This was, by far, the best review I've seen on the XT4. Not only that, I felt like I was attending a masterclass and didn't want the lesson to end. You've earned my subscription. Keep reviewing with passion. It sets you apart!

I first watched this video about three years ago when I bought my X-T4. I decided to watch it again now because I needed an “inspirational boost.” It was even more powerful and stimulating this time. Your approach to photography is deep and thoughtful and your videos reflect this. They help me reconnect with my “photography self.” Thank you.
saw this video, got the x-t4 as a total fuji newbie, then got even more excited when shooting photos. Mission accomplished, pal2tech! Thanks for sharing your passion, it is contagious :)
Chris, I just want to let you know that your excitement is absolutely felt and shared throughout your videos. You're more than just the guy who shows me and helps me understand the best settings for my Fujifilm camera. You're very detailed there, but you go beyond that. Your videos are simply fun. They're entertaining. You bring a great positive attitude and both your humor and joy are felt through your videos. And I love when you occasionally share how you're feeling at the end of them. You're a real authentic person who has a passion for his cameras and photography/videography, not someone spitting out a list of specs I can find with a quick google search. Keep up the amazing work, man. I'm looking forward to the day you reach 100,000 subs and you share with us the reason you started the channel! It's only a matter of time.
Hey Chris, I received my XT3 yesterday. I am like a kid with a new toy, so happy. I got it for video, including a little gimbal Crane M2 for small lens. Image Quality, Price and form factor were my decision factors. Don´t be sad for the numbers, remember the fight R5/6 vs A7Siii that is been happening outside during those days. My advice for you is just rest. You have been producing a huge amount of valuable material for all of us and you have been a very good example to your son about how is to live with passion, love for your activities, curiosity that put you in motion for knowing how the things work and generosity for sharing. Muchas Gracias!!!
That's wonderful Martin!!!! GREAT choice and the Crane M2 I hear is awesome. You are going to get some great footage for sure. Please keep in touch and thank you for the kind words my friend!!!! 🙏
Probably the only guy whom I can listen to about tech gear for 33 minutes, and let the time go by without any notice. So entertaining and super insightful. You've got me into it again. Thanks for your dedication and kindness to share your knowledge.
One of the best reviews I’ve seen. You earned another subscriber. I’ve been using the X-H1 for about 3 years, but it’s been discontinued now, and I want another IBIS camera. Thanks for the great review.
@Paul Jones I was going to mention that it's close to FF levels, particularly the Sony a7 III and Nikon Z6. However, as I mentioned, for the ergonomics and APS-C form factor, as well as the hybrid features of video (if one cares about those things) then I do think it's good value. However, yes, you are correct in that it's approaching (by maybe $200 or so) FF prices on some models and if I could edit any part of this video (YT won't all me to), I'd definitely add this point in for sure. I appreciate your feedback!
"Shoot with your heart, not your gear." is such a meaningful sentence. I am excited to start with the X-T4 and already have ideas which my old Camera just cannot perform. But the Idea and the joy of taking pictures will always be the exciting part of why I love photography. Thank you!
I'm a musician rather than a photographer. With no live gigs at present I've been spending more time recording, and have started to branch out into video production (yes, the dreaded RUclips music video), so I've been researching video cameras (my daughter loves Fujifilm cameras). I just happened to stumble across this video. What a wonderful experience to watch your video! Thank you! lots of fun, too!
I've been binge watching reviews of the XT4 for the past couple of months (trying to justify holding on to it or if I need to let it go- mainly because of the overheating issue since I do mostly videos. I've owned it and use it professionally for a bit more than a year. This is the first time I watched your review (after watching countless hours of your XT4 tutorials). The message at the end really hits me. All this time I've been looking at the issues I have with the XT4 and it makes me forget how much fun I have when I use this camera compared to other cameras. Thank you.
I loved your thoughtful conclusion. Yes there are a million reviewers on RUclips, but your style is unique and thorough, and I think you have a great gift with clear concise explanation with humility and humour. I learned many little things from your videos and I changed some opinions after watching your videos, so please keep them coming.
As a fujifilm user for nearly twenty years, my last upgrade being the X-T2 when it was released, like you in this video with the X-T4. I have spent the last seven or so years using that camera, the 18-55mm and a grip with six batteries. I have been as happy as a lark. I must have shot quarter of a million photographs with that set up. It still delivers top quality images. When something is good by any test, it remains good regardless of what comes next. The X-H1 and X-T3 did their best to piss on my parade, but they were soon forgotten. The X-T2 continued to be an excellent camera, and the 18-55mm continued to be the best kit lens any brand has ever produced (clue: it is not a kit lens lol ... try explaining that to some people). I promised myself that one day the lauded X-H1 would be affordable, and then maybe I would get one. So seven years or so later I have one, I also invested in the trinity red flag zooms. I feel that I have earned it. The instant gratification I could have had seven years ago, is now a delicacy to be savoured. The lenses are mind boggling on both bodies, the X-H1 a joy to use with it's gentle shutter. Your review was quite evocative. I have been enjoying photography all my life, developing and printing my own photographs in times gone by. Before IBIS and auto ISO (Ilford 400asa). Thus the ending resonated hard with me. You shot the X-T2 on the pier. I guessed it was on a gimbal practically before you posed the question. I felt a pang in my heart, for my beloved X-T2, I felt for a moment like I have been banging the babysitter or something using the X-H1 and it's IBIS, which is why I bought it to go with the my XF16-55mm and 8-16. I am old, my hands are not rock steady like they used to be. So you may be asking, why the heck it this sentimental old git looking at review of the X-T4? Well... my desire is to have some fun with video before I check out. I want a DJI gimbal... bit of a cock up getting the X-H1 it is just one step too far behind the technology. Damn. I am fully set up for video, ND filters etc etc. Your advice has been second to none. All the good things everyone else says about you are true, I will spare you the repetition. Thanks for the review, for the sake of not much, a used X-T4 looks like a better deal than a similar X-T3 for the battery alone. That's me done, I will proceed with a big fat Fujifilm Velvia smile on my face... thanks. 🙂
Oh lawd! I clicked on this randomly in the feed and when I read the title I was like wait what, wait... what??? He did it!! Nice intro, now ima gonna sit down and watch :D
*Ok follow up - I'm a bit biased but screw it* - this is the best video review of the X-T4 on RUclips. You know how I know? Because I've watched the rest of them 😂 yes, all of them. But it's unsurprising because it's clear you are a master at video production and it shows here :D you sir, are a true professional and I salute your dedication to create exceptional content with a twist, out of the kindness of your heart. Speaking of heart, that last bit where you said shoot with just your heart not the gear, man, that really got to me. If there's one thing I'll take away from this video, it'll be that. I just wanted to say an honest thanks, for all the work you've put into this, it was well worth the wait. Oh and, there's no such thing as a "failed opener" for your videos ;)
OK, WOW!!!!!!! Thank you so much!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏. That really means a lot to me and you've totally made my day!! I hope to see you again soon around this electronic campfire!!!!
This is not just a another camera review, it's about your great efforts to share your thought and personal experience of photography and filming, most importantly is your passion and joy that make me enjoy watching your video and learn things from you. You are inspiring. Keep it up. God bless.
Well done, I end up using my Sony a lot for video because having IBIS is a boost for me. Feel like the XT4 with the 16-80 combo would be a great video all rounder!
Yep, most definitely. Believe it or not, I still love the 18-55mm overall even over the 16-55 when you consider price, video, OIS, weight, etc. 16-55 is like having four prime lenses though.
It’s a plague with almost all American reviews. Spending half the video repeating the title and then another 20 minutes telling us what they are about to tell us. In Australia it’s called crapping on
The Smallrig L grip for the X-T4 makes the X-T4 feel just like an X-S10 which has arguably the best ergonomics of any camera so far. I love my SmallRig L grip and it allows one handed shooting and the tripod mount on the bottom really is great.
thank you 4 your videos, i watch you for month now and im really happy you do this videos. im to poor to get one of these fujixt4 cams but to see you having this nice gear and work with it, makes me happy!
Thank you so much Brandon!!! 🙏 🙏. That really means a lot to me and you've totally made my day!! Please do keep in touch and I know you'll be doing some excellent things with your camera!
Chris, I discovered your channel in the last month and I really love your videos! I recently have sold my Olympus E-M1 kit, which I have loved for years and have made the move to the Fuji X-T4. I have absolutely no regrets! I also bought the X-E4 for casual family photography and street photography. As well, I have the 18-55, 16-80, Viltrox AF56 and a few other prime lenses. I’ve been shooting photography for years and consider myself an advanced amateur photographer. However, it’s only been lately that I’ve really gotten into video and I’m learning more about all of the different features. I would like to know which gimbal you were featuring in this video when you showed your gimbal for a moment. On another note, I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated your “Mother’s Day video“ for 2022. I found it very insightful and inspiring. Very nice words.
Bro, just watched your video and loved it. I've been doing my research and and I found about this came and decided to really see what it can do. I'm not even new to the hobby, in fact, this is my first camera, which I bought today by the way. And I loved your video because you add details the some other reviewers didn't mention, your tests were very indepth, not to mention you do have a contagious personality that makes us even more interested in the subjects, it's clear you're very passionate about. This is a 2 years old video and you obviously continued because you see value in what you do. And I just want to say I see it as well and you're doing a great job.
Chris I am still a novice (2yrs) who recently upgraded from XT-3 to 4. So I just watched this in Feb 2022. I am subscriber and Patreon so was intrigued to hear you talk about the same malaise that our friend Oscar Gonzales was taking about more recently. Glad you found your way through to other side and still doing what you do 👍😉
New cameras are just too expensive for me since covid19 came. And I've been quietly telling myself to just shoot with my heart with my 7 year old gear. Keep telling myself to not feel jealous when others are buying gears everytime a new one enters the market. That mantra has not failed me yet. To hear it coming from a RUclips channel, reviewing cameras, is super refreshing. And when I've saved enough, I will come back to this channel to see what new gear you'll be recommending. Thank you for this review.
This is one the very best reviews I have ever seen! Really outstanding. Thank you! I bought a XT3 in November 19 and it is my first ILC. Then the XT4 was launched and I got a bit upset. It has a flip screen, IBIS and a better autofocus. All I wanted for the XT3. But you sir showed me that I did absolutely nothing wrong with the XT3. Both are great cameras and what really matters to take a great photo is the photographer. Thank you for the great review and a half an hour of entertainment. (And of course your other videos are really great as well.. just to mention) ;)
You are the first one to mention the HDR on the X-T4. Every video that I have watched went through every feature on the camera and skipped the HDR setting. Thank you! I absolutely love your passion.
The best review on the X-T4 I've seen. Answered every question as I sold my X-T3 to buy one and I have the Viltrox lenses. Thanks you really helped me.
Wow Alistair!!!! Thank you so much man!!!! 🙏 🙏. That really means a lot to me and you've totally made my day!! Please do keep in touch and I know you'll be doing some excellent things with your new XT4!
What you said about it's your passion and not your gear that matters is the best thing I have heard in all the camera review videos on RUclips : literally every one of them analyses in minute detail all the specs and functions, which little bit and pieces they don't and all the rest of it. But after all it is not the camera, it is the photographer that matters. A photographer with passion will shoot better pictures with an iPhone that one using the most expensive camera with passion. It is great to hear from someone who knows what photography is about and not someone who plays with cameras. You are great.
At first I thought you were overdoing it but the longer I watched the more I realised that you absolutely love photography and it is passion, not cheesiness. Thanks a lot for your knowledge and you earned my subscription. Keep it up please!!!!
Absolutely outstanding review. You are an incredible host and storyteller. Choked up in a camera review? Get out of town! Thank you for the technical content and the heartfelt ending.
You are so down to Earth explaining the XT4. I just brought one, as a beginner. I want to learn all the bells and whistles. Then I can decide what area of photography and filming I want to engage in,
I just want to say that for maybe 3-4 days straight I've been watching videos about the Fuji X-t4, and I just want to say that I really really enjoyed your review, and it's helped me add more perspective as I weight his camera against others! Thank you for all your hard work. I truly appreciate it :)
That's so AWESOME to hear Lenona!!!!! Thank you and I really appreciate the kind words. I'm sure you'll get some amazing shots on your XT4. Good luck and happy shooting!!!
Thanks Chris!! I have to agree with everything here. I got my XT-4 and love it for all the same reasons. But what I really had to agree with was your last statements about shooting with your heart, not your gear. I do find myself, especially shooting clients that have expectations of poses they've seen, or lighting they like that I did for others, getting bored sometimes. I love setting up shoots that are for me. It invigorates and refreshes me. Anyway thanks for another great video! PS- I love seeing your family in the videos. Give the Mrs a squeeze for me!
Hey I know this video is a year old, but furthers my point. You are the only youtuber on all of RUclips going into detail about fuji cameras. So thank you very much and please keep it up. Know that you are appreciated and needed. Yeah I Subscribed
It's past bedtime because tomorrow I have to work to pay for the XT-4 I recently bought. But here I am, in Brazil, with Google Translate open to type this message for you, Cris. My sincerest thanks for all the knowledge shared on the channel, where you can see that you put your heart. This ending moved me and its objective was activated: it captivated me even more to explore the equipment, but more than that, to explore the world outside and feel it. Your channel has been a habit in my daily life. Study, learn and have fun. Thank you so much, friend!
You’ve got such a lovely warmth about you, it’s really enjoyable watching your videos. I’m waiting to get my T-X4 at the moment. I was torn between going analog or digital but I think for a first camera that I need to be able to film short films on as well as street photography, it’s a great choice, and it still has that vintage vibe I love
I’ve been watching review videos ad nauseam for this camera and I can say this is far and away the best one I’ve come across. Loved the final thoughts and outro as well. Happily subscribed right after I finished watching.
Thank you for the great overview! I got this XT4 as my first camera largely because of you, Fujifilm was not even in my initial looking at cameras. I wanted a Canon but ....got this.
I love that you said buy the gimbal vs the XT4, depending on the type of photography you do, to be very refreshing. The best illustration that you are giving an honest review vs a manufacturer shill. Good job.
Best Fuji xt4 review I've seen and believe me, I've watched A LOT! Thanks so much! Still undecided about purchasing one since my xt3 meets most of my needs for now....
Wow, thanks! Yeah, no need to get the XT4 Tammy ... the XT3 is a WONDERFUL camera and my main go-to. Hold out for X-T5 if XT3 is already giving you what you need. Great seeing you here again and hope you had a great weekend!!
I love that you waited to do this review. It might not be the greatest for maximizing youtube views but it makes a world of difference in terms of quality for an educational review
Thanks Victor!!! I'm really glad to hear that. I actually had my doubts waiting this long but glad to hear you do think it was worth it. So many reviewers just crank out these videos so fast -- I don't know how they do it!!!
Last 3 minutes was awesome!! Not that you didn’t help me to decide to keep my XT3 or buy XT4, that was good too (by the way I am keeping my XT3). Thanks for great content.
Thanks so much for your post. I’ve had my XT-2 for 5 years and will never stop using it, but I recently found a very good used copy of an xt4 that was too good to pass up and I’m trying to learn some of the differences and upgrades. I’m excited about the battery upgrade and IBIS (especially as I shoot manual vintage lenses). Thanks again! I enjoy your channel.
Thanks Bruce!!! 1. Awesome comment 2. I re-read it again because it's so awesome. 3. You ROCK. 4. See you soon again around this electronic campfire pal!!!
Just switched from an a6400 to this with the 16-80 and I’m blown away already how much better the video is already. 4k 60 is gonna be a game changer this winter (filming snow sports) 🎉🎉
@@lordkingston depending on what your shooting the photos I would say are similar shooting raw with similar megapixel not gonna be much difference. But the video on the XT4 blows the a6400 out of the water and I’ve only had it about 2 weeks. Plus it has ibis which helps always the a6400 doesn’t
Chris, you hit this one out of the park, especially the last segment. I'm a long-time (stills) pro and that whole career was really just "selling" the energy and heart I'd put into a client project. I also taught public school elementary for a while in the middle of the 40 or so pro photo years.Teaching was wonderful, too: showing kids that caring, passion and fun go together. The SKILL to learn was what made the reward (fun) possible.
You are giving us amazing content with great style. I love your channel and I learn from you a lot. I'm a hobbyist photographer with X-T3 and I shoot with my heart and see the image before pressing the shutter 🥳
I'm considering since some time the X-T4 after last sommer I've sold my X-H1 and saw lot of videos about this camera, but I've only found yours now. I'm a fan of this camera design and the features I could get is incredible, despite I've never reached the limits of the H1 as a hobby photographer. Thank you for this cool review! You are great, keep it up! :)
another excellent review and recommendation. Thanks! After owning XT4 for 2 months I returned it and got XPRO 3 instead as I couldn't get used to the floppy articulating thing.
Keep it up! I bought my the XT-3, its my lifetime camera ( for me it was a lot of money) six monthts ago, and I'm still learning to use it. Love what you do arround here. It helps me a lot. Keep it up!
You are so inspiring and youtubers need people like you to know everything about cameras so they can be great. I'll be watching all your videos about my new X-T4!! Thanks a lot from Québec!
Been a subscriber for a few months and this is the best video you have done. Very concise with all the features and your thoughts them all. And the end was perfect. Shoot with your heart not your gear. Perfect.
Bless you Chris for your wholesome content and teaching videos. I stumbled upon your channel yesterday while searching for Fuji XT4 reviews, since I have one on order. I loved your presentation and simplicity of explaining stuff so that even beginners can get into the hobby with ease. A lot of things you say about the love of photography resonates with my views at an almost "spiritual level". I appreciate your commitment to the art of photography and thank your contribution. 🙏😊
Went here for a review, stayed till the end, cried a bit there and felt motivated. Thank you for reminding about heart, passion and that I just need to DO IT :) You do you, I will do me, but the most important thing here is to DO :)
X-T4: my favorite video camera...hands down! The most fun to shoot, the best results with the least effort. Now, let's have the X-H2! We've been waiting a LONG time!
Perhaps somebody else has already made this point but I just wanted to say that switching between video and stills without having to change the settings is possible on the xt3 even without that dial, just have it in "Silent Movie Mode". Then you set aperture, ss, iso etc using the touchscreen when in video mode and when you switch back to any of the photography modes, it reverts back to physical controls. I didn't know about this until I saw Thomas Heaton doing it in a video and asked on reddit how it was done. It means that the scenario you describe at the start of this video, being set up for video and spotting an opportunity for a still, or vice versa, was already possibly on the XT3.
Wow, thanks! Maybe one day, that would be AWESOME!!! Right now they don't even know I exist, LOL!!! Anyhow, cheers to you sir in Malaysia (I've been a lot in Kuala Lumpur) and I look forward to seeing you more around here!
Dude... verry nice, in depth review Not as sterile as a lot of the other ones on RUclips and superbly informative Thanks for the quality content 👌 Edit: The end made me subscribe. This was much more than just a gear review
You answered the question that I had been trying to figure out since the XT-4 came out concerning stabilization. That an XT3 at $999 with a $400 gimbal gives better stabilized footages than a $1700 XT4 with IBIS. Thank you!
I went with the same route but figured out that Ronin SC with X-T3 is smooth only with stabilized lenses. So I exchanged it for the X-T4 and now it's smooth even with a 50mm prime.
Great video! You also gave me really useful advice when I asked about the 16-55 vs 16-80 as my first lens purchase in another video (I went with the 16-55). Look forward to learning a lot from this channel!
Don’t shoot yourself in the foot .Beside the guy from Toronto and the British Reviewer you are the absolute best and you know your stuff...keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for this. I have watched many of your videos in the past few days and just ordered, after much debate, a X-T4. I am selling my Nikon gear from years ago, so this is a big shift for me :). I love what you said in the end, that you can get other excited about their passion and if a new camera can get you to do that, great (exactly what is happening to me).....and to shoot with your heart and not your gear. So true. I an so thankful for you, as you break down things and gadgets in a way that I could never, ever do (nor would I want to!). I will be watching so many more of your videos as soon as I get my camera! Thanks again!
One really awesome thing about the X-T4 is that the price of the X-T3 dropped enough ($999) for it to be a no-brainer upgrade for me from the X-T1. Was able to use the extra money I would spent on the X-T4 on a new lens, the almighty 16mm f1.4! Win win for so many that want to get into Fujifilm system. Btw still keeping the X-T1 since the resale value isn't all that great.
This is like the best review in the history of reviews. I SO appreciate your conclusion. Thank you for bringing the discussion back to focusing on the art. I own the XT-4. It’s an awesome camera. It has helped me focus on being creative. Thanks for a great review.
Hey Richard! Thank you so much for such kind words! You totally made my day, or perhaps even my entire month or maybe even year. That means so much to me to hear and please stay in touch around this electronic campfire. Have a great weekend and we will see you next week! Cheers!
Man you put into words what makes all this worth it, the passion and the fun of shooting. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this channel your videos inspire me to get out and shot.
I stumbled across this when looking for XT4 reviews. Fantastic. A grown up speaking to other grown ups. And extremely helpful. Adios, XT2, hello, XT4!Thank you!
Thank you for a very good review! Special thanks for the last wise words at the end!!! I am a happy X-T4 owner and I just want to shoot more videos with it. Now, I am also one of your subscribers.
Thank you so much Harri!!! That's so awesome to hear and I know you are going to get some AMAZING shots with your camera!!! Please keep in touch with me here around this electronic campfire!!!

Thank you.
What a story teller 🥰 love your voice, love your experience and the way you talk the conclusion !
Thank you so much my friend! 🙏 🙏
I loved your thoughtful conclusion. Yes there are a million reviewers on RUclips, but your style is unique and thorough, and I think you have a great gift with clear concise explanation with humility and humour. I learned many little things from your videos and I changed some opinions after watching your videos, so please keep them coming.
I am a new photographer from Dubai City. I bought every single thing u mentioned in this channel to me you are the best reviewer! good luck
Hahaha!!! Thanks!! Nothing like the pure randomness of RUclips. 👍
Dear Chris
That last 3 minutes was the best advice ever.
And your Channel is bubbling with infectious excitement, so thank you.
Yep.. I approve your comment...! He's good.!
OK, WOW!!!!!!! Thank you so much!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏. That really means a lot to me and you've totally made my day!! I hope to see you again soon around this electronic campfire!!!!
@@pal2tech lmao @ 'electronic campfire' ... love it
@@pal2tech Yessir on deck 😂 much obliged 🙏
This is not just a another camera review, it's about your great efforts to share your thought and personal experience of photography and filming, most importantly is your passion and joy that make me enjoy watching your video and learn things from you. You are inspiring. Keep it up. God bless.
Thank you so much!! That means so much to me. All the best to you!!!! 🙏 🙏
I have the xt4 with the 18-55 (stabilized kit lens). What a great video combo. Best I’ve used. I love it more than the GH5, a7iii, 6600.
This whole video should have been just the last three minutes. So important that we all keep that in mind. Nice work!
Thank you so much Patrick!!! Great idea... that would have made the editing a LOT easier, that's for sure!!! 👍
@@pal2tech I came for the review but left with more wisdom. ;)
It’s a plague with almost all American reviews. Spending half the video repeating the title and then another 20 minutes telling us what they are about to tell us. In Australia it’s called crapping on
3 months of pure hard work n devotion in 30 min. Thanks, Chirs for motivating review.
My pleasure!! Thank you Balaji!!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words!!! 🙏
Photography isn't a cheap game, I hear you loud and clear
I love your stuff Pal. You’re tutorials have helped me out so so so much. Keep it up and congrats on the growth!
Thank you so much for the wonderful words and great point!!! Yes, you are 100% correct and your mantra will NEVER fail you!!!!
That conclusion was so heartfelt, wow. This was a great breakdown of the camera. Subbed!
Thank you so much! 🙏
Thank you so much!
You are the first one to mention the HDR on the X-T4. Every video that I have watched went through every feature on the camera and skipped the HDR setting. Thank you! I absolutely love your passion.
Thank you so much!!!! 🙏 🙏
Thank you so much! 🙏
Oh my gosh that ending touched me so much I almost cried.😢
Thank you so much Michael!!! Most definitely will do. Take care out there pal and stay safe!!!
Thank you so much Rafael my friend! I'm so happy to hear that and please keep in touch!!! 🙏 🙏
You are the best camera reviewer on RUclips- hands down. Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge! The Fujifilm X-T4 is in my near-future 🙏
Wow, thank you! That means a lot to me to hear. You are awesome Christian!!!!
Thank you for the great overview! I got this XT4 as my first camera largely because of you, Fujifilm was not even in my initial looking at cameras. I wanted a Canon but ....got this.
Wow, thank you so much for the kind words!!! How are you liking the XT4 so far? Any great lenses yet?
Prof. Fuji, your intro was inspiring enough......keep doing what you do. Brilliant.
I love that you said buy the gimbal vs the XT4, depending on the type of photography you do, to be very refreshing.
The best illustration that you are giving an honest review vs a manufacturer shill.
Good job.
As always, thanks a lot the review. The conclusion was pure class. Stay frosty dude and i am looking forward to the tutorials👊👊👊
Always! And thank you!
That is so far THE BEST X-T4 review on RUclips! Thank you for your work and greetings from Fujifilm Ukraine crew)
Thank you so much!!!! That means so much to me and I really appreciate your taking the time to share your kind words. All the best to you sir!
@@pal2tech thank you! I'm taking your advice!
Loved how you closed out the video. This is something I recently started doing(video) and the XT4 is the only camera I own right now.
what else can I say, you are one of the best example for doing something with the heart..!!
Thank you thank you thank you!
The conclusion is what i need to hear!!! Love ur videos
Juan!! Thank you so much my friend!!!!! 🙏
Last 3 minutes was awesome!! Not that you didn’t help me to decide to keep my XT3 or buy XT4, that was good too (by the way I am keeping my XT3). Thanks for great content.
Thank you so much Ali!!! Very kind of you to say my friend!
#1 IBIS
#2 flippy screen
#3 battery
So heartfelt at the end. Thank you.
Thanks Bruce!!!
1. Awesome comment
2. I re-read it again because it's so awesome.
3. You ROCK.
4. See you soon again around this electronic campfire pal!!!
Much more useful than many other xt4 reviews... Very well done Mr. Pal2tech and thank you very much!
My pleasure! Thank you Ulrik!!!
Just switched from an a6400 to this with the 16-80 and I’m blown away already how much better the video is already. 4k 60 is gonna be a game changer this winter (filming snow sports) 🎉🎉
oh, i was just thinking of whether to get an a6400 or this XT4.... overall, you would recommend the XT4?
@@lordkingston depending on what your shooting the photos I would say are similar shooting raw with similar megapixel not gonna be much difference. But the video on the XT4 blows the a6400 out of the water and I’ve only had it about 2 weeks. Plus it has ibis which helps always the a6400 doesn’t
The conclusion was the best part of this video
Thank you so much!!! 🙏
Thank you so much Jonathan!!! Wow, you really had the most important job (teacher) in the world. Much respect to you sir!!!
You are giving us amazing content with great style. I love your channel and I learn from you a lot. I'm a hobbyist photographer with X-T3 and I shoot with my heart and see the image before pressing the shutter 🥳
That's so wonderful to hear Kevork!!! Thank you so much and all the best to you my friend!!
Brilliant. So helpful, thanks!
Must be the best review video ever not only one a photo camera, but on anything. Amazing. Thank you so much. Subscribed.
The best reviewer I have seen ever, I loved what you said near the last few seconds of the video about to get out there to shoot and enjoy.
Thank you for all the great tips on the XT4 because of your passion and attention to detail the XT4 was a no brainer for me and I love Fujifilm!!
another excellent review and recommendation. Thanks! After owning XT4 for 2 months I returned it and got XPRO 3 instead as I couldn't get used to the floppy articulating thing.
Yeah, that flip screen thingy is DEFINITELY not for everyone. XPro3 is an awesome camera also!!
Keep it up! I bought my the XT-3, its my lifetime camera ( for me it was a lot of money) six monthts ago, and I'm still learning to use it. Love what you do arround here. It helps me a lot. Keep it up!
Thank you!!! I'm sure you get some great photos on it!! Hope to see you soon again here Bruce!!
You are so inspiring and youtubers need people like you to know everything about cameras so they can be great.
I'll be watching all your videos about my new X-T4!! Thanks a lot from Québec!
Best X-T4 review I've watched! Thank you!
Wow, thanks Kevin!
Have already seen plenty of xt4 reviews but your one although quite late was probably most awaited for. Many thanks 🙏
Thank you so much Andrzej!!! That's very kind of you my friend!
Been a subscriber for a few months and this is the best video you have done. Very concise with all the features and your thoughts them all. And the end was perfect. Shoot with your heart not your gear. Perfect.
Dax!!!! Wow! Thank you so much!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏. That really means a lot to me and you've totally made my day!! Please do keep in touch.
I recently purchase a xt4 and I love it, it has some many options, I'm from Colombia and shooting with a fuji xt4 is a dream.
I really needed this ending. I was getting too caught up in the decisions about what gear to use.
Fuji should make you as an ambassador!
The way you tell about the camera is amazing, simple but easy to digest
Cheers from Malaysia!
Wow, thanks! Maybe one day, that would be AWESOME!!! Right now they don't even know I exist, LOL!!! Anyhow, cheers to you sir in Malaysia (I've been a lot in Kuala Lumpur) and I look forward to seeing you more around here!
Dude... verry nice, in depth review
Not as sterile as a lot of the other ones on RUclips and superbly informative
Thanks for the quality content 👌
Edit: The end made me subscribe. This was much more than just a gear review
You answered the question that I had been trying to figure out since the XT-4 came out concerning stabilization. That an XT3 at $999 with a $400 gimbal gives better stabilized footages than a $1700 XT4 with IBIS. Thank you!
Awesome!! Yeah, that's a good combo for sure!
This whole video was excellent, but that ending was (is!) an important reminder. Thank you!
That's awesome Vittoria!!! Let me know if you ever have any questions. You're going to get some amazing shots!!! Cheers!!!
Absolutely and well said Simon!!! Agree completely!
That is just so awesome to hear!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! 👍
Brilliant , Chris ,you are a total star ,no bullshit ,just honesty , superb presentation of a comparison of product .
Wow! Chris Thank you so much!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏. That really means a lot to me and you've totally made my day!! All the best to you and please stay in touch!!!
Just in terms of video and AF speed, what specific lenses do you recommend (guessing 18-55, 23, and 50mm)?
I stumbled across this when looking for XT4 reviews. Fantastic. A grown up speaking to other grown ups. And extremely helpful. Adios, XT2, hello, XT4!Thank you!
Thank you so much Chris!!!! Great to see you here and...welcome aboard! 👍
A VERY GOO review, honest, straight to the point and most importantly, motivational. Thanks Chris!!
