I like this guy, this car, and this review!
using cabon fiber, the fact that it is more comfortable, it is faster, the fact that you can see the engine, and the way the doors open. I prefer the design and sound of the 458 spider a little better, though. But they both are great cars. And if I am ever able to afford one of the two, I will chose the 12C. spider.
You should drive a 911 especially the new one, you can't tell the difference between the new electronic steering and the old one. It's just so damn good

always looked at this MP4-12 as the most beautiful current mid engine supercar. Especially like the rear with the tail lights and details in the cabin, like the buttons for setting the car.
And the way the doors cut into the sills very interesting.
In the Ferrari comparison I agree only in engine sound and character, even the McLaren has more torque, I prefer the sharp response of a NA or blown motor.
@torreyb maybe because it has track suspension and transmission settings that sharpen the handling and gear change? He did explain it...
Although I am a hugh Ferrari fan, I don't think I can agree with you that the 458 spider is 10x better than the 12C spider. First of all, the McLaren is faster. Secondly, some automotive journalists, including Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear, have concluded the 12C is a better car than the 458 Italia. I know we are talking about the spider version of both cars here. For me, there are more things that I like about the 12C spider than I do about the 458 spider.
That track was used on one of jeremy clarkson specials.. i just dont remember whitch one

It wasn't that good a test (see a Chris Harris video for inspiration) but the conclusion comparison was very good.
3.8L V8 twin turbo and a reliable 660hp.... McLaren build there own engines
Giving to much throttle out of a corner doesn't mean you can blame it on oversteer

honestly speaking, i think this car could be as good looking, or maybe a bit better than the 458 spider
mclaren is pure engineering, not tech, all cars have "tech".

I personally believe that the MP4-12C looks better and is a better car than the 458. It is better in every way, and the MP4-12C makes the driver look good on the track. The 458 is okay.
What about Toyota Corolla? Minus10?

I've been unimpressed with this car since I first laid eyes on it, but I'm not sure why. The numbers are stellar, its a legitimate 458 opponent, and its slightly more"affordable". But it just does not impress me. Maybe its the design. Maybe its the colors I've seen, or maybe its one of those cars that are much more impressive in person.
He said "British horses" so I pause the vid and look up M838T and sure enough he's allowed to boast that those ponies are branded Brit. After a fashion that is. It is based on the LeMans winning Nissan VRH35 but other than the bore Ricardo has completely re-engineered it.
it's actually 3.8 V8 TT and 616hp lol. cheers
@G55STEYR On one hand everyone has the right of opinion. On the other, have you seen the Huayra? Its Paula Patton's face on Scarlette Johanson's body. This car is indeed quick but quite bland compared to its competition.

I've driven the Mclaren, and I really didn't like it that much, compared to other supercars. Not that it was bad, but it felt more like I was a passenger, not the driver, and in control. Too much techno wizardry, and I felt sedate from the driving experience itself. Lamborghinis, on the other hand, are more brutal, less polished, but I enjoy them more. Just mho.
I beg to differ, I think the McLaren is a lot more of an everyday driver than a 458... if you had the money. I'd be too scared to take my Ferrari out of the garage, but this thing not so much. I was once told by a high end car salesman once, "Ferrari's are like Italian mistresses, they're fast and temperamental" ... The Mclaren is fast, but I think it's a little more... friendly? I like it.

FK ME! One of the worst middle of the road reviews ever. I care more about my gooch hairs current rate of growth than this guy's review. 3.39 minuets of "nearly" completely wasted time. Only saved by the fact that it contained moving images of the car. Thank You. Well done. Good job. Excellent.

This Mclaren 12c spider has no originality. The design of the rear body is like the ferrari 458 italia spider and 458 spider is 10x more better than the 12c spider.....!!!!
This car lacks the visual appeal sought by the market its trying to attract. Lets face it, its targeting Ferrari customers, most of which are self indulgent douches who want to be seen. This car is visually unexciting.
The CONCLUSION is BAD....
