pwnageseb The loop hurts but I love this ride. And yet I'm scared of X2, it's the only ride I've ever ridden only once. The ride I've probably ridden the most is Goliath, and the ride I've ridden least? Green Lantern, or Riddler's Revenge. For specific reasons I won't say.

I agree. That’s why I like the Superman Ultimate flight rollercoaster at Six flags great adventure because the pretzel loop is right in the beginning of the ride. Once you pass that, everything is fine.

One amazing thing about this ride is how the station is atop the mountain. When you go up the lift hill, it seems like it's really short (which it is), but then you see the hill vanish below you and all that's between you and the drop below is a restraint...

I rode this for the first time last night! I was so scared to go on it, I almost cried waiting in line but it's actually really fun!! If you're scared to ride it, TRUST ME it is so fun. I think it's better to ride it at night for your first time because it's really pretty to see all the lights everywhere, it kind of distracts you from the nerves. I guarantee I will go on this ride every time I go to MM from now on.

@@Lilah123-e2i The only part that scared me was the bottom of the first drop because I didn't expect it to feel like I was going to go flying into the ground. Just caught me off-guard the first time I rode it. The pretzel loop isn't scary but WOW it's intense!

I've been terrified of going on roller coasters my entire life. My brother said we'll hit the easiest ones first. Took me on X2 and then Tatsu. That pretzel loop was the greatest feeling I've ever felt in my life. I am no longer scared of roller coasters at all 😂

Then you know how astronauts feel! They also lie on their backs and have much pressure. Right there at the bottom, you also lie on your back like in bed, only that you got all the Gs. Does someone know how much G there are right there? :D
I haven‘t had the opportunity to ride a fly coaster yet, but it must be the best. Also you can make inverts for an extended time, because you are not flipped around heads-down. You are only lying on your back and can do that for a long time without all the blood vanishing into your head. That‘s the only reason why that loop is possible. In a regular coaster it would push all the blood into your head.

That loop has some of the most incredible G Force I've ever felt on a rollercoaster in my life.
I will never forget that G force of the loop. It was the most intense coaster experience of my life!
I was screaming through out the entire ride until the pretzel loop. For some reason my voice dropped like 5 octaves on that loop. Tatsu is my fav ride there
As someone who has been to Magic Mountain many times I will warn first time visitors: It gets extremely hot and you will get dehydrated and sunburned unless you plan ahead. I'm not exaggerating either - it gets so hot that the majority of lines will be filled with people in clothing soaked in sweat competing for the few misters along the line and the lines for the two water rides in the park are 2-3 hours long because people are that desperate for some cooling. Tatsu is cool. The front flip inversion on this coaster has very high G forces and almost made me black out. My vision went to a tunnel and came back out as we came out of the loop. I think it was more my fault than the coaster's though because I hadn't properly hydrated through the day.

H. John that's exactly what happens every time I ride it. Most people are silent for most of the ride, but then they see the loop and instantly start shrieking.
@@riley9703 I just rode this beast yesterday and can honestly say the same. Everyone was like "wheeeee" then this shit comes out of no where.
This video doesn't do that loop justice. Its so fucking massive and to see it seconds before is comes is just thrilling every single time. It completely disorients you. The entire first passsnger row of a train pulled back into the station blacked out from that loop.
I was so scared to ride this, but it ended up being my favorite ride in the park. If you have an opportunity to ride this amazing ride, don't chicken out.
That loop was so intense it pushed my soul out of my body and I had to run to the station to get my body back after the ride

One of my favorite rides not just at Six Flags, but ever. That pretzel loop from 1:30-1:37 is positively terrifying and sends a rush of blood to my head, but I love it every time! An A+ roller coaster.
When you go through the reverse frontal loop, that's what death feels like.

That reverse loop is absolutely nuts, I remember the first time I rode this bad boy I remember thinking how I had never felt anything like that.
This ride is the best ride I’ve ever been on hands down. I was scared shitless at first to ride this but once I went on it, at some point it felt like I was flying in the air. I say if you have bad anxiety/fear just scream it all out and close your eyes and you should be just fine.

I just rode this today, it was my very first flying coaster. It's a very smooth ride, it doesn't have that B&M rattle like one of their other coasters "scream". Very nice ride, definitely makes the top 3 coasters of the park.
This ride took my glass off . I couldn't drive home. I enjoyed every moment.
Best coaster I've ever been on.
You're laying face down, so you're going head first towards everything. And though the video doesn't capture it, you see the top-down loop coming before you get there. Hitting it going head first is the craziest sensation I've ever had on a ride.
LOVE tatsu. The g force on the loop is so intense. Rode it twice with the flashpass. Theres puke all over the metal plates where you wait at the end 🙊

No matter how many times you ride this, @1:30 never fails to make you spontaneously start screaming. It is perhaps one of the most awesome sensations you will ever feel while riding a roller coaster.
CALIFORNIA has the best rides ever PERIOD!!!!!!!!!! iv'e been to different theme parks in different states. and six flags magic mountain is easily the best one.

This is my favorite coaster at Six Flags!!!! Extremely fun and I swear my sister and I think we experienced zero g's on this coaster! Facing tbe ground only makes this ride much more amazing!

I rode it for the first time and it was the best ride ever. I’ve now rode every ride at six flags, tatsu was the only one that was holding me back. It was so fun but I screamed so much I love my voice 😂😭😭 that loop is really something else

I remembered when I rode the Tatsu .. when The coaster was going up all I was thinking about was if my chair lock would go off and how much It would hurt If I fall lol
Waited 90 minutes for this ride. Was the last ride before the park closed. What a great way to end the night.
For me, they said 90 minutes. It was around 30 - 40 minutes.

Dude I was totally thinking that in my head when I first went on it. I was praying to God that I wouldn't die. I had to push that thought out of the way or else I would've been screaming my head off. once the seat belts were fastened and the thing that goes over your shoulders were pressed down I knew it was too late to go back now. I had never prayed that hard and for so long.

This is my favorite rollercoaster in magic mountain, and the loop is the best part:))
I love this ride. Tatsu is one of those rare coasters that surprised me. The sheer size and intensity is like no other flyer. It’s also the only flyer to actually feel like flying to me. The way you climb over the treetops and swoop through the terrain. The rolls feel like you’re going to be flung off the mountain. The Gs in the pretzel are no joke. Tatsu easily ranks as elite by me.
Given that I’ve ridden Superman, I am guessing that this loop also feels like you are being pushed towards the center of the earth

a lot of people pass by this ride but it's one of best in the park. that inverted inside loop is awesome
Sheer fluidity and elegance. It scares you with its height and restraints, and soothes you with its layout... till _that_ pretzel.
Right from the spiraling first drop, every turn is continued, grandly, into an inline twist which starts another fluid, unbroken turn, eventually into another inline twist, with the track rising and dropping all the time like a well paced breath routine.
It does get noticeably more urgent towards the end of the first half, and the pretzel is insane after such a comparatively gentle start. The following inline twist does however feel out of place, as there’s no lead into it unlike the two earlier ones.
The pretzel loop wasn’t even all that bad. Everyone made it seem like it was so scary.
It was actually super fun.
But it made all my Snot and saliva come out 🤣

How intense the pretzel loop depends on where on the train you sit. If you sit in the front, its less intense then the back.

The G-force was so strong that it felt like my brain was rattling in my skull and all my organs were coming up to my throat and dude you can feel it in your brain...it is *INTENSE* I still felt the feeling of the g-force even like two hours after I got off the ride.
to this day, after going on almost every roller coaster in california and a few around the world, this is still in my top five most intense roller coasters. the inversions on this ride are INSANE, especially the pretzel loop. you catch like 4 g’s during that shit and its amazing. but for real, those inversions feel so fucking weird and every time ive ridden this they still scare the shit out of me like no other coaster’s inversions can. i love tatsu so much.
The mighty Tatsuuuuuuuuuuuuuup, that was a thing I remember across the park. They did this on the viper as well. The ride operators were always really funny!

Rode this last weekend. It is awesome. Some unique turns that disorient the rider. At one point it was hard to hold my eyes open due to the Gs and I ride a lot. It is a savage coaster. Love it
This ride is by far my FAVORITE ride here. It is actually very very smooth along with that amazing pretzel loop and the first dive which starts to ride, along with this amazing speed and logo " fly at the speed of fear." The name suits the ride PERFECTLY. this ride really makes it feel as if your flying! Not to mention that they strap you in very well as this ride makes me feel very safe. I love how your facing horizontal ( on your stomach ) this whole ride to make it feel as if your actually a dragon! The corkscrews and twists make this ride ten times better! defiantly the worlds best flying coaster. Total thrill and excitement until the end.

Scariest roller coaster that I've ever been on. Similar to Superman at Six Flags New Jersey and Kings Isle in Cincinnati. But longer and more intense.

Tatsu is a masterpiece of engineering and beauty. The pacing and flow of its track layout, combined with the way it takes advantage of the park's terrain and foliage create an a flying experience which I don't think any other flying coaster matches. If you visit magic mountain and get the chance to ride this, know that you are riding the best flying coaster on earth.

I love rollercoasters and I’ve been on on countless. Superman: Ultimate Flight ad Great Adventure’s pretzel loop is one of the most intense coaster elements I’ve been on. I can’t imagine tatsu’s 124 foot one!

Easily my favorite roller coaster of all time. It was a long time ago but I remember it being a really smooth ride. The hanging position is really awesome to ride in and that loop is something else.
Everyone who loves rollercoaster should really give Magic Mountain a visit. The rides out in the corner of the park with 6 people standing in line are twice as good as the best roller coaster at your local theme park.

The whole time I was on this ride felt like the shoulder restraints were going to fail at any moment... I think it was due to the constant downward pressure. Definitely scarier than any sitdown or standing rollercoaster at this park.
I felt the exact same thing when I rode it the first time, today :(. But everything else after being pulled up was fun and I quickly forgot about it :)

I remember the first time I rode this ride. It was 7 years ago, I rode it with my cousin we sat in the back of coaster, it was fun. I remember we got to the park early cause at that time that's when the rides that have to most packed lines are less packed
