Thank you for reviewing these more basic more affordable lights. It took me a few autoflower runs to get an sp250 and a p2500. I have a 4ft by 8ft area. Slowly but surely I’ll light it all up. Thanks Shane your one of a kind.
This design is so much better than the one they revised it with. They made it alot cheaper, I recently bought one, i was expecting that cool hanging mechanism instead they just changed it to a cheap clip that doesnt hang very well, it also doesnt look like a Meanwell driver anymore too.
Yo its because guys like you we will have the best grow lights out there and hopefully these companies are listening. And not just trying to get free advertising if they are listening. The led light companies will close the gap between them and even the cheapest lights will be worth there weight Thanks Again
love your approach and your honesty when it comes to your competitors products is a real eye opener as honesty is hard to find in a business enviroment, i wish you more success and fortune, God Bless You and Happy 420!!!
Hi all, please note the efficiency result I posted is correct but the PAR map is not (I posted the Atreum Hydra chart by mistake). I have posted the correct Bestva PAR chart on the RUclips channel community tab.
Hello Shane don't know if the Picture of the PAR map is wrong or if you did a calculation mistake but according to the PAR map on screen the average is 668 calculating to 2.27ppfd/w. Happy 420
As always top marks Shane. Thank you for your continued work here on RUclips. Out of curiosity what seedlings light would you suggest currently in a 2x2 ?
Always enjoy your PAR tests & reviews. Thanks! Picked up the Migro Aray 2. I noticed a WiFi controlled light called Groplanner by Hyperlite. If you get one would love to see your take on it.
Couldn't find The Apogee Meter? And the "program" that gives a spectral range graph, and which % of each light, etc, on your phone? Still, great video Shane! Could the lower than expected efficiency be from the spectrum? Much blue, with some Strange red, high and low points on that end of the spectrum they presented in their catalog?👍💜🙏
Unfortunately these lights don’t use all LM301B (5000K only) diodes and do not use Meanwelll drivers. However, I have 2 of them and they are impressing me so far. Thermal taped the two ends of the lights so they join evenly and look like one 4x2 light.
What would the power rating be if the efficiency were 100%? Micromoles per watt sounds like very little energy is actually being turned into photons and I wonder what the real potential for improvement is.
hi MIGRO, have you ever tried to verify or comnpare this results with others? Its remarkable how bad the efficiency is in your test. Maybe something went wrong in the test? I just cant turn my head around how inefficient it is with this top notch diodes. Its just not possible its worse than the Viper Spectra P1000. Its less than 100 dollars which is very unusual for this hardware, but its still 301B and it should have more than 2.00 in any case.
and another great video, thx for the honest reviews Shane!! would you be looking at any of the AGLEX fixtures in the near future there bud? some of the new models look pretty nice and im interested to see if the numbers they are publishing are close to real world performance......
I have the older model of this exact light. Anyone know how many watts they give off in each of the modes? I used to use red and blue in flowering with CFL. But I feel like having both switches on in flower would be too much?? Anyone...?
Thanks again bro we always appreciate the info happy 420 to everybody and I was wondering if you heard anything about the optic slim 650 s LED grow light sure could use some feedback thank you have a great day
Noticing a MASSIVE improvement in production quality of your videos as of late Shane, keep it up! BestVA seems to have knocked it out of the park aesthetically, taking ViparSpectra's lead, and producing an even more highly polished finished product. I am curious however wether the enclosed driver will be affected by heat compared to the exposed drivers of the competition. Longevity is key in my opinion, and although the components are quality, the sexy design may be a flaw instead of a selling point. Very cool looking rig though!
Can you test the updayday 4000 I have one and they are a nice light so far but I don’t have all the fancy meters like you :) happy belated 420 can’t wait to use my migro uvb this grow Too ;)
any chance you would do a review on a grow light its a koscheal 600w led not the blurple one the normal one its on amazon its a great light be cool to know what it puts out.
I am getting ready to do another run, i havnt in a few year. I am wanting to get 2.4m x 2m x 2m tent i used to use mh n hps but wanting to go leds but just starting to research. i wanted to see if i can fit 27 in total 3 lights, 9 under each in say 7.5l final pot size, does anyone have any recommendations on some good leds to get that can be set for veg n flower period and also what watt would be best, not looking to pay over £300 per light if pos? any advice would be great.
What happend to the other kind of music i had on the channel? That kinda space electronic bizarre sounds. I loved it! Please make it better for my own personal entertainment. 😄👍
Love the review but...Damn people spend so much on leds, i won't pay more then .70 a watt. bloom plus/maxsisun and other china lights work just fine and you might get 2 lights for the price people pay for 1 of these lights. people with deep pockets always shock the hell out of me with how they buy things but something tells me these types of people get the newest phones every 6 months :o
It's not true, i am EXTREMELY stingy and i'm not rich, but i would still pay a bit more for a good light. And i don't even buy phones, i'll get a second-hand phone for almost free and use it for many years until it's broken. I want a good light because i want to have good results, i don't wanna spend 2-3 months growing and investing only to have a disappointing result. I spend so much money on buying weed from the streets, and it's not always good. So why not spend that same amount of money on a good equipment? In my opinion you should save money on other equipment and get everything cheap except the light itself. The light is the last thing you want to get cheap. It already sucks that the only lights that most of us could afford are Chinese lights, so why would you buy the bottom of the bottom? At least get the best you can. Even the popular Chinese brands are not reliable, they always pump the numbers higher than they are, they always make some manufacturing mistakes, they're not always great at customer support etc. I can only imagine the bottom brands are even worse. I don't want to risk it and waste time. I don't want my light malfunctioning in just few months of use. I want something proven and reviewed so i can compare with others, get help and advice.. If you can afford testing and experimenting unknown lights, good for you. And in my experience, if you buy the cheapest thing possible, eventually it will disappoint you and you will be forced to buy the more expensive thing. So now you will have to spend even more money for nothing, could've just go for the better one in the first place. And lastly, not everyone has access to good cheap lights. For example here in Europe it's damn hard to find a good cheap light like in USA. The shipping costs from Amazon cost more than the light itself! We are forced to order from Aliexpress or some other websites and they are expensive. In my country the VAT rate is 25%, and if i would order from USA i would also have to pay customs and wait for a long time. In my country the minimum LED light you can get is a 200w for 350-400€ and it's just average. So it's more economical to buy these other lights for the same price and better specifics.

Hey Shane, could you check out the 2000(200watt) version of this same light.
Happy 420 to you and your supporters. Ty for doing what you do. We appreciate it.
I've watched this channel grow so much . Wonderful work Shane
Best warranty service I’ve ever had. Fans burned out and I had a new light in 8 days. Thanks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Huh? For real? Is this the same Bestva (with no quality control or customer service) that I bought from a couple years ago.
Great review! They have def upgraded their design and build quality to be on par with some other budget grow lights!
Thank you for reviewing these more basic more affordable lights. It took me a few autoflower runs to get an sp250 and a p2500. I have a 4ft by 8ft area. Slowly but surely I’ll light it all up. Thanks Shane your one of a kind.
Great editing!
He needs to edit the part with the ppfd and efficiency numbers. His math is way off.
I always like the info in your videos and your edits are better and better. Happy 420!😎👽✌🌴
Great production mate
This design is so much better than the one they revised it with. They made it alot cheaper, I recently bought one, i was expecting that cool hanging mechanism instead they just changed it to a cheap clip that doesnt hang very well, it also doesnt look like a Meanwell driver anymore too.
Nice progres in video edit, but most important it is short, full of info and without trashtalk
1:22 Cool-looking heat sink. That's a great pun, if perhaps unintended.

Thank you for actually doing a par test.
Great review, thank you migro! Plan on using this in my veg tent
I love the Blue Backlighting!!!!
love your approach and your honesty when it comes to your competitors products is a real eye opener as honesty is hard to find in a business enviroment, i wish you more success and fortune, God Bless You and Happy 420!!!
This review was brilliant, everything, detailed yet on point, studio setup, video production and you mate 👌 ima sub this
Hi all, please note the efficiency result I posted is correct but the PAR map is not (I posted the Atreum Hydra chart by mistake). I have posted the correct Bestva PAR chart on the RUclips channel community tab.
Good morning Shane, thank you for sharing
Happy 420 my brother from Cincinnati
Hello Shane don't know if the Picture of the PAR map is wrong or if you did a calculation mistake but according to the PAR map on screen the average is 668 calculating to 2.27ppfd/w. Happy 420
You are absolutely correct. It obviously wasn't 545.
Even average stuf like this using white leds + a bitty red, decent quality components seem to give what were once outstanding results.
Thanks for making videos. I like learning about whats out there
As always top marks Shane. Thank you for your continued work here on RUclips. Out of curiosity what seedlings light would you suggest currently in a 2x2 ?
Happy 420:everyone 👍
Good morning Shane 😎✌
What's the amount of heat this gives off?
Is this a better product then the dc series
How does this compare to Viparspectra P600 and P1000?
What do you do with the lights after you do the testing? Do you keep them, or send them back?
Always enjoy your PAR tests & reviews. Thanks! Picked up the Migro Aray 2. I noticed a WiFi controlled light called Groplanner by Hyperlite. If you get one would love to see your take on it.
Couldn't find The Apogee Meter?

You should review the BESTVA bp1000 in comparison
What do you thank about the Phlizon Dimmable 640W Samsung folding leds?
Is it worth the $400 or are they totally worthless?
Thank you for all your hard work..i just got the vivosun led 240watt. Went will you test them with the 301 h diodes
Unfortunately these lights don’t use all LM301B (5000K only) diodes and do not use Meanwelll drivers. However, I have 2 of them and they are impressing me so far. Thermal taped the two ends of the lights so they join evenly and look like one 4x2 light.

Is it enough for two bestva pro 1000 2.5'x2.5' tents?
hi MIGRO, have you ever tried to verify or comnpare this results with others? Its remarkable how bad the efficiency is in your test. Maybe something went wrong in the test? I just cant turn my head around how inefficient it is with this top notch diodes. Its just not possible its worse than the Viper Spectra P1000. Can you try the 200 watt version ?
I wish you review some of the cheaper chinese brands like the EnFun EF-2000.
I bought the 240w, LM301B for 140€, can´t beat that price.
7 months later, what is your opinion on the light? Did you get good results?
@@twentytwo138 no answer lol
Like Bernard said. Shane made a mistake with the ppfd and efficiency. He wasn't even close. Didn't even have to do the math to see it was so far off.
Just looking at the low and high would average it in the 600's. Half of one, and half of another.
its got the same lighting efficiency as many lights with the older lm 281B+...how can that be if they have the 301s?
and another great video, thx for the honest reviews Shane!!
would you be looking at any of the AGLEX fixtures in the near future there bud?
some of the new models look pretty nice and im interested to see if the numbers they are publishing are close to real world performance......
how much lumens / lm have this panel?
With 800 ppfd in the center it feels like 12 inches could get you closer to 1000 ppfd in the center. It would greatly improve your averages
Regardless thank you so much for everything you do!
I have the older model of this exact light. Anyone know how many watts they give off in each of the modes? I used to use red and blue in flowering with CFL. But I feel like having both switches on in flower would be too much?? Anyone...?

New style of review, nice)
What light testing equipment are you using?
Apogee SQ500 Quantum sensor to measure PAR
Great video thanks can you recommend a replacement for a 400mh just blue
Hello. Can you use the sanlight Q5. 2.1 test. I would be very interested
Nice light.. Had a look as i have the 75cm x 75cm x 2m budbox.. Trying to find a light for it
hi Shane, would you test Groplanner LED Grow Light Smart wifi control
1.8? That’s crap right? Why would you say you quite like it when it’s awful at doing its job?
Can you please review the new spider farmer se3000? Looks like a killer light 😁
Well done on the video update.
Ah the old not looking at the camera shot. Why?
Clearly he is getting paid for this one
Im not sure the diodes are real lm301b,. If you look close they are round which look like san'an.
I am getting ready to do another run, i havnt in a few year. Short and to the point
That stress in the eyes, what people will say about sponsored test XD
looks like a viparspectra!
Have one of these super bright and cool
Can you test the parfectworks par 1200 pro
Can you test hydro crunch 600 watt led
DO TEST FOR LeFreshinsoft Full Spectrum 1000W LED Grow Light F1000 Series PLEASE
Do you think this light, with it’s shrouding over the driver, have the ability to not expel as much heat as other brands with an exposed driver?
That's what I'm wondering too
What happend to the other kind of music i had on the channel? That kinda space electronic bizarre sounds. I loved it! Please make it better for my own personal entertainment. 😄👍
🥦🍁🥦🍁🥦🍁 happy 420 🥦🍁🥦🍁🥦🍁
Happy 420 from Scotland🍁🍁🍁
I think the analogue from Mars-Hydro will be better for the same money.
I don’t understand the importance of a dimmer when you could just move the light closer or farther away? Somebody educate me please
dimming the wattage for lower PAR intensity means less wasted electricity
@@MIGROLIGHT Excellent! Thank you!
And you can have a shorter tent. Also prolongs the life of diodes.
Guess they're not even gonna pretend it's not not for 420 with that logo

Happy 420 everybody. could someone advise me on the best
Migro led for a 1x1 meter tent please. Cheers
I've got it been sponsored by them
Non ESD foil on the LEDs, nice static ripping
they are coated in silicone so its pretty hard to have ESD do any damage to the LEDs......
Happy 420
They claim to be 2.9 umol on their website.,.. wtf?

Your light failed after 2 months and you wouldn’t honour the warranty, I would NEVER buy from these cowboys again
Way too much bass. Sounds terrible.
