I started at Swift 29 years ago I did my 1 year contract to pay for my training after 6 months they wanted me to be a trainer. NO THANKS. Been with my current chemical company pulling tankers for 25 years and will retire from here.
Yeah, my company was on me for my first three years to be a trainer. I always thought that since I didn't know anything, I'd be a terrible teacher. I don't regret saying no. It'd be the blind leading the blind.

Funny you should ask. We are dix has they’re own line of safety flops made with the modern CDL’s drivers in mind. No longer will your feet be sweaty and uncomfortable while blocking the fuel island or cat scale. They even have a Sherpa lined set for our snow Mexican brothers during those cold lonely Canadian nights.

I don’t know how anybody can be an orientation with a straight face and lie to the projected new hires about what a great company they’re about to work for. They wouldn’t let you or anybody else. Explain that 65% of your time is free, we’re gonna rush you around, we’re not gonna teach you the proper way to log or drive you have to do that on your own etc.
