    Bro, have you been already on the dyno? I'm really curious how this 1.8t manifold works because one custom made intake mani in one m43t in Poland made HUGE difference in powerband on the top. 180hp on 0,4bar from k04-015 turbo and top end like IS dual cam :)

      Thats intresting, no dyno yet, next year maby. Snapped another driveaxel and few weeks ago conrod made a huge hole in the block. So engine needs to come out and a new in.

      @@Packis damn...axles, when you have still small case 168 diff, is nothing to be not expected having probably over 300Nm :) but rod sounds not good when I have in my mind, that those engines are quite industractable under 300hp...maybe too much 2 step? Launch control with als broke the rods for example in 1.8t too - even on stock power engines.

      @@FaworDrifts Or could be we bent a rod earilier this year when we had wastegate issues an boost went over 2bars for a moment. And this type168 diff i do not understan how it still lives, i broke 5 or 6 on my e30 but none axels. With typ188 all good.

      Don't know yet, will be dynoed in the end of summer and converted to e85.... Feels around 200hp

      @@Packis stock has 115,if u do like a 0.5bar or 7.2psi u will get around 170-180

      @@martinbenko8969 With this turbo setup more like 150-160 on 0,5bar around 200hp on 1bar, we have peak 1.2bar. Still not dynoed because of drive axel issues... Last time all the bolts broke clean off, maybe before next summer.

    is it some turbo kit,or custom made?
    if its custom then did u cut the exhaust manifold?

      Custom made, not so much bolt ons for this engine. Plasma cutted flange for the manifold and welded thick wall 90degree bends, not the best but works.

      @@Packis if its work the it doesnt matter haha,i wanna do a turbo manifold too like a custom made cause it has only 1 turbo kit witch is like 1200€ and i dont wanna spend that much money tho

      It is some chinese crap, orginally 340cc but decapped to 760cc still working.

      Also I think your tubing issue is because of the MAF sensor. I’ve seen people re wire them to be in front of the turbo (air in) but I am yet to try it for my self

      @@kmae1146 We have no MAF (or really it is AFM) because of standalone ECU. But myself tried a AMF on aE30 M20 engine in front and after turbo. it responded and work better after the turbo in pressure side.

      Vois sanoo et melkee avaamaton, kansinahka petti ensikokeilujen myötä baarin ahdoilla. Nyt on cometicin peltipahvi ja 12.9 teräs kansipultit. Muuten sisuskalut on kyllä vakiot. Subaru sti vf23 kuulalaakeri ahdin, omatekele pakosarja, vw 1.8t imusarja, kiina 800cc suuttimet ja 044 kiina bensapumppu kerääjä säiliössä. Mega 1 v3 levyllä oleva moottoriohjaus. Ja kaikenäköstä muuta pientä.

    Whats done, standalone ecu? do you use stock o2 sencors and stock maf? or you remove those? can you tune the megasqurt yourelf or you need to pay someone to do it?

      Headgasket and bolts, rest is stock. Standalone megasquirt yes, snd you can tune it yourself. Stock o2 maf removed, not needed. O2 is wideband prosport sensor with gauge.

      @@cabbeh4202 M43B16. Last year 1.3bar no problems. Not been on dyno so no correct horsepower numbers yet. 2 weeks ago we cranked up the boost to 1.5bars, now we need to change the clutch becouse its slipping. But with 1.3 bar no problems. 3yers boosted now.

      @@Packis sorry that I'm 'attacking' (posting :) ) so much, but I'm in progress of turboing my m43b16 too :) It holds 1,5bar but there is any noticable (even on 'buttdyno') gain from it? Cause we had 2 such projects in Poland where boosts above 1 bar were not generating any gains on the top because of 8v head..choking it up.

      @@FaworDrifts yes, it gained mutch more power, it is mutch difference what turbo you are running, this is subaru sti turbo, 280hp stock, and boost 0.9-1.1 bar. And they boost only 1.4bar max, after this the ball bearing turbo will fail, but we will find out, and on a dyno.

      Ei oikeestaa, se on pelkkä sotkunen bemarin kytkenä kaavio johon piirretty kaikki mega kytkentä pinni numerot... Ei siit oikee saa mitää selvää.

      Toistaiseksi vakiolla, joka rupes luistamaan 1,5barin ahdoilla. Tulossa M10 eli 10kg kevyempi vauhtipyörä ja sintteri kytkin paremalla paineasetelmalla. Sitten taas lisää ahtoja.

      @@Packis do you have more pics of this manifold? Stock throttle body fits on it? Cause sounds like very simple upgrade for those crappy m43 inlets :)

      @@FaworDrifts sorry no more pictures, yes stock throttlebody modified to fit, basiclly it is stock botton manifold cut and audi manifold cut and connected with hoses, not easy and best fitment and flow, but it works and mutch easyer to remow then the crappy m43 manifold.

      @@Packis thanks for fast feedback! About throttle body, ofcourse I'm not expecting plug and play but overall this fitting is quite simple or something has to be welded? Asking cause I'm tig welding stainless but not alu

      @@FaworDrifts if i remember correct the newer ones from -95 with plastic oil cap is a diffrent throttle body, i have one of this type, it was fitted on a E30 and it was welded. But this one is older with aluminium oil filter cap and i think the throttlebody is just drilld to fit the audi manifold. And there was two different vw 1.8t manifolds as well. Need to have the right one.
