Thanks for the video, I've got one of these coming tomorrow , a little early Christmas present from my wife . I had the Vorteks Boost for my birthday which is today and it's like Pokémon you got to collect them all . But the big rock has always stood out for me as the king of the 3s line and it seems just like yourself many think the same . I intend on keeping this one standard also as it seems a solid platform.

I’ve watched quite a few reviews now and think I’ll get the Big Rock , I was initially leaning towards the Senton but if the chassis are the same length, give or take, I’ll just get the body. I like the wing mod you did earlier, think that looks cool.
Thanks - you guessed it right, not room to include the Senton as well - i need a bigger workshop and desk 😂 the basic running train is the same on the 3s cars, just comes down to Long Wheel base or Short Wheel base, A Arm length, Tires and Body. Wing mod is pretty nice - think it finishes the trucks off

I see you have lots of videos on the Arrma lineup - have you thought about reviewing recent Redcat models? some of them are Team Magic rebrands, which are really quality (RC-MT10E especially). Kaiju is also gaining lots of the traction due to the value/price. I think it would be nice to expand the reviews

Thanks, your not supposed to notice the small mistake 😂😂 yes the battery tray will take 2x3s or a 6s pack, but you will likely need to change the straps as they are not long enough to go round 2x Turnigy 3s soft packs

Senton with Granite tires may need to cut more of the body away. I guess it really depends what you are looking to do with the car, bare in mind the Typhon, Bigrock and Senton are basically the same car with just different body shells, body mounts and tires, they are all the LWB, Granite is shorter wheel base
Thanks. I haven't been able to run the car yet due to weather, however from what i have seen and heard to SLT-3 doesn't suffer from the STX2 lag issues. Although a cheaper option that is also very good is the DumboRC transmitter and receivers - there is a link to it in my description, i use this when swapping out the STX2

Is you find it a bit wobbly on straights I heard whacking the big spacers in the rear shocks helps, and check the dif oil seen one or two mention of hardly any dif oil, think ima order me a big rock this Friday or next treat myself And someone needs to get them granite wheels on a br

I went to order the br v3 but it’s out of stock till next week then spotted a used outcast 4s with a unused adjustable motor mount what you think should I jump on the outcast? I am a bit of a newbie and it’s gonna be my first serious rc pretty much gonna be off road on trails and woods having a bash about
The Outcast 4s is a great car, but a bit of an animal at the same time, its great for stunts, back flips etc at skate park. The Big Rock is a lot more stable, it will wheelie but you decide more on what it will wheel rather then the truck just doing it 😂 really depends on how much the 4s outcast is and how much of a saving
@@Merciless315 The truck will take 4s as the new v3's are all 4s ready from a running train point of view, but the ESC and Motor will not take 4s so would need to swap them out
If the shocks leak i will just replace with same shocks we have on our Granite and Typhon. Servo seems fine, if it fails i will replace with the £11 we use on our 6s cars.
RC CRAWL my granite typhon and Senton all leaked told Arrma about it they sent me a repair kit they still leaked replaced the granite ones from ones I got from eBay no leaks I don’t want to spend the money for the other two cars I also replaced the servos after they burned out they have a two year warranty but I don’t want to keep replacing them
@@nomusicrc All RCs have their issues (Arrma or Traxxas for example), Arrma have done a ton of upgrades to the 3s line up including fixing the leaking shocks as no leaks on the V3 BRCC, although i may change to the big bore shocks for the 4mm shafts anyway. Not had issues with our 3s servos (6s versions yes) but if i ever have a servo go then i swap out with a £11 DS3225 from Banggood and get a £20 credit on the warranty servo

@@MarioSilva-zv9yv I have heard many good things about Zee lipos, and hardly anything bad, so if you can get them easily enough go for it - just need to make sure that are minimum 5,000mAh capacity and 35c or higher. I also like the Turnigy Heavy Duty 5,000mAh 60c packs from Hobbyking
Ive just ordered one It was a toss up between this and the savage flux xs But ive had trouble with the savage in the past £430 i paid with battery 3s 5000 mah 50c and a charger Can’t wait to break it lol 😂
Great little truck - tough as nail as well, only thing i would suggest you may want to change is the wheels / tires to some badland 2.8's. Could also do the wing mod i have a vidoe on, i think it finishes the truck off and helps to protect the rear of the shell/ body

Im sorry i dont have that charger if battery, i pay for all my cars and batterers so wouldn't be able to review them as dont own them. I do know that Spektrum chargers and batteries are well over priced and the batteries dont actually perform that well. Better cheaper option in my description. Yes the Granite tires will fit on the Big Rock - same size Hex. Tires are the same diameter, just the Granite tires are wider

Sounds like your slipper clutch may be a bit loose. What Lipos are you using ?

I put a 20 year old servo in my granite and it works better (and longer) than the stock one
