Fact: The Vikings scored 31 points in all three of their meetings with the Packers that year. The difference of course was that the two regular season meetings ended with identical 34-31 scores in favor of the Packers (which was why this game was at Lambeau and not the Metrodome), while in the Wild Card game, the Vikings' defense was able to hold the Packers to only 17. This was also only the second ever playoff loss the Packers suffered at Lambeau. The first came two seasons earlier against the Michael Vick-led Falcons, who also jumped out to a three-score lead early (21-0) and eventually won 27-7. In between these two losses, the Packers won the famous "we want the ball and we're going to score" game against their old coach Mike Holmgren.
