- Ninja is the fastest Arrow Dynamics suspended coaster in the world with a top speed of 55 mph (89 km/h). It held the record for three years until Vortex at Canada's Wonderland opened in 1991 & both have shared the record for over two decades.

As a person who is deathly afraid of roller coasters, I wouldn't mind going on this particular ride (just as a beginner of getting over my fear of roller coasters), it's not too high (I hate heights) and not *too* fast either. Perfect, really. Too bad I don't live in America haha...

This ride ain't scary, it's not even that fast, it's just pure fun. Very smooth, but very crazy. I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did, but I would definitely go on it again.

IT I AIN'T EVEN CLOSE TO BEING SMOOTH- I remember going on that ride and then after the ride my chest was hurting SO much from the seatbelt, also the turns were so tight that it made my chest hurt even more.

I love this ride, if only because it's so relaxing. :) It's not intense, but still fun. It's a must when I go, usually as a break between the big ones. I hope they never get rid of it.

I know. It's inevitable, unless they revamp it, like they did with Revolution. Ninja is the only coaster in the park that's relaxing, in my opinion.

i reccomend riding this one a few times in order for you to get pumped on going on the larger roller coasters, it helped me! and i’m greatly afraid of roller coasters

ever since I saw the track layout in full playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, I was always fascinated
that this ride has the Lift hill practically at the end of the ride, so different than most coasters.
The lift hill is to get the train back to the station, which is on Samurai Summit
Ninja is such a classic. Especially during a night ride

The cars are from XLR-8 from Astroworld. RIP. Miss it SOOO bad. XLR-8 was my fave coaster there. This ride is VERY much like it just faster.

Us kids that grew up in the 90s thought it was awesome. This coaster helped pave the way for many of the others that would would break the rules at the park. It was revolutionary in its day and its still awesome.
I loved riding this when we went there on a field trip. I am a pussy when it comes down to roller coasters. My friends rode it first and then I got on. We went on it several times, and then we ended up riding the Goliath...
If you can ride Goliath then any other ride there isn't any scarier

Just rode this last week for the first time in 20 years. I was so blown away! I had gotten so used to iron dragon at Cedar Point that I forgot that Ninja was so many light years better. LOVED this ride so much!! I’m shocked six flags didn’t buy more of these. It’s just a laugh factory! So very fun!

80s. But the better advertisement for Ninja is in an Everything is Terrible worthy video from 1990 called Kidsongs: Ride the Roller Coaster. During the first song, this kid named Josh sees Ninja from the monorail and shouts "LOOK, THERE'S NINJA! GOSH, IT LOOKS FAST!" Then a girl named Hillary Hollingsworth says "It's SCARY."

first roller coaster i went on as a kid. it's a fun one. however, i don't remember it being so short.
They always seem shorter on You Tube than when you are actually riding them.
This ride is great if you want to make a little step forward on the path to tougher roller coasters. I recommend it if you will visit Six Flags Magic Mountian. Also Jetstream is right next to it and I recommend that if you want to cool down a bit.
This has been the hidden gem of Magic Mountain for 35 years.

when i was there just after viper opened. found out if you went striate for this coaster. when the park opened you could ride it several times in a row. because of its hidden location.
I love roller coasters and ones with big drops too but I’m still extremely scared of them and me and my group of 6 girls were going on scream and I’m the only one that chickened out 😭😂

Either way these coasters are fading away great concept they were though arrow had some good coasters I heard that BGW couldn’t find New trains as arrow went bankrupt

When I was a kid and this ride first came out, the commercials for it made it look like it ran through some special hidden forest that was outside of the theme park haha. It made me think of the speeder bike chase scene on Endor from Star Wars Return of the Jedi.
Looks very relaxing, smallest lift hill I’ve ever seen on a coaster aside from a kiddie coaster, but excellent use of the terrain. Would make an a great first coaster

This POV is only the second time I have ridden Ninja. The first time was for real in 1992.
My friends and I waited in line for over an hour for this one and right when it was our turn it broke and they closed it for the day :(

Fun Ride. Ends too fast tho needs to be like 3 times longer with bit faster swinging turns.

for some reason this felt more intense than Twisted Colossus. That part where it forces you so much into your seat was not enjoyable
This coaster is gray and red (just like Iron Dragon at Cedar Point used to be before its supports was repainted to orange)!

Ok, now I want to go to SFMM. This will be the first one I go for. Not many of those old Arrow coasters left, and even less of their suspended coasters.
I remember riding this ride when it first came out! I had so much fun I hope they never replace this ride with something more thrilling and intense‼️💯

They have a ninja at six flags saint louis and the operator was saying hiya like a ninja
This coaster doesn't go that high because it's the type of coaster that conforms to the terrain. If you're spending a day at Magic Mountain, this is the ride you should go on to get you used to the idea of hanging below the track instead of resting above it.

It seems like a lot of people talk shit about Ninja because it's the tamest ride there. I never skip Ninja, I'll always like it and go on it. It gets a lot of disrespect, I don't like that.

Hayabusa held the suspended speed record for a number of years, didn’t it? There seems to be no POV at all of that ride. That’s too bad. Ninja looks great though, as does Vortex at Wonderland.

about 4 years ago, maybe 2010, i went on ninja and at about 1:30 seconds in the video, thats when the ride got stuck and i was up there for about 7 minutes
It's a good ride, but the wait time was awful even though it was a monday just because it only runs one train.

I've always hated how this Ride ends. This is why I always preferred Iron Dragon a Cedar Point or Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens
When me and my dad and my cousin went on this I cried but on the drop wasn’t so bad I got more calm until I got used to it so next time I go I might go on this more than once XD

I remember my friend told me she went told me that she went in this ride with another one of my friends. so basically the people who are taking over the speaker say "Hiyah!!" because the ride is called ninja. so when my friend was on the ride my other friend was screaming "Hiyah!!" the whole entire time.
i loved this ride!! super fun but it whips u around a lot and came off with a very sore neck lol
