Solution In Windows you have an option to change de default embedded from IE to Edge and here is the solution/workaround to make it work. I tested on Win10 x64 and should work on other Win versions. (Easiest way) Using Regedit editor: Open Registry Editor or Win + R shortcut then type regedit Locate the following folder: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION Create a new entry (Dword 32 bits) with the name VirbEdit.exe Change de value of the new entry to 00002ee1 (Advanced way) Command line: Open command prompt ou powershell in administrator mode Run the command to add the new entry: REG ADD "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION" /v VirbEdit.exe /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00002ee1

Thank you for making this video. I have tried both ways and it was such a hassle. As long as no camera company brings up a better solution I'm done with GPS overlays.
I was dying to find a way to record my canicross races with my dog. Since GoPro Hero 12 does not have a gps this has been a life saver for me. Thank you so much me lad!
P.S. a much better way to synchronize your telemetry is to show your cell phone, recording the telemetry to the camera and then the camera will see the time stamp on your cell phone recording and then you can very quickly adjust/synchronize that way

Hey Dru do you then take you video and put it in an editor like Davinci or Premier? Is that why you did the chroma at the end of the paid version section? Have you ever done multiple files like your camera battery dies in the middle of a good run and you stop change the battery, keep going and want to put both files in a timeline ?
yep, i put the chroma background gps over my footage in premer, and yes just have to do the process twice if your camera dies, as long as you sync you're golden :)

Please note that while this remote can pair with 3 Insta360 X2 ONE / X3 etc. cameras it fails dismally to provide GPS data if not paired to ONE SINGLE camera. The moment you have more than one camera paired out goes the valuable GPS data!! So if you, like me, have two or more Insta360 cameras compatible with this remote and mount them to your bike/motorcycle you will only be able to change a few modes and stop/start recording BUT ZERO GPS data... A real disappointment then!

Explorer is no longer supported and there is no way to change the browser in Virb, so we're screwed.
