Gee that road is like the roads on ICE ROAD TRUCKERS ..( Manitoba trucking tv series. )
    The warehouse or shippers should pay the fines for over weight. They did the loading.
    Truckers are being abused abused abused in this area. Weight scales should be free.

    You complain about being overweight but you only 79,000 so your 1000 under. And you complain about shippers and heavy loads but it's not there problem if a truck with a big sleeper full of junk and all steel wheels shows up to load next to a day cab with all aluminum wheels.
