They just let me know they're having a prime day sale so check that out. I also talked to the rep and they told me they will adjust their rated tent sizes for this light to something more reasonable. 4x4 veg, 3x3 flower. Info about the dimmer below. "The Bloom Plus LED series offers a 30-day money-back guarantee and a trusted 3 years warranty." According to Amazon. I really gotta stop doing these reviews at 3am lol. I wanted a more detailed explanation so I checked with the rep and they assured me it was 3 years all parts and shipping so that's good. Also after further review the drivers do have "dimmers" on the side, under a rubber plug, adjusted with a small screw driver. I read "dimmer on back of driver" on amazon and just figured it was on the back of the driver. Should have known not to believe anything that was listed there. Either way, that's not a dimmer IMO. That's adjusting the actual power output at the driver with no limiter. In doing so you can turn this light up beyond where it's supposed to be run. Something I don't recommend but some people take that chance. It can give you performance gains but at the cost of longevity and possibly even safety. I'm waiting on an answer from the rep to see if it voids the warranty if turned all the way up. UPDATE: They told me that they do not recommend turning it up past 400w and that's the answer I got. So I assume do it at your own risk. Either way Bloom Plus continues to be one of the least expensive lights with a respectable output for the money. Man having 4 corner PAR meters makes this a lot easier! Hope you guys like it too! I'm always trying to advance the channel and you guys supporting the channel with the discount codes on my website and my amazon store make it possible. Thanks dudes!(and the 3 chicks that watch)
@@normagee I’m sorry but can you not understand that it’s good for a 3x3 and that it was just over stated on the footprint? Guess not. For the money it’s fine for a 3x3. Im just trying to make people’s expectations more realistic. If you don’t like what I do or can’t grasp such concepts feel free to not watch.
Dimmers are right there next to the cords on the side of the drivers... looks like its turned down a good bit. 2x 240w Drivers should be pulling near 500w from the wall at full blast.
I am currently flowering two 4x4's with these lights so I could add a little input and pictures. These WILL flower a 4x4 scrog setup like mine. No, it is not $1000 light, it's more like $300 so adjust your expected return from your plants. They produce hard trichome coated nugs hanging at 18" in my grow room, not a tent. I grow four photos in each 4x4 scrog because I prefer a larger selection over quantity and these lights do that well for me. If you are that person trying to get a cheap light that will get it done, this will work for a 4x4 lollipopped scrog if you aren't expecting the results of a $1000 light. I would not use this light for more than a 3x3 with untrained plants.
Thanks for the input. I expect it to work about as well as you say based on the numbers I see. Great in a 3x3 space but that outer edge will be lacking in a 4x4. No room for canopy variations.

I just picked up the Hyphotonflux HPS 4000 for my 4x4 after returning that vivosun. I love it and the light spread is best in price. I got mine of amazon for $465 on sale.
@@Justintime2grow I got the viparspectra xs4000 because of you but for the price Hyphotonflux actually a better value because of the 6 bar light spread.... Samsung Led and MW driver. W/ Your coupon I bought another 1 for $439.99.
I purchased a cheap tolys 200 watt from Amazon. With lm301d diodes and a meanwell driver I considered the price a great deal. It arrives from Amazon without a scratch on the box. Then I pulled it out. The aluminum plate was curved (rolled) on one end from the center out about a 16th of an inch. Of course I was disappointed but discovered something unusual. My ppfd readings on the curved side seemed to extend further out to the wall than the other side. It got me thinking that if manufacturers rolled up the aluminum from the center out ever so slightly (1/16th") on the corners of the fixture it might solve the corner problem. The light has been running for 2 weeks and this curve in the board doesn't seem the effect its performance. I still have another couple of weeks to send it back but I'm already into a grow and don't want to expose my plants to weather and insects waiting for a new fixture. YT Marley's Travels to see the fixture.
I just got this light Justin, I've yet to use it however... the MOSO drivers that came on mine the "dimmer holes" are next to the connection to the board is, so I don't have to unscrew the drivers each time. I have fired it up and yes the metal get's very hot!!! I like the idea of adding a riser of some sort and I'm defiantly going to run a small fan maybe two in order to keep the heat down. Great review, now I'm hoping it'll do okay for me. Cheers.
Well my experience on Amazon lights 🙃I truly love using the led lights that I bought and did great 👍my first run 1500w and it's got veg and bloom switch and my veg lights went out on my one set now running bloom switch on 1 light until I can get another one
Ty so much for this review. I was just about to buy this light and I feel like you saved me. Is there another one that you would suggest for a 5 x 5? I’m thinking of a mars Hydro or a spider farmer
Yeah this just won't do a 5x5. It's actually very hard to properly fill a 5x5 with just one light. Spider farmer SE7000 or Mars FC8000. Discount codes on my website, justintime2grow.com for both.
@@braydenwoolrich5422 It was just how it was sent to me from the factory. They set it there. Nobody should be messing with the internal output of the driver unless you really know what you're doing and don't care about a warranty if you blow something up.
I don’t even own a 3x5 and neither do most people. That’s not a standard tent size. I also tested the xs4000 which has ver similar output just better parts. That should give you an idea.
That's not a dimmer. That's to actually adjust the driver and you can over drive your diodes like that and burn them out/shorten their lifespan. A dimmer does not change the maximum output, it's limited. You're talking about changing the output of the driver. Totally not the same.
