In high-school i was bullied by a kick boxer. Even though i don't know anything about fighting, i stood up and fought him. I am no match for him. My nose was bloody, i got a black eye. And the days after the fight between us the Bully respected me even though i am no match for him. Guys just stood up to bullies. In the end the only thing you will regret is you wish you stood and fight. It doesn't matter if you got beaten. Everyone can be a mma fighter or boxer if they chose to. Everyone can do that. But the only important thing is you must be brave and stood up it doesn't matter if you lose. Being a coward is very unhealthy

Fun addition I found for this, take one of these exercises and jab Every time your left foot comes down. I did it on the tic tac toe rotations every time I came back to center. Not trying to base a strategy or anything off it, but it's a good skill I think to be able to soft jab at least with unstable footing.

i am 48 years old 5.7 feet tall 187lbs heavy and i wish to start kick boxing or boxing. But i am not that flexible. I need to loose another 20 pounds atleast to get fit. I also suffer from herniated disc at the upper back, disc no. 05 at the thorax area and i am in the ehealing processs fro another 3-4 months until the back pain on the spine goes away. Then i wills tart boxing for first time matial arts. Hope i get as flexble as you are.
