This was my absolute favorite ride as a kid, I was scared of loops for years as a child but my dad would always indulged me with riding Goldrush together. Eventually I worked up to Ninja and then loop coasters. But this was always a favorite.
Docktor Jim I remember going to the Magic Mountain for my 8th bday. They let me ride it twice, put us in front row, and sang Happy Birthday on the ride intercom. It was fun.
I don't think the front car gives the best ride. When the train really gets going, the front car is already in whatever element the train is going through. Like the hills and helix turns. The back provides the best ride.
i miss my old friends. when we went on this ride like 30 times in a row that one day our band did a performance there, and we were all yelling and i almost fell off,, i remember this ride like the back of my hand. its sad how things change
There used to be a pad on the section of the track frame visible on the upper left at 0:35 that was covered with chewed gum. Eventually the pad was removed since they got tired of cleaning it over and over. The exposed frame has gum on it anyway. LOL
This is a lot of fun, it was walk on when I went on so I went on a LOT. note: try riding in the back, sometimes there is a shorter line and it makes the ride quite fun! :)
Error in your description. When Magic Mountain first opened it wasn't owned by Six Flags. I believe it was owned by a land development company. They built Magic Mountain to try and draw more people from LA to buy property in the Sana Clarita area.
It was owned by The Newhall Land & Farm Company in a partnership with SeaWorld. I was a Ride operator on the Rusher in the '70s. That was when we ran 4 trains on busy weekends with a train dispatching every 20 seconds or so. They'd never do that today; You had to be good, with the whole crew working together or the blocks wouldn't clear for the following train and it stop all the trains on the brakes and lifts.
i loved this ride so much that there were a couple years that got on again and again and again and sometimes, i went on it over and over again without getting off!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL XD
It's an oldie but a Goldie that's for sure don't act like it's scary I rode that when the Park first opened I'm 55 years old now it's not that fast still it was the first coaster there..
0:36 those things stuck on the left side of the screen are gum. It's 2016 and those things are still stuck there. Either that, or they cleaned it but people still leave their gum there. lol fun thing to point out. 😂😂
@riseofcoasters it's fine people complain because of the younger crowd that hangs out there almost every weekend. The people who don't mind the teenagers are the ones who enjoy their day the most.
Anyone else feel like it would be real easy to slip out of this? My friends and I rode with loose lap bars, and the one behind us got his back slammed against the seat after an airtime hill.
fullermrff The flume on Jet Stream is old, ugly and leaky, and too much of it is up on supports. I think they should put a redesigned log ride around Full Throttle.
You know what I dislike? The bland and boring theme parks without trees. I tend to dislike theme parks that have just coasters and nothing else. Which is why I like Disneyland.
This one's much more fun to ride in the dark than it is daytime.
Itz faster in the night
Rode it in the dark nice view
Its awsome at night!!!!
Six Flags Magic Mountains very first coaster...and it still packs a punch!
Who else is just watching these videos before they go on it to see if it's a fun ride?
Me!!
I do
FireExplorer6 ME
It actually is a fun ride.....THEE VERY FIRST rollercoaster there. It beats out some of the "scarier rides" there IMO.

Really enjoyed this one mostly because it felt like you left the park and were in the wilderness with all the foliage.
First roller coaster I ever went on. Glad it's still around.
This was my first coaster. I just couldn't believe it when I walked up to the sign, and was finally tall enough.
***** My friend and I got waved through on Jet Stream over and over.
Docktor Jim I remember going to the Magic Mountain for my 8th bday. They let me ride it twice, put us in front row, and sang Happy Birthday on the ride intercom. It was fun.
This Six Flags park looks awesome
The kept on repeating her story lol all I heard was "oh shit" like 3-4 times lol
I just went on this ride it WAS FUN but for some reason watching this video the trains looks like it's going slow
Diego Abrego ik

This ride is so fun in the back you get so much airtime in the end
And in the front at the end it throws you forward
I worked on that ride for 2 years as ride foreman back in 86-88!! Rusher will always be near and dear to me heart!!
Love this ride! One of my favorites at the park
William Evans Same!
i miss my old friends. when we went on this ride like 30 times in a row that one day our band did a performance there, and we were all yelling and i almost fell off,, i remember this ride like the back of my hand. its sad how things change
I love gold rusher so much,it's always a good excitement builder!
There used to be a pad on the section of the track frame visible on the upper left at 0:35 that was covered with chewed gum. Eventually the pad was removed since they got tired of cleaning it over and over. The exposed frame has gum on it anyway. LOL
Gold rusher is fun to ride in the dark
Ahh, my first roller coaster
This is a lot of fun, it was walk on when I went on so I went on a LOT. note: try riding in the back, sometimes there is a shorter line and it makes the ride quite fun! :)
DIYfabulous Yes!! The back of this ride makes it far more thrilling.
GREAT FRONT SEAT ON -RIDE - ON GOLD RUSHER - AT SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN !!!
I went with my friend today and rode this like 5 times. It was so much fun!
Did you guys enjoy the ride?
.......
Awesome!
My friends and I sing "Try Hard" by 5sos on this ride :)
I went on this irl and i noticed the gum wads on the support right before you get off the first chain lift
Love this ride rode it about 7 times in one day

This ride is so much fun
Are you just one guy? I mean, ur channel is a website, but 1,372 VIDEOS? That's a lot of roller coasters!
ONE THOUSAND!
Ive always enjoyed this ride
What would you say would be the best Arrow Mine Train?
I would have to give that to Thunderation at Silver Dollar City or Road Runner Express at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
My cousin stood up on this ride and we made a sharp turn and she almost fell out.
This is random but I may know you lmao
Alana Mayfield oi that sounds scary D;
Some guy did also
That happened to my friend luis
On a scale to other parks how clean is
it wasn't closed when I went there 3 days ago.
This one fun as heck!
Definitely a small ride, which is weird because this is one of my favorites.....alongside Goliath.
Is this the best Arrow Dynamics mine train at a Six Flags park?
Diana Standefer It's o k, but I would say Runaway Mine Train @ Six Flags Over Texas is better.
0:14 Parale Parale!
i loved this ride so much that there were a couple years that got on again and again and again and sometimes, i went on it over and over again without getting off!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL XD
I mean can’t they spruce this ride up a bit? Put a fake mine or some scenery? It looks like a demolition site.
I always rode this whenever I was here!
Gold rusher is the oldest junior coaster.
Just read the description, to save Gold Rusher ;-)
It is just closed due to construction works nearby and will reopen later this year.
What camera you using go pro?
Hey Coasterforce, is this similar to Carolina Goldrusher at Carowinds or Trailblazer at Hershey?
My second roller coaster at six flags magic mountain
On 2:24 my sister and me when on this ride becouse she was screaming and and in the last part at 2:24 she told me it's was okay alex that my name
Y r u here Alexis?
hey cf whats your favorite mine train roller coaster
Yes
This reminds me of Cedar Creek Mine Ride at Cedar Point
I cant wait going in 12 days yay
This ride hurt my hip when u go on it alot
I'm going on Thursday is this ride open?
It's an oldie but a Goldie that's for sure don't act like it's scary I rode that when the Park first opened I'm 55 years old now it's not that fast still it was the first coaster there..
isnt this at carowinds to?
A pure joy to ride
I got hit in the face by a branch when I rode this. That was about the only feeling I experienced during the ride.
how
0:36 those things stuck on the left side of the screen are gum. It's 2016 and those things are still stuck there. Either that, or they cleaned it but people still leave their gum there. lol fun thing to point out. 😂😂
Daniel Cervino Another thing always at this ride is hats. Every time I go on this ride, there are hats on the dirt.
I put gum on the wall many times
do you use Camtasia to edit? It seems like it.
I saved my friends life on this coaster just today
Man you are GP af
@riseofcoasters it's fine people complain because of the younger crowd that hangs out there almost every weekend. The people who don't mind the teenagers are the ones who enjoy their day the most.
it sucks that it closed right it was my favorite ride when i was a kid:/
looks....relaxing
it goes faster than it looks it's pretty fun
ikr?! 😂😂 It goes going slow then really fast
LOL I came here after playing the rct2 scenario :D
.....and this is how it all started
They are both great man lol either way youll have a great time
This was a nice little ride. It is a shame that it had to go.
Peter Nancarrow
What do yo mean?? It's still at magic mountain
Peter Nancarrow
Yeah its still there
Oh shit! This ride is bummer
This video makes it t look like a nice, slow ride. But in reality, Good Rusher is just as rough as Viper, minus all the inversions.
I saw two hats and a shirt on the dirt ah people these days
for trill bush gardens
I ride this all the time when I go to Magic Mountain but to be honest I ride every ride all day lol
Anyone else feel like it would be real easy to slip out of this? My friends and I rode with loose lap bars, and the one behind us got his back slammed against the seat after an airtime hill.
you mean rct2.
i know.
I HATED that ride but I don't remember why maybe it was rough I don't remember that far back
bEsT rIdE At SiX fLAgS
Damn didn’t know there were wolves around the ride.
sad they had to get rid of one of the longest flume rides in the country though...they still have all that space even after full throttle opened up
fullermrff It's shocking to see the log ride gone. I loved that ride. They needed it more than they needed another, very gimmicky coaster.
yes. every amusement park should have a nice, long flume ride and I don't think the Jet Stream qualifies......just sayin'
fullermrff The flume on Jet Stream is old, ugly and leaky, and too much of it is up on supports. I think they should put a redesigned log ride around Full Throttle.
***** They didn't bother with scenery or animatronics. They just made it a fun ride with good drops, making use of the terrain.
I think building another flume ride around full throttle is a great idea!!! MM should do it!!
I. love. this. ride. I. want. to. go. to. six. flags. again.
Veronica Zamora I'm going in two days. Not to brag.
I. Want. To. Go. Again.
Veronica Zamora I know how you feel. I'm so mad I can't go right this very second. Because I also Want. to. go. right. now.
Lol. Ha. Ha.
Veronica Zamora I live for Magic Mountain. Lol

You know what I dislike? The bland and boring theme parks without trees. I tend to dislike theme parks that have just coasters and nothing else. Which is why I like Disneyland.
A coat of paint can be used, haha!
No
The back is fun
