- In this video we go over the installation of the LLJ Customs plug and play T-harness for dodge rams 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 with no factory amps. This T-harness is offered in multiple setups for just adding subs and or a 4 channel amplifiers or units like the LC7I from audio control to do full systems.
Harness works on all 2013,2014,2015,2016,2017,2018 RAM trucks (without factory amps) including the Rebel.

I bought this Harness in early 2020 and here is my list of issues.
1. I should have opted for the 4-6 channel loop back.
2. I didn't realize how much more sound I needed.

Just installed this harness in my sons 2016 Ram. Formally having over 20yrs of professional install experience. I can say the build quality of the harness is outstanding. The harness is put together very well. It’s 100 percent OE quality if not better. If your integrating an amp or other audio accessories in your Ram I would highly recommend this harness. It makes the whole process extremely easy. Be patient after you order because they are built to order but definitely worth the wait!

So this indeed works without any issue with uconnect and the factory alpine system, i just need to plug in and play and replace the factory sub box with the fox box and subs/ amp i want.... zero issues all plug and play

Hey there so I have a 2019 ram 1500 and them I put the T harness on it so I can add an amp for bass and now when I turn off my truck the amp doesn’t turn off, the amp is straight on doesn’t turn off, so I have to disconnect from the battery so my question is can you give me han with that?

Hello, we have a t-harness for the alpine system that you can use to add the mono amp. As for the tweeters, Yes you can wire them into the alpine system or you can use something like an lc2i that will provide both a low frequency for the mono amp and a high frequency for an added amp you can use for the tweeters.

Hey there i have a 18 ram Laramie longhorn,3500 .id like to add subs and amp and retain my factory head unit what do you have that will keep the factory sub out level at the box from fading out? I ask because it what happens on my other 18 Laramie 3500 (not longhorn) and i want to fix that one as well(wife’s truck) thanks!
Hello Daniel, for something like that I would suggest our R2G T-harness with a linkDQ. This loc has a parametric eq built in ot that allows you to correct any bass roll off and remains all factory functions as is. You could use the same harness in both vehicles so long as you dont have the alpine or H&K systems.

So if I just want to add 2 subs which one would you recommend?
I want to add subs on my ram for now just like on the video. but in the future I would like to amp the rest of the speakers, what would I need to add when I decide to do that? ( So that I have another 2 RCA's for the speakers amp)
In that situation you would want to get a Loopback harness and tie it together at the ends to close the loop and wire it into a link2 that will give you rca out for you to use. you can then open the loop and add a link6 when you want to add your amp for the doors and dash.

If I was to unplug the harness would the security code have to be put in? I want to do this to my 2017 ram but I cannot find my 5 digit code..on the video your radio came on after replacing the harness...did you edit out the code?
you will want to remove the ground from the battery. if you need the code you can call dodge customer support and with your vin they will help you out. we di not have to deal with the code because we disconnected the negative on the battery.

Once I plug in the amplifier it’ll go to the speakers? If I wanted to add tweeters I’d just splice the front speaker door wire and run it to the tweeters?
Hi billy,this is a T-harness and would not affect your factory system it will just give you the audio signal for a mono amp and remot on. If your amplifying your speakers you would take the signal from your tunning and send that to a crossover or direct depending on if your doing an active system or not.
Maybe I missed it in the video, but he states 2013-17 Ram. Description says 2018...The 2018 has (4) noise cancelling microphones in the headliner. will this harness bypass those?
Hello Shawn, i don't believe we had the ram anc when we did this video. However the ANC is under the seat and uses a separate $13.00 harness to bypass it. The T-Harness is just for providing signal
I have a 2015 ram like the comment below. I had my subs in my 02 ram with an aftermarket head unit with RCA ports. Going to buy this kit for my truck but unsure of what selections i need to make on the website. 2 12s with a 2000 watt amp. Rca cables are already long enough to go to the head unit, and it had a blue wire too, but don't remember whats its used for. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Hello tyler, you would want to select the lp7-2. The blue wire you your amp turn on signal.

Hi Erin, yes it sure does . it sounds like you are doing a full system install. we would recommend that you do an LC7i or an LP7-4. the LC7i will grant you bass restoration and power level adjustment for the amps to operate at optimal performance. the LP7-4 is a more budget friendly unit that supplies you with sufficient signal to operate well.

what harness should I use....LOL that's funny, ha ha ha ! Yer gonna git yerself the maestro harness made for the rr module I think its ch3 and yer gonna have to tap the speaker leads and hook em to a speaker line level output thingy and than run rca to the amps and than run the speaker wires to yer speakers how ever you want! or did you even watch this video??? have fun tryin to do it yerself..

Our loopback system design uses a combination of our shock-wire and factory wires to feed the aftermarket signal back into the factory speakers location from the aftermarket amplifier output

Hi Luis, we offer a T-harness for the Alpine system, this plugs into the Alpine amp. The option we offer works for the 12 speaker system.

Zpwslayer , I just bought a 19 ram bighorn with the 6 speaker and Uconnect. Does yours sound like complete shit? When I turn my volume up it doesn’t get any louder after 20. It sounds extremely distorted after 20 or so. Are you experiencing the same issue???
Yea, esp when I listen to music off of the usb media. It just sounds like ass.

Hello Anthony, for your project we would recommend a Loopback Harness instead. This will have a signal side which will feed into the LC7i and a return side which would be wired to the output side of the 4ch amp, taking that amplified signal back to the speakers, via the factory wiring. No that would be our Loopback Harness style. This is our T-harness design
2014 ram 1500 basic stereo system. So far I have mounted and wired for power and ground a alpine 4 channel amp for 4 door speakers, and 1 mono sub amp. So 2 amplifiers. Would LP7-4 work good? Or would you a LC2i work better? I bought a LP7-4, but I'm worried I might need LC2i. What would be difference between the 2? Thanks for any info.
Hello Glock, for what you are doing and LC7i would be a bear minimum you should be doing. if you do a 4 channel unit you will loss tuning options, also if you tap the 4 front speakers per example you will amplify them in the rear or vise versa. the main deference between the two is the technology and frequency response. The lc2i is the top of the line as far as LOC units go.

Read somewhere people were having trouble when they didn't have speakers hooked up to factory radio. People have no trouble just adding loc to add subwoofer amp. Hello Brody, the difference between the 2 is that the LP7-2r has a gain remote and the LP7-2 does not.

No you can run your own wires from the signal source yo the pac

yes all factory systems have bass roll off. however this tends to be at or past the point of distortion. If the system is properly tuned you do not need to factor in the roll off

Hello Jacob, if you are just adding subs you would use a T-Harness with a link2 if you are doing 2 amplifiers i would suggest the link6 or lc7i with our Elite loopback design
