Got my 5d iii a few months ago. Love it. And still use a 7d to. I feel both are still relevant in 2024. People should give these older bodies a try. Save a lot of $ to.
I agree on that 💯. These older bodies still have a lot of work in them, and especially from a photography perspective, they are holding up there own against some of the newer cameras 📸
Bought my 5D Mark III at the beginning of 2024. And i'm asbsolutely in love with her. I use the camera for sports (fencing and volleyball) and for concerts. My other camera is a Mark 1DX. Both are still beautiful despite we are living in the ML era.
Glad to hear it man. Love the fact that so many people out there still using these cameras, and I have to say I am impressed with its performance overall. Definitely still a brilliant camera now.
Im still use a 5D mk2 as my backup (my primary body is 1DX) and the 5D mk2 still rocks the boat if you use good glass. There is no reason to upgrade (the most action I see is weddings, and its well good enough for that as well) and no customer ever complained about noise levels or dynamic range. After the 5Dii and 5Diii were released upgrading gear just became a preference, not a necessity. Because good photographic skills and quality glass can handle anything you throw at it.
Been a long time that I had someone think this way, and you absolutely correct in it. Upgrading is not a necessity, but rather a luxury. I also still use a 90D for photography and it is a brilliant camera, even though I have the mirrorless ones, there just that DSLR feel that makes it worth it.
The 250d is a much newer camera, and is more of a hybrid. Where the 5D specializes in Photo, the 250d crosses over into the Video aspects aswell, with the 4K capabilities. Not only that, the technology in the 250d is much more advance. a 2012 vs 2019 camera, good matchup, the 250 would take the lead from a overall standpoint.
And it is still working 💯 to this day? I haven't used it long enough to have experienced any issues specifically with focus. With the testing I conducted, it didn't really give me issues, obviously being accustomed to working with newer cameras, the response is much slower.

I'll buy myself one when I turn 21.
Too late now
It's better than 250d ?

I just bought one for $400 with 6k shutter actuations
That is a great deal for a great camera.
I got it on 2012 never happy with the focus

While the photo camera is really good (we know that), the author's pronunciation is awful.
Thank you for the compliment😏
