Kal-El reviews the last ever TMC RTS's for New York City Transit. ENJOY!!! Credit Goes where it's given Credit also goes to / caitsith810 for videos!!!
Hey my Driver may have met you! He told me he drove the Last TMC RTS back when he was a Driver at WF. You may have been on his bus! My driver retires next month after a 26 Year long time with the MTA
What's up Bro. Now these are the RTS that I remember. 20 years ago. When I worked as a Outdoor messenger in Manhattan. As well I remember riding in the other Boroughs in the city. Brooklyn Queens. So now What's the difference between the TMC RTS from Private TMC RTS 1100-200-300 and the 2800 and the 3800's
Goodmorning Bro. Did you know that the private Bus lines in Queens had there share of TMC RTS Queens Surface had 200 up 300 Triboro Coach had 2800 Jamaica Bus had 3800 and Greenline had the 1100 TMC. You could'nt open up the window 🪟 as much on them but they where fast. Triboro and Comman Bus had the CNG's TMC RTS .Triboro had some the Methoal Bus. Bus they change them Diesel Buses sir. Besafe sir.
Idk, living in LA county and riding LACMTA buses for a good portion of my childhood, in my POV the RTS just sounds wrong with any other engine that's not the 6V92TA with the V731 transmission. Same with the Flxible Metros I grew up riding, heard one with an L10 and to me it just sounded wrong. 6V92TA and Allison V731 all the way bro. Great job on the video btw. Edit: I really enjoyed the bachata believe it or not.
Is it true that 8565 and 8566 along with 8600-8703 just came brand New with the Series 50 engine just to get New York City ready for the Nova RTS BUSES? Anyway, can you do a review on the TMC RTS BUSES from the Private Lines? If you do, I can barely wait to see it.
I'm still an RTS fan. The MTA needs to bring back all the RTS buses, rebuild 'em and put 'em back in service to give these NEW buses a run for their money.
@@kalelc1996 the RTS takes me back when I was a kid. They were one of my all-time favorite buses. Because they're all developed by Nova bus precisely they're all perfect for service. Unfortunately, all RTS is have finally retired including the new ones in 2019. I'm going to miss all of them.
You brought back so many great memories these buses were fast thank you
Remember as a kid loving those Alcoa wheels lol. Also remember staring up at their exhaust pipes at those heat waves that came off of them mesmerized.
They Had the Alcoa Rims and late 90s they Changed it To The White Ones but why they changed them because they were easy to clean
I Remember taking Those RTS during my High School Years
these RTS's were great. Back in 2007 I rode 8564 on the BX 3. It is sad that they retired but its BS that NONE WERE PRESERVED!!! :(
Another bus that is 8564 runs on the Bx3 lol.
@@WestchesterXBeeline lol that's true!
