I used to go to theme parks alone all the time. I know how you feel. Single rider lines, go where you want, no arguments on what to eat, its not bad. It's better than waiting months to go and possibly not going at all because you are waiting for somebody to go with.
Yeah, I went alone to King's Island once. 30 yrs. ago, I went up to Six Flags Great America by myself. Coincidentally, the very first roller coaster I was in line for, I heard my name and saw someone that I used to work with! I ended up spending the rest of the day with her family so I didn't have to be alone. Crazy!
For me it would depend on the type of park. If it was coaster heavy like Magic Mountain or Cedar Point, I would go by myself in a heartbeat. If it was theme heavy like Disney World, I don't think I'd have fun by myself. In general though, the only thing that sucks is not having someone to talk to in line.

AND, the worst part of all, the group you go with is fucking TWO HOURS LATE getting ready to leave for the park! The only way to get on anywhere near all the rides you want to get on, is to go by yourself. Period.

One of my exes took me to Magic Mountain because I love the rides but hate heights. I'd never been on a big coaster before. There's something really cool about your ability to just go somewhere like this totally alone and be cool with it all day...a lot of people couldn't do that even though they might want to because they have nobody else to go with or whatever. You don't see a lot of this on RUclips and it shows people that you absolutely can have fun on your own. I'd be spending the whole day thinking ..... "well this is depressing" and just overthinking it. You make it look totally normal, as it should be.

When I visited Magic Mtn, I went on Viper as my first ride. I didn't realize what the first drop was going to feel like so for the entire ride, I looked white as a ghost. I'm so glad that you validated my feelings about it (even though it's been MANNNNY years since I was traumatized by that ride). Never again, for sure!!

X2, is fairly smooth, BUT the last element ( aka the raven turn ) thrashes your legs and it hurts, make sure you get the front row inner seat for the smoothest experience. And revolution is really fun but has a forceful vertical loop.
@@yes182.0 Ohhh, Goliath looked a little bumpy but I wasn’t sure if that was a result of how the person filming was holding the camera. And revolution, looked pretty insane when it comes bumpiness. That coaster seems a little old school, I’m guessing this coaster is pretty old. I definitely was not expecting that one loop. They both look really fun, and I would ride them to see the differences between on camera and in person.
My favorite parts of rollercoasters are first, corkscrews and then twists, but the best is when they are combined together. Riddler's Revenge gets my top vote followed by Twisted Colossus. Twisted gets such a high score for a wooden rollercoaster having such a steep drop and those following crazy twists that go back and forth. It scores more points for having a two rounds that twist with the double helix of tracks. Wooden coasters are such a rush because they create so much noise with rickety clacking that doesn't give you 100% confidence that the ride is safe and you're going to survive! LOL!
I 100% agree with you on finding the good days to go to parks. I go with my family to Busch Gardens Williamsburg every year at the end of summer break because it is in a different state and the breaks are different. It still has people, but with the fast passes, you can get on rides hella quick
went here a week ago fully expecting to pass out or throw up, none happened, the scariest part of these rides for me were the suspense waiting in line or for the drops, then after that everything was super fun, never forgetting that

Very good video! I have always loved amusement parks, especially large ones like 6 Flags Mountain. I love the coasters...except for Viper! With all the loops, I got a headache for the rest of my day...no more!...didn’t like it. X2 is my favorite...worth the trip from Houston, TX. I've found that most people in my age group (I'm older) aren't into coaster parks. Well, so what!...you have one life to live, so enjoy it!! Do what YOU like to do, not what others think that you should do, "at your age." Right?...I think so. I earned 4 college degrees and I teach math at a university in Houston. Still, I don't fake it!...be true to yourself and enjoy all the roller coasters in your life that you can. Yes!!

I 100% agree with you on finding the good days to go to parks. I go with my family to Busch Gardens Williamsburg every year at the end of summer break because it is in a different state and the breaks are different. It still has people, but with the fast passes, you can get on rides hella quick

Very good video! I have always loved amusement parks, especially large ones like 6 Flags Mountain. I love the coasters...except for Viper! With all the loops, I got a headache for the rest of my day...no more!...didn’t like it. X2 is my favorite...worth the trip from Houston, TX.
I've found that most people in my age group (I'm older) aren't into coaster parks. Well, so what!...you have one life to live, so enjoy it!! Do what YOU like to do, not what others think that you should do, "at your age." Right?...I think so.
I earned 4 college degrees and I teach math at a university in Houston. Still, I don't fake it!...be true to yourself and enjoy all the roller coasters in your life that you can. Yes!!
