I started with Stevens Transport back in 2007 worked for them for 2 and a half years, Then switched to a flatbed company eventually the oil filed then I hauled sod and timber until I had to quite for health reasons in 2018.
One thing they do have is wisdom! I told myself I came here for the knowledge and proper training . The money will always come, but if you want to start with a company that actually pays attention to detail as far as this trucking industry goes, then stevens is the way. I’m in week 3 of my training on the road and I honestly have no complains. My trainer is breaking everything down to the T and even though it’s a lot to intake, I’m very much appreciative! So for the folks talking bad about this company referring to the pay all I can say is when you first starting off you ain’t getting top dollar so be real with yourself. Your better worry about Learning how to drive these trucks properly and safe. Stevens got it on that💯 Salute to you collyn and bless up🙏🏾
Could not have said it any better man, you've got a great outlook on things which will take you places and achieve great things in your career. I appreciate you fam 🙏🏾
Stevens hires from everywhere except California I believe ! Not sure on that one so don't quote me !!! Also sorry for the late response, I've been driving all day 🤘🏾. You can head to Stevens Transport. Com and get all the info you need there
Love the content bro!! Been scrolling through your videos trying to find out about company pay weekly… heard a lot of good things and bad things maybe you could do a video on it or we could talk I start next week in spring.
I tend to stay away from the pay due to it varies for how many miles you drive and how long you're on the road for. I can tell you that starting company side starts you at .50 cents a mile with possible bonuses ! During training you get paid weekly also !
@@Haulin_Collyn412 cool what if I don’t want home time can I just stay Otr? Or do I have to take time off? Just curious as I moved to Texas across the country after my lease was up and ain’t tryna hotel it or air b n b it all the time.
@Returnofthemac20 even as company ! You'll have a trainer explain all of this stuff in better detail once you finish orientation. If you wanna stay OTR then they'll let you 🙏🏾
When I applied I called everyday to make sure they knew I applied. Get in contact with someone and make them talk to YOU ! Nothing wrong with being hungry to work 🙏🏾
