Coasterforce, Is it best if you sit front row? I'm scared I'm going to sit middle or back and not have a good time because I won't see anything but other people's feet.
Well, Tatsu has that massive pretzel loop and GateKeeper has a massive immelmann loop. Although the two coasters are very different, I have to go with GateKeeper because it is a very unique ride
I've only been on Manta. I like Manta's themeing better and it has a very nice near miss maneuver near the rock waterfall towards the end. But Tatsu does look like it has more thrill.
@ericeric1010 It depends when you pull your restraint down. If you pull the restraint down when there already locked the bottom ones will close and lock. If you pull your restraint down when there not locked yet the bottom restraints will close then open back up.
@ericeric1010 they are connected, such that when you pull down the restraint above you, the leg restraints simultaneously lock too. you can't do one without the other
You shouldn't be worried, you ride in car every day and there's thousands of accidents. Think about how many roller coaster accidents you hear about. Maybe 1 or 2 in a year? Coasters have to be approved by the state so they're very safe :-)
I went on this today but it was raining so hard they had to close the park and everyone got tickets for any day this year. This all happened today too.
The big looping preztel drop is the most intense force . It's really is scary shit when u shot towards the end of this train, the force is so hard n fast, but it awesome , haha
Tatsu is on a very large hill which gives the illusion that it is huge,but if both Manta and Tatsu were on a flat piece of land,both would probably be the same height

@Jcontardo The best time of the year to go there is definitely any day in december/january. I went there the week of Christmas and every ride was walk on. Even X2 and tatsu.
Anyone have safety info on this? These flyers are the only rides that I feel like I am going to die on cuz there is nothing between you and the ground except a front/leg restraint. If the top restraint breaks you would break both your legs at the shin before falling to your death lol. I know it's safe, but seriously, anyone have a link to the safety info on these flyers?
That isn't something somebody can reply to because Nobody has ridden Gatekeeper yet. And your comparing two completely different types of rides so that kind of makes it invalid.
Oh, okay. My first roller coaster entry on it is to ride at least one of the five remaining suspended coasters. (Which I might get to do in August since Dad and I are planning a Cedar Point trip!)
Its Clarity I meant the ones that actually swing, like Big Bad Wolf did. I'm not talking about ones like Flying Ace Aerial Chase, that are merely underneath the track.

I want the golden ticket awards to rate it the best flying coaster in the world and one of the best coasters in the world.It will not have a b&m roar.The drop will be curved.I want people other than the people who host the golden ticket awards to rate it the best flying coaster in the world and one of the best coasters in the world,better than bizzaro at sfne or millenium force But for now tatsu will be the best flying coaster in the world.For now... I used to be an RO and I'd mix it up every train/cycle so I wouldn't be saying the same thing.... also you notice that a lot of ROs have a certain tone of voice which can be SOOO annoying.... Some ROs try to avoid that

That pretzel loop i didn't see until after i rode it and i had no idea what the seats did until it was to late
so easy That pretzel loop was one of the most thrilling experiences I've had. X2 is up there as well
See X2 was too long of a wait it was 3 1/2 hours and we were 30 minutes form the sign.

Tatsu and Manta are probably the two most majestic and fun to watch coaster in the world.
Tatsu's famous inversion next to Revolution's famous inversion=GENIUS.

Tatsu is awesome. We have air but which is very small and doesn't have the zero g roll which makes this the best

The ride is very smooth, doesn't hurt your head at all. You don't really have to look 'up'
