I purchased 12 sets of the 680nm and 24 sets of the 730nm about 2 months ago. In total the room has 1200 watts of combined 680+730nm, she's red and bright! Starting week 5 of flower today! I've been doing both only on 15 mins after lights off but I'm gonna switch to 680s on 12 hours a day after watching this. Thanks!

Hello, In terms of UV, we stay on fluo lamp, it's more effective. The features of this new light are really cool, and we ve been waiting for this kind of upgrade for a long time. After I hope MARS HYDRO gives a nice dimming turorial with the light to teach when to turn ON the IR and Deep Red. And when we are talking about MARS HYDRO we are talking about China and TEMU's quality. For this light we will need to test it at least 3 years to see how it ends... Thanks again for your video. and keep it green.

I am using old school LED lights (Bloomspect 3000's) . If you are looking for a short, stalky plant in Veg. I use lots of blue 410 - 470 nm with Green 510 nm in veg. I don't add in the Red 630 - 730nm till the plant has grown 4 - 6 nodes(doesn't take long with the increased blue and green light). Then I try to slowing increase the intensity of the Red light being added. This is because in my experience the plant is SUPER sensitive to Red light compared to Blue Light. Difficult to provide too much blue light for Cannabis but very easy to provide too much red light.

Question 🙋‍♂️ my good 👍 sir? Can you do a content video on how much par and photosynthesis lowers as you go through the canopy and also do it in multiple stages. Seedling 🌱 maybe 🤔 naturally already answered because of space obviously 🙄. You could do an early stage like not super thick canopy and then do an extremely dense canopy I mean maxed out kinda canopy and do all layers. Then you could do normal pre flower 🌸or veggie grow however it needs to be done ✅ to fit within guidelines so you don’t get into trouble and then a last few days before harvest and do all layers of canopy again. 😊I would love ❤️ ❤❤❤❤❤ to see those results. Also obviously 🙄 you pick one ☝️ of your lights 1st 🥇

I agree with your far red recommendation Shane. However, using too much far red in longer flowering genotypes is tricky. It is my experience to keep far red at a minimum thru veg and completely off during transition (if possible) to tighten up the node spacing. After week 4 as much light as possible. Maintaining veg dli thru transition is also helpful indoors.

The Blue Lights are actually no real UV Lights, it's also called Deep Blue. It has nothing to do with yield but if you run this lights you get shorter plants. It's only purpose is to shape plants more to your will. The same goes for the IR, it's no real IR, it's Far Red, which will help with rooting and strechting.

I played a lot with the timings but from my opinion besides thats annoying to keep the cycles, it is a waste of money. Just get a good Grow Light like Kingbrite with already addes UVs and IRs. I used a cheap-o meter to get equal PAR. The GroWealth made a believer out of me. The stems were fatter and the seedlings did better after transplant. Not a night-and-day difference, but for sure enough to justify the added cost.

Any thoughts on UVA being basically a fancy blue light? They state things like ,10 mins etc. but 10 mins with UVA is basically nothing from a plants perspective. I think a lot of the timings etc stated with UV are applied to UVB. However UVB LEDs cost a fortune ATM so they aren't being used by companies.
